She also never gave me a heads up before she was going to pull the strip, which other specialists always do. She really did not seem to want to be there, and was extremely dismissive. I've made note of her name, and will not return to her as a waxer. Again, I usually have a great experience, with waxers, such as Hailie, but the negative experience I had today weighs my overall rating to a 3.

I already knew that she did an amazing job, but being the bargain hunter that I am, the next time I decided to get my lashes done, I went for a deal at a spa in Sonoma. 2 1/2 hours later, my lashes still looked pretty bare. Desperate to get my time and money's worth, I texted Linda a picture of my lashes and asked her if she would be able to fill them for me. She was professional and kind and she got me in within a couple of days. In less than an hour, she not only removed the lashes that were barely hanging on, but filled them in, making them look feminine and elegant, just as I was hoping for. On top of everything her price was fair. Lesson learned: A low price DOES NOT always equal a good deal.

The pressure remained too light throughout, and I kept hoping it would improve, but it never did. I paid for a 90-minute session and, honestly, I was ready to leave after the first 20 minutes. To top it off, at the end of the massage I was handed a dry towel to wipe the massage oil off myself, which felt unusual and took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. The spa itself is beautiful, and the receptionist was warm and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. I just wish the massage had matched the quality of the rest of the experience.
