I have been a customer of Theresa for 13 years. She is patient & kind, always trying to make my nail fills & manicures the best. I really enjoy the variety of colors she has, she even mixes some to get exactly what I'm looking for! When it comes to holidays, she is very creative doing my ring fingers in a that holiday's theme. BTW - I've NEVER had nail fungus. She told me that it's because have my nails done on a regular basis. She is very professional & eager to please. I came in today for a gel fill for my nails, knowing I wanted to switch it up from a regular nude color I chose a dark burgundy color. The woman who was doing my nails was very careful and attentive to my nails prior to painting them but once she started painting them, the color was not opaque enough so she clearly was getting frustrated. 2 hours later and after painting them four times over the nails ended up looking terribly. For the time taken to do them you'd think that they'd be more neat and actually be a matte finish like I had asked for. This was the most painful pedicure I've ever received in my life. She cut my nails way too short - I thought she might be able to tell by the fact that I was wincing in pain! But no, she kept right on going. And now, I also have a mysterious rash on my toe which I've only ever had one time before and that was after my last bad pedicure. YUCK! In addition, this place stinks like acryllic nails. It's almost overwhelming actually. The only thing I liked about my experience was the foot massage. Although when I told her she was tickling me she didn't stop so she almost got a foot in the face but I pulled away from her before that could happen. She's lucky. Thumbs down on customer service I bring three customers in and I asked to have two manicures and one set of nails. It is my mothers first time experience getting her nails done and I had wished for it to be a good one. My mother chose her colors and they go off looking for them coming back with completely different colors. I say to them, "these are not the same." The lady doing my mother's nails raises her voice at me telling me to let my mom decide for herself. My mom is not fluent in English and therefore I spoke up for her. If I could give 0 stars I would. From the beginning the nail tech was saying I had to get a tip but I told her I just wanted my natural nail, she didn't like that response. From then on it just went down hill. She was extremely rude, aggressive, and didn't wasn't listening to what I was saying. I told her I didn't want a square shape, but she left them until she said she was done. I told her that's not what I wanted, she said "that's what you said, not me, you". Long story short she was rude. Teresa tried to fix my nails but ended up just filing them all the way down, making them look uneven. I pointed that out & she proceeded to get loud, saying I had to pay $36 and she would fix them later. I didn't want to risk them messing them up more, so I declined. She then told me to get out. This was a whole 2 hour ordeal, where I felt like they were just trying to make it seem like it was my fault, but nobody tried to do what I asked from the beginning. Theresa is great. She plays music while doing your nails and she even let's me bring my two malt-poos inside. They sit on my lap while I get an amazing Deluxe massage that comes with hot stones. She's open until 7pm too which makes it easier for me to get an appointment. I work until 5pm and leave the gym at 5:45pm. Then I shoot over there and sometimes she even stays a little later for me if something happens and I'm running behind. read more

I have been coming to theresa for almost 9 years now and let me tell you that this woman is absouluy amazing she makes me feel so comfortable. 9 years ago I walked into her saloon ashamed of my toenails she immediately made them pretty. I felt like Cinderella. Now 9 years later my health takes a turn for the worst and my left hand nails fall off and again me being ashamed I go into hiding I go seek theresa and it's like she's the wonder doctor. It's only been 3 days since the service, and the mani looks chipped and thin near the cuticles. It should look like this in well over a week! -1 star :( -- Short review: Skip it and go someplace else. Bad attitude with management. Long review: I'm in Napa celebrating the holidays with my Mom. She wants to get Mani & Pedis - and wanted to try a new place. We walked in with no appointment, and were seated pretty quickly. The amenities are great - the massage table, and lovely lighting. Now I only saw 1 rack of nail polishes (to the right of the front door), and they looked really cheap and crummy. If I'm treating myself, it's going to be nice. So I walked toward the cash register where there's an OPI stand with a beautiful light pink. The woman behind the counter, who seems like a manager or the owner, tells us to take a seat and to pick our colors. I tell her, this is the color I'd like. She informs me they're for sale and I should buy it. I tell her, "No but do you offer this color?" And she points to a second rack (okay I missed it the first time) and that I should locate it by the number on the bottle. I see the number on the bottle, walk to the rack - and the corresponding color is green. Whoops no problem right? Perhaps the person working there can find it? I explain what happened, and she says, "Don't worry just use that one." I thank her, not really expecting that and get my service done. The woman performing the service was very gentle, no problems. (I always request pushing cuticles, and never to cut them.) Awesome hand rub (there's the two stars). At the end, we go to pay, and we pay separate. She scoffs that we're not paying together. Then demands that I pay with cash. I tell her no, and point to the sign that reflects the credit cards accepted in the business (conveniently over her shoulder). Then she asked me to fetch the nail polish - sure no problem, however - she just put it right back on the sale shelf. Hmm...... For $33 bucks, I'd just as soon go to another salon and pay less for the same treatment. It's actually pretty expensive as compared to SF! (With less perks) read more

I love this place! Very comfortable, inviting environment. The salon is super cute inside and kept very clean. I've had a pedicure, regular manicure, shellac manicure and acrylic manicure done there. Every service I've experienced has far exceeded my expectations. I always get compliments on my nails and they last way longer than they probably should. Sorry to say my review mimics the others and I will not be coming back again. Teresa herself seems nice but she needs to fire one of the older ladies in there. She was quite rude, impatient and abrupt with me throughout my mani/pedi and very forceful when working on both my feet and hands. She generally seemed in a bad mood (one time knocking over a bowl of water and angrily cleaning it up). In the end the mani and pedi (gel on fingers only) cost me $54. I've been going to Theresa for years and I just love her. I'm there every other week for my nails and pedicure. Sometimes the hubby comes along with me for a pedicure too. Always good, consistent and love the foot massages. She also does facials and brow waxing. Theresa is attentive to my very sensitive nail beds and does the best she can to avoid hurting me. She has a good selection of colors but I usually carry my own with me (that I buy from her) she has hand/skin lotion products for purchase and she can always fit me in for a last minute appointment. I get gel on my nails and they look good until my next appointment and rarely lift or break. Love you lady. read more

I have been going here for quite some time. The service has gone down hill. They used to do a long foot massage with a pedicure. Now they just do the minimal to get you out. Theresa is very friendly but the other lady is quite rude and very rough when she handles your feet. My husband and I have both had her and you are in pain more often than not. What pushed me over the edge this time was when Theresa over charged us at the end. A pedicure is supposed to be $22. She charged $27 each to my credit card. When I asked her about it she spoke to the other lady in vetanamese and then told me it was because my husband had a callous treatment. She never asked him if he wanted one nor told him it was going to cost more. He just got the same treatment I had, a normal pedicure. She ended up giving me back $5 for mine, as she over charged me for mine too, but not his. I will not be going back here again! read more

This salon is VERY dirty, I almost left before having the manicure I booked there. EVERYTHING is dirty, covered in nail dust etc. polish is gloppy and I doubt it will last more than a day! This place has a clean and simple design in an old bungalow home. Theresa was very nice and accommodating in fitting me in for a walk-in appointment. Tony did both my manicure and pedicure. He was very kind and took his time with doing a good job. My nails and toenails turned out great and a short arm and foot massage was really nice.
