I wanted to like this place because it's so close to where we live, but I definitely won't be going back. The pedicure was super basic, with more "lotion application" than any sort of massage. The first time I went in, it took a half an hour to get in for my appointment. The second time, I had an appointment, and was told when I walked in that they were overbooked and to "please go somewhere else"...! It says walk-ins welcome... I wouldn't say so. Definitely make an appointment. I was so excited to finally get a chance to get my nails done, checked for appointment necessary on Yelp, Google, etc... and didn't say it was. I drove here and was immediately turned away. I got there at about 4:20, and they said they couldn't fit me in for a manicure or pedicure. They didn't even close until 6 PM! Are you saying that you can't fit in a manicure or pedicure within the next hour and a half? AND you say walk-ins welcome? Absolutely ridiculous. Very disappointed with the false advertising (says 'walk ins welcome' on their door and website). I'm sure this place is lovely, but poor rating given for poor customer service and false advertising. read more

came in on sunday for a mani / pedi. the place was very clean looking overall and very busy - 6 of 7 pedicure chairs were take as were all the manicure tables. i would highly recommend making an appointment. the owner was very friendly and professional but my nail technician did an awful job. barely touched my cuticles for the mani and didn't even scrub my feet for the pedi - i had to ask her to use soap and a sponge which is STANDARD. when i tired to explain this multiple times she said the salon did not scrub feet and finally the owner had to come over to tell her what to do - perhaps this was a language barrier but frustrating nonetheless. my nails chipped an hour after i got home - for a $40 mani pedi you can get much better elsewhere! update - once i posted my original poor review i received a harassing message from one of the employees of the nail salon about my messages. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE- have reported them to yelp. as stated before - stay away!! read more

I am picky and she is a perfectionist - a great match. The only reason I am not giving her 5 stars is that I would love to see a little nicer decor. It's clean, they're friendly, they have good celebrity smut mags, the massages are great but the best part is that they will tun you away if they don't have room for you - unlike most places that say it will be only 5-10 mins and you end up waiting for over 30-45 mins. I stopped going to a place on Lower/Upper Queen Anne because I contracted a staph infection from dirty nail equipment/tubs. I have been going to Princess Nails since they opened (about 10 years ago). I have always had the best experience at Princess Nails. The utensils are properly sanitized, the foot basins disinfected before each customer, and my pedicures, manicures, and bikini waxing are 5-star. Over the years i have tried other, expensive spas when I could not get into Princess Nails or was out of town. I am very, very picky and have never found another nail salon as good as Princess Nails. read more

There are 3 people that work here. I went with a group of 4 with no reservation, they fit us in 2 and then 2. We were helped by all three of them between the four of us. They are all very skilled and very nice. The environment is very clean and comfortable, and they are very accommodating. No one was cut, or uncomfortable, or hurt in any way like I've read in reviews of other places. They wore gloves the whole time while giving pedicures, and cleaned the tubs out thoroughly between customers. The prices (as of today) are $12 mani, $20 pedi, $30 mani/pedi, $25 UV gel/"solar nails". We got manicures, pedicures, and UV gel manicures between all of us, and we all look great! The prices are great, there is free parking, they are very sweet, they have tons of magazines to look at, and are very accommodating to walk in customers. I would highly recommend this place and will come here again, no doubt about it. read more

I just got back from receiving my first mani/pedi at Princess Nails. Princess Nails is a wonderful family business run by husband and wife, Noc and Le. I received a flawless pedicure by Noc. And he also does an amazing job at massaging your calves. At the same time I received my french manicure from Le. She is truly a perfectionist at what she does, from picking out a pretty holiday nail polish color, to the hand massages, to the tiniest detail of the manicure. The staff was beyond friendly (always calling you by your first name), the service was quick (I was in and out in under an hour), the atmosphere is clean, well lit and comfortably warm (there are space heaters on so you don't feel cold at all). All in all, it was amazing quality at an affordable price. They have a large selection of OPI nail polishes to choose from. I highly recommend Princess Nails! I have been coming to Princess Nails for 5+ years, and they are the best salon EVER. Thuy (the owner) is such a sweetheart, and she & her colleagues Lee and Ngoch are all so friendly and welcoming. I LOVE it! They are all excellent at doing mani / pedi's, and Thuy is also an amazing waxer. The salon is always sparkling clean, and you are always greeted with a smile. I cannot recommend this salon highly enough - I encourage you to try it, you'll become a regular like me! Just make sure to park in either their spot(s) or the Visitor spot(s), as there is a lady who works upstairs who is rude and aggressive when people park in her spot by mistake. The best nail salon ever! I'm lucky enough to live a block away - they always are happy to get me in with a few hours' notice. They are all so nice and do such a good job, and the salon is always super clean and inviting. Either of the girls who do acrylics (Thuy or Yen) are great, they always take extra care to make sure that nails are all even and that you're comfortable.
