I contacted Lavender Salon in a bit of a crisis. Two days before my wedding, my original hairstylist informed me that she was no longer willing to follow the timeline she had agreed to in order to make sure my bridal party was ready prior to the start of our wedding. I began frantically calling salons explaining my situation and hoping for a miracle. Lucky for me, Lavender was more than willing to step in and help me, even at such a short notice. They informed me they would be able to accommodate me and my entire bridal party. They were even able to shorten my original timeline by providing two stylists. I was scheduled for a trial with Lindsay the next day, and it went wonderfully! Shelia, the owner reached out to me and let me know that my party could make themselves at home in the salon. They even had champagne glasses ready to go! Our two stylists, Lindsay and Ivy, were extremely friendly and talented. Everyone's hair turned out beautiful. I believe things happen for a reason and I couldn't have been happier with their service and how everyone's hair looked for my big day. Hair and makeup for your wedding are such an integral part of your day, getting a bridal party ready takes about as much time as the wedding itself. Alison Sisto is the worst hair stylist and colorist what ever you do don't let her touch your hair if you have curly hair, or if you care how your color turns out. I arrived on time and had to wait over 50 minutes for my appointment. Her station was filthy and hair color was all over the walls and on her chair her finger nails were dirty and stained from color. I requested to have her style my hair curly but she still did whatever she wanted. It was the most strained conversation ever. After she finished my hair I was so upset I couldn't even talk I just left there holding back my tears. When I got home and restyled my hair I saw that she had cut so many layers that my thick curly hair that it was a freaking nightmare. I had an a big chunk of hair missing on the side I usually part my hair to. She also didn't wipe off the color she had gotten all over my face around my hairline it took me over 45 minutes to get it off. When I called to complain after I calmed down, I couldn't get her to answer my calls, the management is horrible because they didn't even offer to have someone else fix the mess she made of my hair. She also offers referrals a free cut with color, she did not honor it and charged me full price. read more

I found Lavender Salon through the Bridal Showcase at Cal Expo in January, and couldn't be more thankful I did! From the beginning Shiela the owner was VERY helpful in answering all of our questions and booking was so easy! She was always available for questions throughout the planning process, responding to texts and emails so quickly. On my wedding day the bridal team drove over an hour to my hotel near my venue in Plymouth, CA and arrived on time and immediately started working on my bridesmaids. Alaina, Lindsay and Athena were so personable and fun, and made the wedding morning so special for not only me, but my entire wedding party. They took their time on each individual and everyone's hair and makeup lasted perfectly well into the night. I used Lavender Salon for my wedding day, and for months prior to my wedding. Leading up to my wedding day, I got multiple spray tans, manicures and pedicures, facials and massages, and had my hair dyed at Lavender Salon. Each time was a wonderful experience. Their team is amazing. Brittany completely transformed my skin with chemical peels. Alaina gave me the most natural looking spray tans. Kelly dyed my hair the exact color I wanted it for my big day. We had so much fun getting ready on the day of my wedding. The bridal team made it such a pleasant and stress-free experience. I had a large group of bridesmaids, and they were still able to finish everyone's hair and make-up early. 2 of my bridesmaids were so impressed with their hair and make-up, that they even went ahead and booked Lavender Salon for their upcoming weddings. In October I had the Lavender Salon Wedding team do hair and makeup for my wedding. The level of professionalism and skill these girls have blew me away. Working with Sheila to get everything set up was extremely easy in a already stressful time. She took care of literally everything I needed. Angela did my hair, it looked absolutely amazing!!! She was so fun and so detail oriented. Lindsay did the girls hair, it was Stunning!!! She was so sweet and made sure everyone loved their hair. I worked with Lavender Salon for hair and makeup services for my wedding day. Shelia was amazing to work with and was always quick to respond to any of my questions. Our original date had to be postponed due to Covid and she was flexible and accomadating with the changes that had to be made. My makeup artist was Jessica from Wild Beauty Aesthetics and my hair stylist was Cheree with Created By Cheree. In total there was 5 of us who were getting hair and makeup done. They both arrived at the bridal suite on time and finished all of our hair and makeup before schedule. Jessica and Cheree were so nice and fun to spend the day with. Absolutely obsessed with how great my lashes always look. Kassidy does the most amazing lashes around. I have been to numerous other artist and none even compare. She is timely, professional, and thorough. I always leave with my lashes looking like 150%. I get compliments almost weekly, even after a couple weeks of growth. She is so accommodating with my busy schedule and has the most detailed work making sure my lashes are super full each time I come in. Ivy is amazing and I'd highly recommend her to anyone looking. In the past with other stylists, when I've shown pictures of what I wanted, there was always a slight disappointment of it not being exactly what I was hoping for. Three lovely, professional and organized hair and makeup artists arrived on time and ready to turn all of us (four bridesmaids, bride, mother of bride) into head turners. Excellent work. Alaina Foster is THE LADY to go to for your waxing needs. She really seems to care about what she does. She took the time to explain the whole process, and made me feel so comfortable.
