I've went here twice i didn't enjoy my first set as much it did not look how i expected i had it on only for a week and a half and three nails broke off and my second set were okay but WAY too glued on my REAL NAIL lifted with the acrylic and it won't come off with many homemade recipes and acetone. My nail beds are damaged and now i have to wait WEEKS to heal it again i need to go somewhere PROFESSIONALLY to get treated. Not happy with this "Salon" and over priced to might i add not a fair pricing for very short length nails. read more

I had a regular pedicure and manicure two days ago. My husband had a pedicure. I had Peter and my husband had Leon. Peter clearly hated his job. He spent the whole time during the pedicure with a scowl on his face. I tried to ignore it but I began to feel uncomfortable. After the pedicure, I moved over to Peter's manicure station but first he indicated I should pay for everything first--meaning my pedicure, manicure and my husband's pedicure. I guess this is something that happens in some salons, but it was a first for me. I obliged Peter. When I paid with my debit card, I put no tip because I always give tips in cash because I think it's better for the employee since the cash belongs to the employee and not the management Peter saw I had marked no tip on the receipt. He stopped and came up very close to me and stared into my eyes and looked very angry. I didn't explain to him he'd get his tip in cash because I didn't want to feel like I was responding to his inappropriate reaction. Eventually he saw my husband had taken out cash to tip both employees. Then he was all smiles and patting me on my shoulder and was very solicitous. Leon was fine with my husband. I feel like the general atmosphere was like many employees were unhappy. One woman walked in and said she wanted a manicure. One of the manicurist said, without looking at the customer, and said, "Go to the back wall and pick a color" in a stern tone. I watched the customer. She made a face that she felt the order was inappropriate. And she walked out. I do not recommend Lavie Nails to anyone. I was uncomfortable the whole time was there. And my husband and I did leave tips, not as generous as usual, but I believe the employees probably struggle to make ends meet. read more

I'm not a fan of lines when it comes to nails neither being turned down service because they are too backed up. For all the fans of pampering themselves, I believe a nail salon should be a little getaway, relaxing 30-60 min joyride. The pedicures here start with a great massage chair along with a comforting foot soak. Nails are then buffered, shaped, all that good stuff. A massage is then performed along with a foot rub and it's not the rushed type they actually take their time! After your foot has gone to relax nation they will complete it with any OPI polish of your choice. Voila. Did I mention the pedicures here are only $20? That's why I spoil myself so silly here. Most painful pedicure of my entire life. Very rough and was very focused on scraping the nail? I was out of town and went here because for the area it had higher stars. I wish I waited. I get pedicures regularly so I know my feet are not in horrible condition by any means. It was an older lady who did mine. An hour into it she had not even started on the polish yet. The polish looks like my 4 year old child did it. It was a mess when she put it on and it took forever for her to clean up around the nail to get all the excess polish off. She literally painted all of my toes. Not just the nails. But the toes! My toes are in so much pain today and I got this one yesterday. I have never had a pedi hurt the next day. I don't know how they are open. My red flag should have been that in the hour and change I was there- no one came in. read more

I will most definitely be a repeat customer here. I decided to treat myself to a deluxe pedicure, since it will probably be my last one before my baby is born. It was so wonderful. My pedicurist took his time and made me feel like I was important, not just pushing to get me done. He was so nice because I think he was concerned about me going into labor due to the chair and the massage. I told him no worries, I'm full term, if it happens it's fine (I was actually hoping this would help my son move along!). His massage was phenomenal. I also appreciated that he did not try to push a bunch of other services on me. My toes look great, the massage was great, everyone in the place was nice. I want to keep his name to myself because I'm selfish and want to make sure he is free when I want him, but if you want a great experience, ask for Chili. Pedicures only $20 and the deluxe was only $30. Great prices! ONLY drawback, and I didn't deduct a star for it, but they allow solicitors to come in and try to sell you things. I have been coming here for years. Nick and his wife are absolutely amazing. Nick does by far the best nails and he is super fast and great at shaping. I've never had any issues with my nails. One day he even recommended that I lay off the acrylic for a while which most nail places have never done and I thought it was genuine and a great recommendation. read more

After coming here for years they have a new owner that knows nothing, particularly how to service customers or even speak to them. No wonder the place is much emptier than usual. This was my first time here and I got an organic cucumber pedicure with Nick. He did an impeccable job. I think it's the best pedicure I have ever had. He was also a very nice person. The only negative thing I would say is that the woman who is seemingly the owner came into the salon and was a little obnoxious (she was a little rude to Nick and was talking on her cell phone loudly). The customer service here is very poor made a 630 appointment and it was written down for 6 o'clock called at 6:25 saying I was 10 minutes away and got a OK , got there at 6:35 and was told I would not be getting any service because they close at 7 went on the website the nail salon says close at 7:30 no manager was there either to speak with. I had the worst customer service experience at this place. My advice is to take your money some place else. Plain and simple, don't go there. They do what they want and rarely listens to the customer and they barely speak English or Spanish in a predominantly Spanish speaking area so they can barely communicate with you. I've been going here for almost 4 years to a nail tech name Tony and my few last visits he wasnt there, he was great and always showed great customer service. Anytime I went to anyone else I would be upset at the results Within in the last year the service has gone from ok to horrible. I repeat you may regret that decision to go to this place. Absolutely great, The staff is wonderful and very attentive to your every need, it is a truly relaxing environment and the prices are very reasonable, no matter who takes care of you they always take their time to make sure everything is just fine. Nick is the owner and he is wonderful, I always mess up a nail or two and he always fixes it and never complains.
