I said I wanted to be "bright" I came in at a level 9. I left at level 7. The toner was way too dark. But I'm the person to say "it looks great" even when I don't mean it. I didn't realize that with a $250 color service, the blowout was not included. I have NEVER paid extra to have my hair dried but I had an event so I paid about $48 just for that. A haircut would have been $50 something on top of that. I paid in total over $300 without a haircut. But I made another appointment anyway. Not that the stylist was warm and friendly, she was all business, but because I didn't have anyone else to go to and I travel a lot for work. The second time I made a mistake on the date of my appointment and I was grateful I was able to get in the following day. The stylist asked if everything was ok from last time and I said yes, but I'd like to be brighter. Well, I came out with an even darker mushroomy color. I paid an extra $30 to have oleplex added to my bleach also. I did not opt for the full blowout, just a quick dry to see the color. I left the salon with frizzy dull hair in an unattractive color. I cried on the way home. Luckily, my daughter who is in cosmetology school was home and was able to remove the way too dark toner and magically give me the bright blonde I originally wanted. Overall, the salon services are waaaay overpriced. It's definitely quantity of customers over quality.

The consultation was quick and easy to book online. During my appointment, she mentioned several times how damaged and "green" my hair looked from box dye. I understood she was being informative, but hearing it repeatedly felt a bit discouraging. Not everyone can afford $600-$700 salon visits or avoid box dye completely, so I wish that had been said with a little more sensitivity. The balayage itself turned out nice, though the appointment took about six hours, which felt long in the past others have take. 4 hours max with my hair the same length. My bangs didn't get as layered as expected. She's direct and professional, and the salon is clean and easy to schedule with. Overall, talented stylist, just expect higher pricing, a long session, and a straightforward personality.

The shape is perfectly balanced and a huge plus, so simple to replicate exactly like Aida did. I will definitely have Aida continue to cut my hair. Word of warning, even though I was quoted $70 for a haircut I was actually charged $95. I have straightish jaw length hair and I was told by CeCe that the charge of $70 didn't apply because it took Aida over an hour for the cut. Not really satisfied with the response. But I will return because Aida is extremely talented and look forward to my next appointment. The salon is tiny, spotlessly clean and very simple. Don't expect a 'spa' like environment. My thanks go out to Aida for a fabulous new style!
