I just got off of my last phone call with back-and-forth with them. I paid $175 for an eye appointment that included left and right contacts. They just now over probably the past week got my left side contacts and when I initially went in I explained to them that I do not live in Florida and I needed to get all of this done. I traveled from Tampa to Miami to pick these contacts up four different times. The only thing I got was six right contacts. I also paid in Cash. I am too stressed out to deal with this situation. So they have stolen $75 from me. I actually just told him that they could keep it because I know there's not much I can do because I paid in Cash. I don't think that saving $30 compared to what other companies recommended me was worth it to keep staying in a State that I do not live in dealing with these peoples back-and-forth problems. I much rather would have paid the amount. I did and gotten the contacts. But unfortunately I am out $75. I don't have any contacts for my left eye, which I have a degenerative. I disease in and that's all I can say about that. I do not recommend this place.

The doctor and the optician attendant pushed for use of prescription glasses, criticized my glasses as they're ere apparently old and obliged me to look for frames from their display. I clarified and redirected the conversation for my contact lenses prescription. They then said they can not give it to me as apparently "prescriptions would differ depending on the contact lenses that I would use. They then demanded which brand I would prefer so they can give me the prescription for it. I actually work in the medical field and told them their claim is untrue. You do not need a brand to diagnose my eye prescription. This was the worst eye exam I have ever been to. I worry about customers who are unable to advocate for themselves and end up ripped off. These loud, unprofessional, car salesmen-come- opticians should be held liable to what they are doing to customers. Bad practice.

When we first entered, I was disappointed to see that their frames were either behind the counter or in a case. I don't like the feeling of being pressured and at the mercy of a salesperson, but that wasn't the case here. Raiko asked what type of frames I was looking for. He started looking at his display and pulling out some frames. After realizing that there were some shapes that I didn't like, he started focusing on other styles. I liked that I was left alone while he was selecting frames for me and leaving them in the counter for me to try. After finally finding a pair that I liked, I mentioned that I wasn't sure if the prescription. Raiko looked my current prescription and the picture I had of my old prescription, and mentioned that it was a big change. I didn't realize that the other gentleman who was working at a computer was Dr. Masters, but he came over to take a look at my prescription. I was amazed at their care and concern to make sure that my prescription was correct. My glasses took longer than "same day" but that was due to my insurance. I was surprised that my glasses fit perfectly and didn't need to be adjusted when I picked them up. I would highly recommend them if you need new glasses!
