My monthly pedicure is with Angelica, she's the BEST! Her quality of work is amazing, detailed & consistent. My go to is the Deep Sea pedicure; cooling mint masque treatment to hydrate and detoxify your skin. $45 I enjoy the way the masque feels on my feet very cool and refreshing. The aroma of mint is very relaxing after a long day at work. I normally book my appointments in the later afternoon and normally there's only about one to two other guest. Which great not too busy! it's relaxing & enjoyable to be there at that time. (1/5) I had a 4:00 PM appointment at Lavish Spa and Nail Lounge and didn't get seen until 4:13 PM. At 4:01, the front desk told me it would be "five minutes." That turned into thirteen. If you're going to run behind, be honest. Don't keep customers sitting there based on fake time estimates like their schedule doesn't matter. Appointments are supposed to mean something--especially when you show up on time. Unprofessional front desk communication, poor time management, and zero respect for customers' time. I've had several great experiences at this salon with other technicians, which is why this visit was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, my pedicure with Angelina(?) felt very rushed. There was little to no foot massage, which is one of the most relaxing parts of a pedicure. My cuticles were not properly trimmed, my toenails were left with sharp edges, and the polish application looked uneven and unfinished. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but the overall quality of the service didn't meet the standard I've come to expect from this salon. Called in to ask if they accept walk ins- she said yes and that they also had an availability at 1:15 I accepted it- got there around 12:58 ish. FD was kind of stand offish, the energy In there is weird. Everyone just walks around like they don't know what to do. I waited 7 mins then walked out. The FD told me- she's just finishing up, no thanks. As customers we are required to be on time- as a service provider they are also. Energy in there was weird, stale. I come here every few weeks for my pedicures. I look forward to using the massage settings on their chairs while relaxing & getting my pedi done. The salon is kept tidy & it's not noisy, so I can relax & chill, while just enjoying having my feet, legs massaged, pampered & getting a fresh coat of paint & great nail art work all the time. I'm so disappointed. I really did like coming here. I paid for an expensive pedicure and not even a week later the ring toe polish is coming off clean (see attached photo). I called to see if they could repair it for free, with the understanding that most nail salons have a 72 grace period. I'm a day over so they said they'd charge me starting at $14 but this was gel!!! Booked an appt for a basic pedicure. They called the day of and asked to reschedule me due to a nail tech calling out. No problem I don't mind at all. When I got there the receptionist started asking different techs if they could take me (seems odd if I had an appt) but that was fine. The pedicure itself was great and the massage was fantastic. The color choices were honestly really disappointing, with a lot of the bottles of polish super dried up and I couldn't find either color I had originally planned on getting. The polish looked good but unfortunately smudged overnight while I was sleeping which is crazy since my appt was at 2pm. Polish was fine before I went to bed and messed up when I woke up. I loved coming here for facials. Best facials w one particular tech. Unfortunately, she is out until May. My 15 year old daughter has done her lashes with this facials before and they were great. I reached out to the spa to show them my daughters inspiration photo and what she actually got. They asked me to come back and redo the lashes, which any business owner should, but when I explained, my daughter unable to come back because Iolani Fair prevented her, tomorrow, the day of the prom, she has hair and nails... there is nooooo time AT NO TIME did I ask for a refund, nor did I act in a disrespectful way. Last minute for my daughter getting her nails done for prom. It was just a walk in and they had availability so front desk tells tech Ashley French tip and pedi.. then she goes. I decided to do me too since it wasn't busy. Im done with my pedi wondering why daughter taking so long to getting her pedi. Im on to doing my nails and notice daughter tech removing white polish. Im like " what happened?" Tech says "oh I thought she wanted white nails" I said ".... at this point I tell tech "its daughter's 1st time so she dont know the process but I thought front desk informed you". Tech said "oh no they dont normally tell them" so then I said "did you know that my daughter is also doing a pedi too?" She said " idk if its with me or another tech for her pedi" at this point I'm a bit annoyed. Body language from tech shows like shes annoyed redoing daughter's nails. I didnt notice that my daughter's real nails were not cut and u can see it in the back‍ I know now a days they are charging everything which I can understand but tech could have informed me if they cut there's a fee or like they dont cut real nails b4 applying fake nails just communicate. Make sure front desk communicates to techs what customers are there for and then techs to just confirm what they want as customers sits in front. Also let customers know extra fees for what's not included in a mani or pedi. My experience on the other hand with SALLY was AMAZING!! Every fee that I had to pay extra on was told to me as she was processing my mani and pedi. She was very concentrated on her work but still snuck in a lil convo to making sure if I was OK. read more

I visited this salon for the very first time for a facials with Mia. I highly recommend booking facials with this specialist. Location: The salon is located behind Olive Garden restaurant and next to Macy's. Salon & bathroom cleanliness: They were clean, airy, organized, and nicely decorated. There were soaps, paper towels, and TP in the bathroom. There was a separated section with private rooms for facials and waxes. That section was quiet and relaxing. Staff: Mia was very professional and friendly. I liked that she masked up for my appointment, possessed good listening skill, and was willing to accommodate to my facial needs. I am pregnant, so there are certain skincare procedures and products I cannot undergo or use at the moment. The facial procedure was very relaxing and helped me relieve off some tension. When I finished, my skin was glowy and and super moisturized (I came in with super dry skin). She also gave me a light massage for feet and hands. Aside from Mia, although I did not have much interaction with other staff, they appeared to be friendly and welcoming. read more

Took my daughter here Thursday to do her eyelashes for a prom she attending. I later learned the outcome was not how it should be. I found out that the stylist convinced my daughter it was the right outcome. When my wife contacted the business to express my daughter's concerns, after a brief back and forth conversation, the person basically told my wife you should take your business elsewhere. I was pleased to get a call from the manager Tatiana saying that they will redo the polish at no cost. Made an appointment for that Saturday to come in and fix it. Everything went great, nail tech Jennifer was good and I tipped her. At the end when I was making sure everything was covered they tried to charge me again! $55. I told both receptionists that the manager told me it would be free. No manager was there again so the receptionist had to call to verify! Horrible. Mothers need breaks and when we get them mani and pedis are the first things that come to mind among our self care or shopping hobbies. I chose this location simply because it was close to me and normally I'm very easy to impress. This was not one of those times. I was gravely disappointed from the second I stepped in. Asking the first question are walk ins allowed? Only to find that yes they are but there is no availability within and even over an hour...I was asked to come back. I decided to wait it out as it lies in the Kamakana alii mall. Killed some time and came back. Upon re-entering I was forced to wait some more even with the appt time another 30 min and just as I was about to get up and leave I was finally seen. To add upon my over 2 hour wait time the receptionist who appears in her teens was very rude and sassy as I misunderstood my appt, they only had time to do a mani for me. She looked at me with disgust and said I thought we already discussed this after the nail tech came to tell her that I was excited about finally getting my mani pedi. Which by the way the nail tech could've told me and communicated. To top it off the mani job was okay and these stats are simply for the efforts of a very rushed and stressed looking tech who tried her best. But to utilize one break in a long time being a busy mother who was also pregnant at the time looking forward to some much needed me time. I left being more stressed then when I had entered. My Nail Tech Thuy is the bomb. Always have great conversations. Vibes are always positive. Great suggestions for color and I always leave happy with my mani/pedi service. The only reason I said maybe was because of the gnat I just swallowed. Protein for lunch! There seems to be a bit of an issue. I came to this salon because of their website. I arrived for scheduled appointment of mani/pedi together at the same time. I was then told I'd have to do them separately with different techs in different areas. The poor brand new technician had no idea what she was doing and should not have been able to service clients. She knew nothing about customer service, products offered, what was on the menu and had very to no experience at all. Not her fault. The person who let her practice on clients fault. I was there for 2.5 hours and said I was finished after she painted my toes. There was a 5 step process to the Volcano mani and pedi. They didn't have enough product so they shared between my feet and hands and forgot to use 3/5 products and sent me home with them in a ziploc bag. Then tried to charge me for polish removal?! The vibe was terrible. TV's were off, dark and cold. Receptionist was super overwhelmed that no one wanted to work and my skin is no better than when I walked in. Do not go here. And if you find an actual nice place around Ewa beach or kapolei please let me know. The one in Walmart has the best service and does the best job but hard to feel pampered there. read more

I called and luckily was able to get an appointment with Talina who I found via IG! My nails came out better than I ever could've expected and the price was great! While there I met Angelica who was also the sweetest, I didn't get a service from her but the nails I saw her client get were gorgeous!! For my pedi, I got this queen named Lei who did my frenchies perfectly and recommended the matcha pedi which I loved!! Overall everyone I met was the sweetest and I can't wait to be back! read more

Went in for their famous tutti frutti gel pedi and gel manicure. Two diff nail techs. Both gals were friendly and professional. The services were pricier than most salons - be sure to check their price list before going. Salon was clean and quiet. Appt was on time. Gel pedi was good and continues to look fine. Gel mani began to chip within a week (on two hands). 4 stars due to two things: 1) gel manis should not chip in under a week. Been getting these for years without issues. And no, I didn't do anything out of the ordinary that would cause them to chip early. 2) salon charges extra if you pay with a credit card. So I brought cash, and the receptionist informed me (when I was ready to pay) that they don't carry change. As in loose change. If you're gonna charge extra for using a credit card, your employees should have a cash drawer that is ready to provide change. read more

I spent $78 for a gel x FILL today. I didn't notice how uneven it truly was until I got home, but im devastated. Before I left, I asked her to fix the thickness on one of the nails which somewhat fixed it, but I was sent home with a nail file "just in case". She was so, so sweet but I'm going to be asking for a refund and go somewhere else to get it fixed. $78 for this just isn't right. I've gone here before and never had issues, but when i went today it was horrible. I asked for builder gel and to use nail forms, but she said my nails were too short and that she'd just do Gel X so that was an issue. Second, she didn't do any actual maintenance on my natural nails, no trim, no filing, etc. she just glued the fake ones on. Thirdly, instead of soaking off my acrylics she scraped them off using another fake nail and it was so painful. When she began gluing the nails on, she was using SO much glue. I'm not a nail person by any means but even I could tell it was weird. Curing my nails under the UV light burned terribly, and I expressed that also. When I left the salon I realized all of that excess glue was just cured under my nails in chunks. These pics don't show it well, but it's horrible. On top of that, almost every nail was missing polish around the edges. I'm so upset about my experience here.. Loved my first visit to Lavish! Went with my teammates and we were able to all sit together and they also accommodated my daughter last minute. The space is very airy and clean. Love the cool lighting fixtures and VAST selection of colors! Their menu is so big I had a hard time deciding what kind of pedicure. I guess I'll have to try different ones every time. I was pleasantly surprised of priding. I was expecting over $100 for me and my daughter but it was only $80. I guess I could afford to be pampered once in a while. I came in about 10 min prior to my appointment that was scheduled at 5pm and was told to have a seat in the lounge area. 2 girls walked in at around 5:15 and mentioned that they were early for their appointment that was scheduled at 5:30 but they were automatically seated and started on. When I asked the receptionist why they were seated before me, she said that was because I was scheduled with a lady who was still working on someone else and that I would have to wait for her. 40 minutes later and I'm still waiting. I called in last minute and they were able to see me. Lavish is located next to Macy's in Ka Makana mall. Once I got in I was greeted and checked in. In 5 minutes , I was called by the nail tech Lei . Very quiet and to the point of getting my nails done. She exactly did what I wanted. It came out beautifully. I usually don't leave reviews but I was in so much disbelief! The girl I had was not new because I asked the receptionist but I knew from the beginning it wasn't gonna be a good session. Glued on tips crooked, gel polish application was so horrible! I felt like she didn't know what she was doing. I even left with an air bubble open on the side of one of my nails. I am just in disbelief that they allow this type of work..do they just hire anyone?! The girl was nice but really bad work. I almost left in tears that's how bad it was. My husband and I have been coming here for about 2 years now. I have noticed the quality and customer service going down but we kept coming here a because it was convenient for us. After this last appointment, we won't be back. We had a 4:00pm appointment. Walked in at 3:50pm and waited. 1 of the techs walked by us and muttered something which I assumed she was ready so we just followed her. She scrubbed by feet for maybe 15 seconds, rubbed her hands on my legs (guessing that was the massage) for maybe 2 minutes each side, painted my big toe 2 coats and the rest 1 coat, then painted on a clear coat in different directions. She walked away for 1 minute and came back to put my slippers on. My husband finished 2 minutes before me. I was at the front desk ready to pay AT 4:20pm! The massage chair runs for 20 minutes and it didn't even stop during the time I was sitting in the chair. I asked the front desk girl how long a pedicure usually takes and she told me "about 1 hour".... My service took at most 20 minutes and it looks like crap. We should have known to not go back a few visits ago. read more

Scheduled an appointment for a pedi via text for 6:15 pm. They never mentioned anything about it being too late for an appointment. I got a confirmation that said, "We shall see you at 6:15 for your pedicure". At 6:06 pm while I'm literally driving there and about to turn into the mall, I get a text that says my appointment is cancelled because I'm late? I called in immediately and they did end up taking me, but why book someone at a time and then try to change it later? I have my texts as proof of the time I booked. Regardless, I paid for the coffee pedicure with gel polish upgrade. I barely had any polish left on my toes since it's been so long since I've had a pedicure, but they still charged me an extra $7 for "soak off". Altogether, $93 with tip added in for a gel pedicure. For that price I expected a lot more. I couldn't even tell it was a coffee pedicure. The salon I normally go to is much cheaper, way better, and doesn't charge to remove old polish. My fault for trying to go somewhere closer to home. Would definitely not come back here for any services again. First nail salon I've been to since coming to Hawaii. Maybe I'm not used to spending more than two hours in a salon, but 3.5 hours for a short gel acrylic full set with no design and a gel pedi is a bit long IMO. 2 hrs 20 minutes for the regular polish removal and gel acrylic set 1 hr 20 min for the gel pedi with gel color change. The nail tech Malia, bless her, did a good job. She doesn't talk much, which is totally fine by me as she was focused on her work. 5/5 for the finished work. Fair price point of $135. Just the servicing wait time was pretty brutal. I've never wanted to leave being at a nail salon before. Especially for such a basic set. read more

Had my eyebrows hybrid tinting by Jenny and it was horrible! I told her I wasn't happy it was too thick and crooked. She didn't fix it and insisted it was because my bone structure wasn't symmetrical. I went home and scrubbed it off. I am so unhappy and will never return!
