Five stars hands down for Tina and her nail techs! I've been coming to them for years as they used to be in the Kapolei Walmart and are now located near Foodland in Kapolei. Lots of parking available and in a convenient area. I always get the special pedicure which includes a lengthy leg scrub, relaxing foot massage, paraffin wax and stone massage. Since I exercise on a daily basis, my feet sooo appreciate the pampering! I always leave feeling so relaxed and well taken care of. The nail techs are warm, friendly, and professional. Family in town and they wanted to get a pedi to complement their beach look. Made an appt for four of us side by side. Arrived on time and they quickly got us in. I just had the basic, being a bit rough on my feet, while they all did the gel. The place was busy, they used a liner which was disposable between clients. I was satisfied, although the leg massage part could have been firmer. Everyone else seemed happy with their service. read more

Love getting my nails done here. The owner Tina is wonderful and the prices are really reasonable. Steph was also really great at recreating a design I asked for. I usually pay about $90 or so for gel builder with designs. I believe it's around $60 if you get gel builder as just one solid color. It literally lasts over a month and has made my natural nails so strong and long. It just about never chips, and the only reason I come in for a new manicure is due to the new growth at the nail beds. Super convenient location in Kapolei next to Curry House and Foodland Farms. Lots of parking available. So glad I found a new nail salon that's relatively close to home, clean, and reasonably priced. read more

I sent my friend's teenage daughter to get acrylics. She told me her experience was awful. The nail tech who did her nails was careless and cut her skin and it bled. She said it was a painful experience. Upon leaving, the front desk lady insulted her by saying that her nails were boring because she didn't get designs on her nails. I am a salon owner in California and am shocked that they do not take any accountability and a "sorry but not sorry" attitude. She also mentioned that they nickel & dimed her. There is no Aloha in this place! Shame on them for treating a paying customer this way! read more

High ratings are well-deserved. Tina did my nails and she did great. My nails look neat and the edges are perfect! You can tell she is really good at what she does. Yen did my toes, also looked good and neat. I had to cut the appointment short cuz I have to go somewhere. I will come back another day and I appreciate their flexibility. Tina's Ohana goes over and beyond. Great service. I had a little hiccup before my appt that set me late about 20 to 30 minutes but I was still able to keep my appointment. Although it set the schedule behind Stephanie didn't rush and gave me the best service. I am so satisfied. I am so happy with my service. Full set French and Pedicure. Five stars for sure. read more

Small nail salon in Kapolei (newer area). Very clean with great nail technicians. New chairs, great selection of colors. The downside was that I had an appointment at 12:30, but wasn't in a chair until 1:15. Do make an appointment but maybe expect a wait. Otherwise really great. read more

Found this new nail spot in Kapolei. Tina is the owner and we have the same name! She is very nice and offered me and my Mom water. We both got pedicures. I got the deluxe which came with a massage and sugar scrub with callus treatment. My pedicure was very good! The nail tech spent her time and was very detailed which I appreciated. The products smelled good and the space was clean and well organized. My Mom also got a deluxe pedi and she liked her pedicure. She also got a gel fill done, Tina did them herself and her nails came out really nice. She did an eyebrow wax too and her eyebrows came out nice. They are located in the same shopping center as Foodland and next to the Yi Fang tea shop. read more

I had an amazing experience getting my pedicure by Ruby! She was friendly and welcoming, the salon was clean and relaxing, and her attention to detail was outstanding. Called right after work around 4pm to get a Pedicure fill. They were pleasant on the phone and said they had availability. Upon arrival the receptionist greeted me with a smile and was able to get seen in a matter of 5 mins. The atmosphere was welcoming and I could tell this team works great together. I had such a great experience at Tina's Ohana! The salon is incredibly clean and well-organized! You can tell they truly care about maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment. Kimmie and Rose are very thorough and pay close attention to detail. My nails turned out beautiful, and they made sure everything was perfect before I left. This is my first visit with Kim and she is phenomenally fantabulous!!! I had so much dead skin and cuticles which she carefully removed all!! I couldn't help but kissed my fingers after she was done. First experience here and I really wanted to like this place especially with how highly rated this nail salon is but I left completely disappointed in the work -- despite asking to get a few nails redone in the process and she just let out a big sigh... for them to look the exact same. Work was completely rushed, didn't care about the quality of the French tips because the ends were not completely filled and left with dirty hands because paint was spilling all over the top of the light machine where she placed my hands to rest on - asked to clean it up, all she did was dab on my skin. My mom was satisfied with her pedicure but unfortunately will have to pass and not recommend this place or nail tech. I believe her name is Rose, but I'm hoping the other nail techs put more care into their work. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The first time I came here was in January before my baby shower. I got my a mani, pedi with gel & a eyebrow/lip wax. I was about 36 weeks pregnant during that time and they treated me so well. Just the way a mama at that point in her pregnancy should be treated: the care, the making sure I was comfortable, hydrated and safe. It felt so welcoming from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. I recently just came here and the experience was just as perfect as the first time. If you want great care, experienced nail techs and and overall clean place to relax while your getting your nails done, I highly recommend Tina's Ohana. read more

I recently saw an instagram post featuring this nail salon. I walked in during lunchtime and asked if they had time for a builder gel full set. I waited about 10 minutes and Tina introduced herself and sat me down to do my nails! She was so kind and offered me water to drink. I showed her what I wanted and she did my nails exactly how I asked. Smooth and beautiful builder gel nails! It has taken me a few salons and bad nails to finally find my nail place. Stella did my daughters pedicure and she did my mani and pedi. She had amazing attention to detail and very friendly. She did an excellent job she even went out of her way and fixed my other daughter's nail polish on her toe that was messed up even though she wasn't the nail technician who did that pedicure. Stephanie did my other daughter acrylic nails and they came out exactly how she wanted. She loved Stephanie and her work. Tina did an amazing job and I'm so happy I trusted her to get my nails done. Her salon was clean and welcoming. Price was good too! I got a full acrylic set with cats eye and rhinestone design. I was unfortunately short on time so I couldn't get my pedi done the same day but since i live so close to the salon, coming back the next day isn't a problem. It's hard to find a good place to do nails -- however, I finally found my place in Hawaii! It's Tina's Ohana in Kapolei. I love their services and all the technicians. Honestly, this is the first shop that doesn't tell me what to do -- I actually get what I want. Service. I got Gel builder manicure and Gel deluxe pedicure. It was so nice! They really take care of you. I called in the morning and I was able to get appointment for me and my husband. Once I got there we were offered water and green tea, they took their time on our feet! We needed it! The sugar scrub was great, cooling gel, massage, callus removal, and hot towel -- top tier. They also give you a warm neck wrap......game changer, I was going to fall asleep. I got white toes with the chrome finish. For the manicure, I got the builder gel with a chrome finish. I have been going everywhere, I have not found anyone who does a gel builder -- then I came to Tina's, when I described to them what I was looking for, they knew exactly what I wanted. I love their gel builder line. My technician Rose, she took her time and you can tell she's a perfectionist. She asked me questions every step of the way -- just to make sure it was what I wanted. Rose is so super sweet and she took her time, if you want quality definitely pick her! I didn't feel rushed! She made my experience so much better. read more

Everyone was super nice and easy to talk to , I came in about 3 weeks ago for vacation. They were very full but still willing to accommodate, I did end up being there for a few hours because of how busy they were but they still did my services we good quality and as fast as possible well keeping the quality. Even discounted one of my service because of how long I was there ! I recommend making an appointment and also they let you come 2 week grace period unfortunately I didn't have time to go back and fix a nail but definitely will come back again when I visit Oahu ! read more

My husband and I came for pedicures. My 4 year old daughter got polish on Her hands and toes with a design on her big toe. Ken did my pedicure, it was the best pedicure I've gotten on the island! He took his time, and made sure he didn't miss anything. Tram did my husband's pedicure and he agrees that it was the best one he has received on the island as well! We were greeted at the door with a smile, and everyone was so friendly. As we sat down, we were offered water, and my daughter was given a cake pop... with permission of course. The atmosphere is really relaxing and everything was clean. The heated towels that were used around our legs smelled so fresh and clean! At the last minute I decided to get my eyebrows waxed as well, especially since I saw someone get theirs done first, and hers looked nice. The owner Tina is also very nice and personable. I made an appointment earlier this week for an acrylic full set and "the box" pedicure and was seen as soon as I walked in at 9 am this Sunday morning. Tina did my French tip. Everything about them the shape, the clean lines and manicure itself were amazing! For reasons unknown, my fingers always get all tense throughout the appointment and the tech usually has to remind me to relax my fingers However! The owner of Davi Nails in Kapolei Walmart has opened a brand-new salon in Kapolei (same center as Gina's and Curry House- a total win for me!). The space is spotless, modern, and truly relaxing. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I've been going to their Walmart location for a while, and this was my first visit to the new salon. I was running a little late, and they were so kind and patient. I seriously appreciate their hospitality. Great experience here as a first time customer. Love how neat, organized & clean it is here. They even offer hot tea & water to us customers, I can't name a nail salon besides 1 other salon here in Kapolei that I've been to who has done so. I highly recommend Holly, She is my favorite go to person from a previous salon and still is my go to for lashes, pedicures & manicures. I love and appreciate how very detailed Holly is when it comes to nails, she never disappoints. The staff are nice and friendly so is Tina who is the owner. Stella did my pedicure. She was friendly, polite, efficient and did an outstanding job. She offered me a beverage a couple of times and kept checking to ensure I was comfortable. I appreciated that TIna's Ohana Nails and Spa is careful about hygiene and uses disposable liners in the foot spa. This business is well organized and the staff strive to ensure customers are happy with the service. The gentleman receptionist told me to be careful getting into my car, but if anything happens to my pedicure come back and they will fix it. Excellent customer service! read more

So it's confusing to now see that documentation is being requested publicly. The photo attached to my original review was taken immediately after the service. In that image, you can see that some lashes were not properly isolated and several were not lifted upward evenly. Additionally, the rods were in place for the duration of the 1.5-hour appointment while the facial, dermaplaning, and extractions were being performed. I understand policies exist, but the experience itself, both during the service and in the follow-up communication, is why I felt compelled to leave my review. Clients deserve to feel heard and taken seriously, especially when a medical issue follows a treatment. Ultimately, based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this business.

CINDY is the best!! So much so, I trusted her to do my bridal nails! She always puts such time and care into her work. She files away the sharp bits of excess builder gel from under the nails, flips my hand to get a view of what it looks like from my perspective, and is always so gentle with me. The ladies at Tina's went above and beyond. Kim worked on my 4 year old daughter while Holly took care of me. All of the ladies were super accommodating and kind to my daughter when she fell asleep during her mani. Kim did a flawless job on her mani while sleeping!
