The people are very nice and seem knowledgeable, but I went to them a few years ago when I started gaining weight and became alarmed even though I was weightlifting... I let Dr. Jordan know that I was taking a medication that might be contributing to abdominal weight gain and he signed me up for a 2 part non-surgical treatment over a period of weeks and took before and after photos of my abdomen. This treatment cost $4000 and I didn't see a difference! Even Dr. Jordan seemed quiet at the last appt. when looking at the final photos and said he saw a little improvement. For $4000? I'm really disappointed and that was a lot of money for me to spend but I was desperate. Well I'm trying to be fair on this review. I went here for the ultrasound method for my abdomen area. So we are talking about male with the height of 5,10" and weight of 220 pound and I would like to add that all my extra weight is on my abdomen. I met Dr. Jordan in a consultation meeting and he almost explained the procedure for me and took some before photos. One interesting he is asking all his clients is to go to extreme diet to help loosing weight. Here is the issue which many people never consider: Ultrasonic procedure is considering the noninvasive one in compare with liposuction. However, for none of these procedures, you shouldn't be necessary on diet to loose weight. However, you should change your habit and lifestyle for sure to maintain it but for loosing weight you shouldn't. Actually, the whole reason of doing these procedure is loosing weigh without putting any other effort into it. So what's the difference then? In noninvasive procedures, you shouldn't expect drastic change in the targeted area in most of the cases. So here is exactly the issue. He is not become clear and honest about this part. He is keep saying that it may works for somebody and not works for you!! Well if that's case, we can bring this excuse to almost anybody who didn't see any changes. right? So that's why he is saying you need to have a diet for taking advantage of that for boosting his procedure. This was the first issue I saw there but there are many more to say. the 2nd issue is, He is changing the standard procedure for unknown reason! if you study a bit on the ultrasound cavitation, you will figure it out that everybody talking about the 45 minutes session on the targeted area. What he doing is 20 min (10 min in each side of abdomen) and for the rest, he offers you 10 min of laser which is absolutely BS. That laser is something even not approved by FDA and the only thing it does is heating up the area which they believed it will help to melt them down!!!! So again, I'm not questioning the ultrasound cavitation but questioning his skills and approaching method. The third issue was, I did this procedure for 4 times and every time, there was a new person (assistant) did my procedure and due to their lack of experience and education, I often noticed that they are doing wrong. Also whenever, I was talking with him regarding procedure and why it's not working he was kind of aggressive and try to justify his skills and experience and blame me and my body for not responding properly. At the end, I'm not suggesting his Clinique and his procedure at all. I discontinue my session and canceled my remaining 2 sessions. Also I'm talking with my lawyer for further steps. Dr. Jordon is very knowledgeable about the equipment, the process the body may go through as well as the nutritional aspect of weight reduction and body scuplting. If you are seeking a solution that requires less down time and pain, this procedure is a great alternative. I went through a tummy tuck and the recovery was extremely painful and the down time was at least two weeks before I could move around with caution. If you are considering plastic surgery and you are working, you have to consider how much time you'll be taking away from your job to recover and factor the possible loss of income into the total cost of the procedure. My tummy tuck results were fabulous, but there are pockets of fat and loose skin that were not inmediately apparent after surgery due to the swelling that took two months to subside. These issues are best treated with laser treatments because of the ability to pinpoint and target specific areas painlessly. Dr. Jordan is addressing those areas effectively and with great results. Groupon says it "causes fat to vanish with a beam of light". The lavaro website says "results are seen immediately, fast & painless". What it does not tell you from the beginning is that the program requires 9 to 15 to 24 sessions at a cost of $3000 to $5000 to $9000! It does not tell you that it requires a very restrictive diet, a 10 minute full body vibrating treatment/session, and a 25 min high intensity workout/session in a crumby, little gym. It, also, does not tell you that Dr Jordan Giang (or dr Jordan as he likes to be called) is not a medical doctor but rather a chiropractor who's good at the hard sell but not very receptive to questioning or constructive criticism. read more
