No Sprinkler Service for you!…read more I see their trucks around town all the time, so I decided to give Sam's a try. We had a minor sprinkler repair situation. My husband decided to work from home on the day, three days after we made the appointment. They scheduled for 8am. At 9am, the guy texted to say he was running late. He showed up at 10:15 and took a look. Very quickly said some PVC is broken. It would be $500 to repair and take 3-4 hours. We agreed (at first) and he said someone would start at 11:30. After considering, $500 seemed high. They would have to dig an 18" by 18" hole (which my unskilled husband later did in an hour) and replace or glue a $25 pipe. We asked about the timing and price, offering $300. He said he can't do that and had already booked another job anyhow. I suspect Sam's might be more responsive and professional for bigger jobs. It's too bad. We plan to redo the landscaping, hardscaping, and replace the sidewalks and patio this year. Sam's seemed like a good outfit for the bigger job, so we tried this test run. Because of this subpar experience, we'll be hiring someone else.

When he fertilized my lawn, instead of applying fertilizer only to the grass, he drove the fertilizer spreader all over my new concrete walkways, leaving dozens of ugly rust stains everywhere. I have spent hundreds of dollars on power washing and other attempts to resolve it and such attempts have made the problem worse, so I now have rust + discoloration all over my walkways, which is a major eyesore. It will cost me many thousands of dollars to fix this problem that Dan caused, since I will need to rip out and reinstall 3 new concrete pathways and a giant patio. Dan's response was extremely disappointing, he did not take responsibility and there was 0 concern or effort to fix the problem. I would caution against using Dan if you want someone who is thoughtful and careful on your property. I hope this review will ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Asked to see the parts he replaced also wanted out copper fittings which belong to us and are of value. At this point he looses his control and states I will not show you the parts or receipt for the parts this is how I make my money. He states now your husband has insulted me, and to my surprise he stomps out the front door and states just keep the money. I guess he drives around the block and there he is again at my front door demanding his money. I stated we had every intention in paying you. My question how much is the bill? He had a P.O.# stating charges $632.00 first bill was $586.25. We found charges for parts not used or purchased. We are now without some sprinkler heads, valves as well as drip nozzles seem to be missing. Some heads are crooked not upright whereas the water is not distributing evenly or at all. I will file a complaint with the BBB so the public is aware of his conduct and decietful ways. Prior reviews pretty much show this is a pattern. Do Not Recommend! We are elderly and found this experience to be very concerning and sadly we paid for services not completed and shoddy work.

After it was taken over by weeds and dug up by our schnauzer a few too many times, it was time to do it right. Cody came out for an estimate and design consultation. He is such a great guy who explains how it all works, gives you a reasonable number of options (helpful for me to not have information overload), and gets things moving. And for the work itself, these guys work hard and nonstop when the job begins. They show up on time and work full speed from morning until evening to get the job done. They build the patios in ways that work for Colorado weather, and they actually specialize in pavers, instead of a landscape company that doesn't do these types of patios nonstop. Paver patios are not cheap, but they're also not something you should do on your own unless you absolutely know what you're doing. If you're looking at redoing your outdoor space or patio, you should absolutely give these guys a look.

Our assigned project manager, Jeremy, was friendly and very professional, had insurance and license info ready at hand when asked, produced a reasonable quote, and did great follow up. The work crew, Freddy and Rigo, were absolutely fabulous.... Neatly and properly dressed, super courtesy while quietly working with the least amount of noise possible, never yelling or blasting music or slamming things around, and they were industrious throughout the day despite the 100 degree heat. These guys were very respectful of the property, demonstrated attention to detail in their work: measuring twice, using levels to make the wall perfect, were careful when moving equipment and product, and when using tools/machinery. They also cleaned up the job site... cleaner than when they first arrived! They didn't damage any plants, and left not a trace of their presence. With other companies and contractors, I have found water bottle caps, candy wrappers, cigarette butts, trampled flowers, bark kicked out on sidewalks, manufacturer stickers/labels laying around from products used or installed, nails or stains left on various surfaces; but this crew of Little Guy Pavers was just the opposite, and just excellent! As soon as we reached out to Ray, he answered us SAME DAY! We were so grateful! We sent Ray a few photos and he quickly quoted us a fair price and scheduled a quick clean up. Our yard was in ROUGH shape, and Ray fixed it up better than it was when we moved into the place. He was meticulous and thorough, and he exceeded my expectations! Our yard is tough - all rocks and mulch and big bushes and weeds - but he really knew what he was doing and got it looking nice! He also hauled everything away, which was nice. Now I'm not embarrassed about the way our yard looks! We really appreciate Ray. I would 10/10 recommend Walker Lawn Service and will absolutely have him back!
