They are fast and on time for service call and fixable on price. We will use them again.

We are new to the DFW area. We contacted Lawrence Air Conditioning because they had previously serviced the AC at the home we purchased. They have been a pleasure to work with and extremely professional. I've requested their service three times since we moved in. Once for an assessment, once fir a problem and today to move forward with two of their recommendations. Their crew were great guys, polite, respectful and very neat and clean. Every area that they had to walk on was covered and vacuumed when they left. We had a crew of four and all were excellent. The main point of contact for us is Cory. He does all the tech evaluation, assesses the problem and fixes on site unless it needs equipment that needs to be ordered and replaced. Cory checked in three times today, once in person. Lawrence Air Conditioning is a great company to go with for anything HVAC related. They are a small family owned company and believe in honesty and it shows with everyone from the owner to the techs that came and installed our new AC unit. Their prices are very good compared to the other quotes I received. When I called and told them I was ready to get the new AC installed they were able to fit me in the next day which was awesome as it is the middle of summer. All the installers where very professional, they laid down drop cloths and then vacuumed when they were done too. If we had any questions during the process they were great at stopping what they were doing and taking there time to answer questions. Because of an unnecessary ordeal, I reached out to this company for help. Two other HVAC companies had come out and provided no resolution or explanation for my furnace leaking water. John was the first technician to actually open the furnace and look inside of it to try and find why there was a leak. He was honest about not knowing exactly what was wrong but he made an effort to figure it out. He ended up lifting one side of the unit almost three inches because of the slope it was on. (The unit should be level.) He also installed a Ptrap on the backup drain. And to top it off, he told me to wait and see if the unit kept leaking before paying in case he has to come out again. If you knew how much work it was just to get someone to open the dang panel, you would give this company five stars too! Thank you, John!!! Update: no leaking since Friday when he leveled it and it's now Sunday early evening. Went up in the attic and the pan is dry for the first time in months! read more

When I decided to replace our entire unit, I knew where to purchase. Dan came out right away to offer a reasonable quote and his team came as scheduled within the next few days. I can't say enough about the energetic and respectful team (JT, Frank, Rosco and Josh) that worked non-stop to complete the job in under 5 hours. I would not recommend off my experience. I tried renting a home, they had to come 3 times to fix AC, with no resolution. They must have been unaware that in my home, I had cameras. I heard the tech today tell them because I bought a merv 12 filter that's why the AC wasn't working. EVEN though the filter looked like it was never changed when I moved in. He had to pull gook out of the AC on inside and clean the AC on the outside with a hose the first time. Second time was moisture filling causing cooler to stop and they had to make a bigger moisture cup using pvc. Drum roll... because now the third trip is my fault!! Just because I changed the filter and the merv level was to high. I've never had an issue with a merv being to high before but when a company doesn't want to own their on negligence they must point their dirty finger at me. The person whose been suffering. He also continued to show the landlord my texts, talk crap about me, and how he tried to come Saturday night which he did not. He told me he was out to eat with his family and would send someone Sunday. I have the text!!! So... the tech lied and blamed me for the old and neglected AC unit freezing, even though this was there third time coming to fix AC and every time they came, they were repairing something different. Seem right to you? I had to endure 90+ temps for a week, with all 3 of my dog, who are all seniors. My experience with this company was awful and again I would not recommend!!! The only company I will use! They fixed my AC 3 years ago for a very reasonable price. Then last week my boyfriend called another company to come out to tune up our AC they told us we needed a whole new unit for $12,000. I said absolutely not and found the old business card I still had from Lawrence AC. They came out tuned up our AC and added Freon and it runs awesome now! This company is great! I found out it's a small family owned business, which makes me like it even more. The technicians are so personable and professional, willing to really diagnose the problem and provide an affordable solution. I had a terrible experience with an AC company trying to get me to pay 3k in repairs and/ or replace my unit even though it was working just fine. This company came out to look at my unit, stating it worked just fine and none of the said repairs were necessary. Lawrence is so open and honest with their customers. They never price gauge or engage in unethical practices. I would highly recommend. read more

Lawrence AC is a local company I thought I would give a try. But unless you have $5k or more in your pocket or on a credit card they will not do business with you. I filled out the financing form located on their website and was approved for $1200. I was told I could only finance if it were $5k worth of repairs or more. I don't understand. I was approved by Wells Fargo so if you are approved you are approved is what I thought but Robin the guy I spoke with said otherwise. There is no mention of a $ amount needed to meet but unfortunately this company is not recommended and sadly wasn't willing to take my finance approval. read more

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Awesome! After being quoted over $2,500.00 from the company that installed my two new units (plus a $97 service call) I called Lawrence to get a second opinion. They did not charge me for the service call and diagnosed my problem in 20 minutes (compared to 2 hours time for the TWO men that came out from the other company). The parts were under warranty and I didn't understand why the first quote from the other company was so HIGH. They were charging me double the price for the freon gas. They also stated that they pay their employees more than the other local companies. LAWRENCE BEAT THEIR BID BY LESS THAN HALF!!!! They are very professional and really care about their customers and don't try to gouge you. I Highly Recommend. Give them a call to get a second opinion before you have any work done. I made an appointment for 2 houses to be serviced and I was worried this would be a small fortune. IT WAS NOT! Isaac came out and was extremely kind and courteous and knowledgeable. He came right in and diagnosed some issues while servicing both a/c units and took no time at all to get both squared away. His customer service is top notch! These folks are amazing!!! We'd been using another company via home warranty, and were still having problem after problem. We called Lawrence and they came to check it out that day, and after 20 minutes, identified the problem that the other guys couldn't find in a month. Just wanted to thank the people at Lawrence HVAC My AC went out while I was out of town and my daughter was watching the house. They where out first thing in the morning - replace my 17 yr old "builder grade" unit gave me credit for a service call they made on the unit from 6 months ago. I could have not asked for better service. My AC went out late Sunday evening and I called them first thing Monday morning. Dan was so very nice and was at my house in less than 30 minutes. He checked out the issue, had the part to repair on his truck and my unit was cooling the house all before 9am. Beth at the office was wonderful to work with for the payment. I just can't thank these guys enough for coming to my aid when my a/c quit working which is a nightmare here in Texas, lol. Called them at 8am and they were here at 10am. They thoroughly checked out the system and instead of trying to sell me an oversized overpriced new unit they replaced the motor and recharged the freon which is all I needed. I've had several repairmen out here over the 17 years I've owned my home and by far Lawrence was the best. They only fixed what was needed at a VERY reasonable price. Only took an hour for the two visits they made today and I'm living it up in sweet cold air once again. I really appreciate their professionalism, efficiency, and above all else their honesty. We had an issue with one of our HVAC dampers, and we were calling around to get quotes from various different companies. Lawrence Air Conditioning and Heating was just one of the companies that we called. When I spoke to them initially, they never mentioned that there would be a service call fee. Because some of the other companies that we called to come out didn't charge a service call fee, we assumed that they didn't charge either since they never mentioned it. When I spoke to the lady answering the phone once more about the invoice to let her know that we were never told that they would be charging a fee for a service call, she angrily stated, "Did you think it was supposed to be free?", I stated that there were some companies that did not charge, she then stated, "Well...we're not one of those companies". I really don't think this part of the conversation was necessary, and I believe that a business should be transparent from the start, and not try strong arm you at the very end. read more
