Wow. I can't say enough good things about this company. We have used them for over a year now. Met them through our home warranty. And the amount of compassion this husband and wife duo have is unreal in this day and age. From answering after hour texts, giving updates and words of understand, to FaceTiming my husband to trouble shoot out unit to see if it would be an easy fix. Then after spending two hours in the Texas heat with a 10plus degree heat index Augie worked on our AC unit then tried to not charge us because it was such an inconvenience TO US. What do you mean. We of course paid him for his time. But I've never heard of or met a HVAC vendor that just cares that much. We will never use anyone else again. Thank you Going Green. Ahs sent them to fix the heater which was not working. But AC was working fine. He came fixed the heater and two days later it got warm and the AC started blowing hot air till it reached 90'F. Now they claim this is a different issue and needs a new claim. A different issue caused by the same tech who fixed the heater. Very " competent " techs they got. Don't recommend this company. Ridiculous! p.s An upday as of 05/01/26 - 3rd time hvac ging bad with exact same issue as this very "competent" person who came first time worked on it and exact same issue. A few day later they sent another company he fixed the ac ( which the thsi compani failed to fix) and now the thermostat si completely dead again ( exact same issue they came first time for) . Unbelievable. When I mess something up I go and ix it for free. BEcause f their $150 average per job through American Home shield they wanted a second claim for second visit so they dont have their mess up for free. Do you know who works for AHS ? - contractors who dont have enpough private clientele andmust take cals from AHS and SCAM clients ) that s what AHS does, so they ( the vendor) can stay in bsiness. This was the first company I worked with - AHS - 2 years ago, till started gettin enough private customers. I called AHS once to cmplain from them, and I ll do it a second time. Our A/C went out today. This is the worst that can happen on a Saturday afternoon when it's +95 degrees. Called American Home Shield (AHS) that assigned us a company that was not available until Monday afternoon. Called AHS back and fortunately they sent Going Green Heating & Air! They are closed Saturday afternoon, but I got a call from Darla who assured me their technician was in Keller and would be our next appointment. Audy arrived at 4P and assessed the situation and had our A/C up and running by 4:30P. Audy's expertise is much appreciated!!!! Our house is cooling as we speak. If we have any other A/C problems, we will definitely request/hire Going Green. We highly recommend Going Green! read more

AC went out on a home we purchased less than 2 years ago. Unfortunately we needed to replace the unit. Going Green while not the cheapest option got me a top of the line unit and was able to get the replacement done in about 5 hours once the repairs started. If you prefer quality of service and peace of mind over shoddy work and a cheap price these are the people to call. Made a claim with American home shield on 7/28. "Fixed" on 7/29 after needing a part to fix it. The part was received super fast. We were good until today 9/13 and we'll it's just blowing hot air after replacing the Freon already. I called them back and was told to call American home shield again were I am now having to pay again. They only guarantee work for 30 days in Texas! Good to know. I hope to god they don't send this company again. read more

Very impressed! My Home Warranty company referred me to Going Green, and no sooner did I hang up from the Warranty company to Going Green was calling to set up the appointment. They gave me a large window of time, but also a 30 minute warning call, so I didn't have to sit around and wait. Audie showed up to check out my unit. He is clearly part air conditioner tech, part plumber, and part electrician. A prior air conditioning company (that I will no longer be using), had done their annual service but had said I needed to replace the entire unit!!! Audie just had to blow out a pipe that had caused it to trip, add some coolant, and it worked!!! Professional AND honest! I'll definitely be using them for my annual checkups from here on out! read more

I called on a Thursday, we could have been seen that afternoon, but due to my own schedule I had to wait until Friday afternoon. My time slot was 1-5, but our technician, Kyle, arrived by 1:15. He quickly assessed the issues with our A/C unit, and determined that we had a bad TXV valve, which he found was under warranty. When he initially told me it could be hard to get the part or return to repair until Tuesday, my husband and I were somewhat panicked as we have people coming for Memorial Day and a planned trip. Kyle went out of his way to get the part Friday and returned today, Saturday, to make sure our unit was repaired and our plans could go forward. He went above and beyond to help us out. I've used this company 3 times now and they are my go-to HVAC company. The first time I was referred to them was when I had a very high quote from another "big" company. I called Going Green and asked what they would charge for the same job. It was replacing a coil and they saved me about $500 and didn't push a whole new system on me. Then the second time when I called, they were available for same day service. The "big" company couldn't come out until after the weekend. I think you have an honest company with honest employees who don't over charge. What else can you ask for? read more

I'm totally satisfied with the work going green did on my air-conditioning system two different times because of the age of the system. The last time the technician found a pinhole in the supply line with Freon and if he hadn't found that I probably would've burned up the compressor. The only reason they didn't get five stars is because they didn't pay for the repair. :) they did top-notch work and worked with my American home service company to do it. The most honest and forthright HVAC company we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, including a quick response, wonderful service and fast turnaround provided by their office. They were sent by AHS to provide a second opinion after another company (evidently falsely) claimed that a major part of one of our nearly brand new units needed to be replaced, incurring all sorts of out-of-pocket costs to us. Augie arrived exactly on time, quickly diagnosed and repaired what was merely a leak in the part and got us up and running within an hour. No out-of-pocket; we were only charged to replace the freon that had leaked out. I am recommending him and his company to everyone I know. We will never call anyone else. read more

Let me start by saying that I am not an AC person. With that being disclosed, I had my outside unit replaced through Going Green and American Home Shield about 3 years ago. Fast forward to 5-17-17...my AC has gone out in our house again. The outside compressor has burnt up and does not work. We had a different AC company come out to take a look and found where our problem lies. Our unit in the attic is a 410a and the unit outside was replaced with an R22. The company that came out let me know that using an R22 with a 410a will most definitely ruin the unit. I called Going Green and spoke to a service manager and he told me that setup was totally acceptable and would not cause any issues. So I asked again if R22 and 410a are compatible and now his reply is he would not recommend it. This is all within a 15 minute phone call. He also told me that anyone who says that the systems are not compatible is just trying to tarnish Going Green's name or they don't know what they are talking about. I took it upon myself to talk to 3 other AC companies, one was at my job working on the ac here, and they all agreed that anyone who combines these two systems should not being installing AC units or working on them. Bottom line, this company will "take care" of your issue, but when I craps out because of a faulty installation, they WILL NOT stand behind their work. Do yourself a favor and do some research before deciding on a company for your ac needs. I was not given that luxury due to having all of this crap running through American Home Shield. read more
