I had to do some errands while at the mall and saw that this new store, Muto Design opened, right next to Royce Chocolate. The store is on the smaller side, but it was nice to check out the different merch they sell here, ranging from smaller items, such as pins and key chains to sake sets and pots. I would say that if there's someone in your life who loves Japanese items or trends, Muto Design store is a great place for getting said person a gift from here. Although it's not the largest selection, they have specialized and unique items that'll make you smile. Glad to have checked it out - and that there's a home for it in Bellevue.

Here is the timeline of their incompetence: - Failure 1 (February): The initial electronic refund failed immediately. - Failure 2 (March): Without my permission, they tried to issue an e-merchandise gift card instead of a cash refund, which I had to force them to void. - Failure 3 (April): After I complained and left a poor review, they promised to mail a refund check via USPS. - Failure 4 (May): The first check never arrived. - Failure 5 (May 24): When issuing a replacement check, Customer Care apologized because the first one was voided due to an "incorrect address"--the exact same address they successfully used for the original delivery and order. It has been over 90 days, and I am still fighting for my money. They have failed to process a refund electronically, through a gift card, and through two attempts at mailing a check. Do not trust their customer service or refund process. This experience has been a complete nightmare.

Although we mainly window shopped and just browsed around, I couldn't help but fall in love with all the lovely aesthetics. There were meats, cheeses, wine, cute little household goods, art pieces, oh my! I also noticed a few familiar names like Sitka and Spruce, a popular restaurant that I stumbled upon while researching 'must eat' spots in Seattle. I wish we had more time to look around. We didn't get to go upstairs, but I'll just have to plan for that on my next visit to Seattle. It's just down the street from the Starbucks Reserve and an easy add-on to any itinerary.
