No matter when, or where, I go, the item I want is out of stock in the size I need. I really am drawn to their novelty tees. Each time I am in here I always check them out in hopes to find one to add to my rotation. This stop they had a bunch that I liked, but after searching through everything there, not in my size, as I mentioned above. The selection of other items is great here, but not always what I'm looking for. If I wanted single color matching outfits, this is a great place to pick that up. However, that was not what I was in the mood for this time. Would definitely stop back in here if I am in the area again, but with more and more of these popping up there are locations closer to me.

I finally was able to visit and it was quite insane!! I had vivid memories of the teen/adult clothing stores that were open decades ago at Dulles Town Center. It's like fast fashion meets Rave, Charlotte Russe and H&M. Great idea bringing this to a busy mall with a lot of foot traffic. They carry so many items at decent/affordable prices. I can see why it was so hyped up. Shoes, jeans, tops---for men, women and kids. There were also miscellaneous items such as water bottles, suitcases, home deco, etc. There were 2 whole floors of items!! I didn't purchase anything, but I did eye stuff for my next visit. I love the self-checkout section. There was a barcode scanner upon exit. They are located on the opposite side of the 3-floor section of the mall. There is an entrance from outside the mall as well as inside. Would I return? for sure

I happened along the Tailored Man through a simple google search about 8 weeks before my recent…read morewedding. I was seeking a custom tuxedo to match the wedding experience my wife and I were planning, and I've only rented tuxedos before. I met Brett at the shop and immediately felt like I was being taken care of through his insightful questions, great candor, honest guidance, and exemplary expertise. Honestly, I came in a bit green to the experience and Brett really took the time to educate me without any impatience, sharing his depth of knowledge to guide me toward the finest dress clothes I've ever owned in my time. I ended up with two custom tuxedo outfits at a competitive price, an outfit change before my dinner reception that had my friends questioning who I was and how I managed to look so sharp. I received countless compliments and kind words from many for how I showed up, and how polished I looked. We had a few small challenges that ran to the wire, as it can happen. It was how Brett resolved them and the certainty by which he delivered on my needs which was truly exemplary. He made sure everything fit and worked perfectly, personally dropped my clothes off at my house, and had one set shipped to me the day before the wedding. He came through, and made it easy for me to trust that he would. I'll be a customer of the Tailored Man for a long time, and alas I won't be able to revert back to a standard look easily now that I've been spoiled by this quality and experience. I'm happy to have a tailor now, and want to thank Brett always for helping me show up at my best, on my best day.

I've tried made-to-measure programs all over the country--from California to New York--and I can…read morehonestly say this is the best made-to-measure suit I've ever had made. What sets this experience apart is that you're not working with someone who is simply selling suits. You're working with someone who genuinely understands classic menswear, tailoring, and proportion, and who has an excellent tailor on the premises. That combination is incredibly rare. In my experience, many made-to-measure programs are primarily sales-driven. The person taking your measurements may be very personable, but often doesn't have a deep understanding of garment construction, fit, or how to modify a pattern to achieve a specific look. This experience was completely different. Every detail was discussed thoughtfully, and there was never any hesitation when I wanted to customize the pattern. Whether it was the lapel shape, shoulder expression, button stance, sleeve pitch, trouser cut, or other details, every request was taken seriously and executed exactly as I envisioned. I'm probably one of the pickiest clients anyone could have when it comes to tailoring. I have extremely high expectations for fit, and I've even had made-to-measure programs tell me they couldn't produce the result I was looking for because my standards were beyond what they felt comfortable promising. This time, the suit arrived exactly as I wanted it. Remarkably, I didn't need a single alteration. That has never happened to me before. Even if price weren't part of the equation, I would still consider this the best suit I've had made through any made-to-measure program. The level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, willingness to customize, and overall knowledge of menswear is exceptional. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about making the best possible garment--not just making a sale--I recommend him without hesitation. I'll absolutely be back for future commissions.

This was for our wedding -- the most important day of our lives -- and he made sure my fiancé felt completely taken care of every step of the way. Allen has an incredible eye for detail and perfection. Unlike other places we visited (SuitSupply, Indochino, and others) where the service felt rushed and impersonal, Allen gave us his full attention. He made my fiancé feel comfortable, confident, and like a superstar even during the fitting process. If you're looking for someone who truly knows their craft and will treat you like family, we cannot recommend Allen at Hive & Colony enough. When you're purchasing a custom tux or suit for a special occasion, you want him by your side. Thank you, Allen -- you made this important moment even more special for us!

When it comes to specialty stores at malls, the review pretty much boils down to the quality of the…read moreshopping experience. Now, I am a self-confessed fashion retard. Unlike some of the Yelp fashion Elites, I can barely spend a minute at a clothing store without making a bad purchase. I even have a section in my wardrobe dedicated to clothes I have never worn. This information isn't probably germane to this review, but I wanted to put it out there anyway. PM me if you can be my fashion assistant. The only reason I walked in this store was the directory at the mall. I was looking for leather shoes, and according to the directory, they had shoes. After being greeted by the very friendly Bangladeshi store clerk, I exchanged some friendly banter with her and asked her to help me make a decision on my next pair of work shoes. Pickup artists would say she was a 'hired gun', and she did mention how a lot of times guys would walk in, short talk with her, and then try to get her number. It's all good, though, because she knew what she was doing. So, anyway, what I loved about this place was the well arranged selection of formal wear, the helpful people, and the cheap prices. I ended up getting a fairly good looking city coat. I needed one. Quality is a subjective term, and it probably wouldn't be a part of my collection for more than a year or two, but I enjoyed shopping here. The clerk helped me try on different sizes and styles, and then took a couple measurements to get some alterations done. They seemed to have a lot of formal menswear, and I was told that shoes wasn't something they focused heavily on, especially in-store. Although I was eligible to get half off on shoes just because I spent money on the coat, I decided to put off my purchase until later. Overall, a pretty good experience. I enjoyed the personal attention and the fact that it wasn't crowded at all.
