When I called prior to selecting him, this was a question I asked and was assured that they had appointments late and on weekends. Somehow that changed after we joined. We were with them for 4 years and I saw the orthodontist twice in those four years. When I would ask to speak with the orthodontist about my daughter's treatment in was told Dr. LEWIS had stepped out. I even made it a point to get there an hourly early to discuss my daughter's treatment. But then I was told by the office manager that I had to make an appointment. And according to my daughter she never saw the orthodontist either. Lewis Orthodontist would schedule my daughter's appointment for 8 am and we would end up waiting till noon till they took her back . I finally had enough, called my insurance company asked for the EOB, and I saw them at Lewis was charging for visits that we never had, and treatments she never had. So I notified my insurance company, and they gave me a name of a wonderful orthodontist who was kind enough to take on my daughter without getting paid due to my insurance would not cover for any more braces. But with me fighting and getting a bunch of people who have experienced the same issue with this clinic we were able to get to get our insurance companies their money back. We got the state to come in and investigate. And Lewis was forced to sell. Our new orthodontist ended up getting paid, for the work he did correcting the mess that this place did. And in less than a year my daughter has prefect straight teeth. No thanks to this horrible place. May this fraud find peace in prison for insurance fraud.

I had 4 years of braces years ago when the practice was only Dr. Parker. I had a severe overbite…read morethat required correction, therefore I had braces from middle school into high school. Dr. Parker was nice but unfortunately in those 4 years he never addressed the downstream impact on the lower jaw when correcting a severe overbite. As an adult my lower jaw is too narrow and my chin receded in comparison to my upper jaw. He aligned my teeth and pulled back the upper row to lessen the overbite, but did nothing to adjust/widen my lower jaw and pull it forward while my mouth was still growing. Because of this my tongue now fills up too much of my mouth which pushes on my lower row of teeth and causes me to stumble over words when trying to speak - almost as if my tongue is in the way when forming words. Hopefully Dr. Parker & Streem now do a comprehensive adjustment with braces in order to give you (or your child) a balanced smile and facial symmetry. Be sure to ask thorough questions on how they balance the face along with correcting the teeth. On my end I am now researching Orthognathic Surgeons to cut my jaw, move it forward, and secure it with screws to correct my tooth, tongue, chin, and jaw issues as an adult.
