This place came recommended to me by my dentist at Hudec Dental in Broadview Hts. and this place…read morewas the best decision I made to bring my daughter to have braces put on. We came right before her xmas break and was more than pleased. This place is extremely kid-friendly and high tech. The staff was in the holiday spirit and were dressed up with crazy xmas sweaters and pajamas on. This place is a breath of fresh air. The staff was great and my daughter was at ease. Papandreas has numerous incentive programs that encourages good oral hygiene. They offer convenient options if your child needs an adjustment by coming to your child's school for a quick touch up if needed. It is obvious the staff cares and the money that the client spends on braces or other services is put back into their business. We're talking state of the art equipment and even iPads to entertain the kids while they're waiting. The orthodontist was amazing and answered any and all questions we had. The staff also made sure we left feeling completely satisfied with our decision and made sure we left with all of our questions and concerns fully addressed. I've never felt so welcome at an orthodontist's office before, much better than the place I went to when I was a kid. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place and if you are considering braces for your child or yourself, check it out. My daughter is looking forward to her next appointment so she can choose a new set of colorful bands to go on her braces. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next time. Who knows maybe something green for St. Patrick's Day??? :)

1 Star -- Extremely frustrating experience…read more I am honestly extremely upset with this experience. Before making an appointment with papandreas Orthodontics, I called specifically to ask if they accepted my Humana insurance. The woman on the phone told me, very cheerfully, that yes, they accepted it. I trusted what I was told and made the appointment. I then drove TWO HOURS to get there. When I finally arrived, I couldn't even easily find the office because the building is incredibly crowded and confusing, with nail salons, restaurants, and multiple businesses all around the same area. After finally finding the orthodontist, I was given paperwork to fill out. While I was filling it out, the same woman I had spoken to on the phone looked at my insurance card and suddenly said, "Oh, this is Humana. We don't take that here." Excuse me?! I literally called beforehand and specifically asked if you accepted Humana. I even asked her if she was the person I had spoken to on the phone, and she said yes. I reminded her that I had asked about my insurance before driving all the way there, and she basically told me that she thought they accepted it. That is absolutely ridiculous. Why tell someone you accept their insurance when you don't? If there was any uncertainty about my insurance, I should have been told that BEFORE I made the appointment and drove two hours. I wasted four hours of driving time round trip, plus gas, because I was given incorrect information over the phone. The whole experience was incredibly frustrating, and I definitely would not recommend this office based on how my situation was handled. Please double-check your insurance before making the trip, because apparently being told over the phone that they accept it isn't enough.

Review for Sher Smiles Orthodontics and Periodontics (Dr. Deena Sher)…read more (If we could give zero stars, we would.) I, Dr. Howard Friedman MD regret having to write this, but my wife, Ibojka Friedman's experience at Sher Smiles was profoundly disappointing--particularly because it wasn't the dental care itself that left a bad taste, but the deceptive and unethical billing practices. Dr. Deena Sher evaluated what was clearly a minor, benign mouth lesion. The initial consultation was nearly $200, which we expected. What we did not expect was an additional $600 fee to "prepare" the lesion for outside pathology review--on top of whatever the external lab charged (which was not included in their estimate). That brought a simple, benign oral cyst to a cost of over $1,000, despite our dental insurance. The most troubling issue is that Sher Smiles chose not to submit the pathology charges to our insurance. Why? Because it didn't benefit their bottom line--just ours. That decision was made without our input or consent. When you're facing a potential health issue, you want transparency and trust. What we got instead was a surprise bill and a sense that profit took precedence over patient care. A benign diagnosis came at a premium price--and Sher Smiles made sure we bore the full burden. That's not just disappointing. It's unethical. We would not recommend this office to anyone seeking honest, compassionate care. Buyer beware.

From as far…read moreback as I can remember, they had an office location the intersection of Pearl and Ridge Road back in the day. They bought this office located in Parma Heights since and that's where I have been going. I got my braces done at Bright Now back in 2008 and my teeth has been beautiful since then! They say your teeth lasts a lifetime and I am super happy my parents recognized that!! Dr. B, from the Ortho side, is so nice and he explains all that he needs accomplish during every ortho visit. Thank you for giving me this beautiful smile!! From a general bi-yearly cleaning side, I absolutely enjoy seeing my dental hygienist Becky. She is so sweet and is very thorough with my cleanings. Becky explains what she needs done, so I am aware of what is going on during my visit. I have been her patient the past few years and I think she's the best one there! And we can't leave out Dr. Rico! Dr. Rico is always so happy and genuine when I speak with him. He makes the 6 minute interaction I have with him feel personalized and that's hard to find out there! Since Covid-19 hit, Bright Now! Dental has made some changes to their waiting room and patient procedures. My temperature was taken upon walking in, all patients are required to wear a mask in the premise of the dental office, chairs were socially distant, and the waiting room had 1 other person in there with me! The place smelled so clean, it felt like there was an invisible barrier between the entry way so germs couldn't enter haha! Bright Now! is definitely taking the precautionary measures to keep their employees and patients safe!

Very disappointing experience. I took my son to his 1:30 PM dentist appointment, and we waited in…read morethe office until 2:30 PM without being seen. After an hour, someone from the office finally called to say they were ready to see him. At that point, I explained that I had to leave because I needed to pick up my daughter from school. Instead of apologizing or showing any concern about the hour-long delay, the response I received was simply, "I'll let them know." I understand that dental offices can run behind schedule, but an hour-long wait with little communication, followed by such an indifferent response, is unacceptable. A simple apology and some basic consideration for a patient's time would have made a difference. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and professionalism has caused me to lose confidence in this office. I will be taking my children's dental care elsewhere.
