I wanted to make sure that I wrote a review regarding Dr. Osman and his fantastic staff. I recently had a pretty involved and complex procedure done. I am SO SO happy with the results and it's only been a little over a week since surgery. Dr. Osman is tremendously thorough and a true professional. You can tell when you meet him that he genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being. He also delivers great results!!! Leading up to my procedure he took a great deal of time explaining what to expect. He definitely went the extra mile to make me feel informed, and to make sure there were no surprises. I have has multiple IPL's as well as other laser treatments and have always had numbing. she did it and the fact it didn't hurt at all made me feel like it wasn't going to do anything. Dr Osman is great, but I'm disappointed that I've disappeared from their system after 5 years. I really wanted to continue the work we had done on my skin issues that we'd started pre-Covid, but I'm not in the system. Visited the doctor today for skin issues. I went in as a new patient. Loved the service that was offered, from receiving the forms ahead of time to fill them out and save time, to prompt and courteous service in the office. The doctor is very considerate, pleasant, and helpful. None of the office members tried to sell me services that most dermatology offices do. I have been seeing Dr. Osman and his staff for over 12 years, and I couldn't give higher praises for him, the nurse practitioner Sherry Sanvictores, esthetician Kaitlin and his office staff. Dr. Osman has treated myself (and various family members) for my allergic skin issues (including over 100 mosquito bites from a Costa Rica Amazon trip, allergic hives, etc.), hormonal blemishes on my chin in my late 30's, facials (given by the lovely esthetician), and even for occasional cosmetic rejuvenation treatments. Dr. Osman has always been helpful, patient and kind. He talks with a soothing, gentle voice and is quite conservative, yet knowledgeable in his work. He also takes the time to give me explanations, if I have any questions, and I always have many. Still, the doctor is always a great listener and offers helpful advice, never rushes me and always keeps a smile on his face. Regarding the lovely and personable nurse practitioner Sherry, I went to see her a couple of months ago for possible botox and filler, since I'll be 48 in June. She put a little botox in my crow's feet/eye area, and she told me that I didn't need any filler because my cheekbones look great as they are. I did have filler over a year ago (maybe 1 1/2 yrs.) by Dr. Osman, but I left without doing it this last time. As Sherry said, it was not necessary, even after all this time. She was right! This goes to show how conservative and trustworthy Sherry and Dr. Osman both are. They are the most concerned with their patient's health, skin and overall happiness. I am a very selective person, especially with my doctors, but I trust Dr. Osman and his staff explicitly. My own father (who just retired and was a private practice physician for 50 years) was the one who originally recommended Dr. Osman to me, when I had an allergic reaction. If that doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what does. I highly recommend Dr. Osman to anyone seeking help with dermatologic, facial aesthetics or skincare! read more

Dr. Osman and his team are awesome. They care about their patients. Been going to them for years for any skin concerns. I got off my PPO plan in 2020 to save $$ premiums for my health insurance and unlike other doctors offices, they didn't refuse to see me. I did pay full price for my visit but they still processed my prescription and were still very helpful bec they have my medical history. They call to check and update. Shout out to Melodi who took care of facilitating processing my prescription. Dr. Osman is also very helpful and has such a calm and soothing voice, make you not worry so much. Dr. Osman is kind, patient with his patients, and professional. My father is 81 years old and keeps getting unknown skin growth that turns out to be cancerous. As his Daughter and his hypnotherapist, I accompanied him during his procedure to keep him calm and relaxed. Dr. Osman and his staff were friendly and addressed all of our concerns with detailed answers. The procedure was done painlessly and super fast, I mean it took a while, but we didn't feel the time passing. I was allowed to video record the procedure for my record and thought to post it on his yelp to share his superior experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Osman and his staff. I had been thinking of seeing a dermatologist for a while now, both for my acne and because of my interest in a couple cosmetic procedures. After doing a little research, I came across Dr. Osman's practice in Woodland Hills. Noting the positive reviews I kept encountering, I decided to make an appointment. On the day of the appointment (Thursday) I went to the medical complex that housed Dr. Osman's office. After a short wait in the reception area (I had already filled out the patient info form I downloaded from the website - good idea, by the way) I was taken to a room to see Dr. Osman. When he came I asked him about a few things: possible treatment alternatives for my acne and a number of cosmetic procedures. He answered all my questions without talking down to me (big plus). He recommended a prescription acne product and offered to inject cortisone in a spot of cystic acne that was troubling me (I accepted and it resolved itself in two days). I was impressed by Dr. Osman's knowledge, professionalism and general friendliness. I will definitely be seeing him again in the future. read more

Just a terrible, terrible office with staff that will treat you like garbage. First visit with my sons for acne treatment Osman never even came into the room, sent his nurse practitioner. The office staff told us, "Your insurance covers a facial for each of your sons at no out of pocket to you, it will help with their acne." After going for the facials we got billed a couple hundred bucks and had to jump through hoops to get charges reduced (not eliminated as they said). Today was the final straw. Sat in the exam room for 58 minutes with no nurse or doctor visiting the room. Office staff sitting around yakking about lunch and going to workout. Finally just walked out and told them to dump our file, will never go back. Osman may know dermatology but we wouldn't know since we never got to see him and his office staff is so terrible that I'd rather live my life with boils all over my body than subject myself to visiting that office. read more

There were no long waits; I barely had time to pull out my book before the doctor came in. The procedure I had was a minor one, and Dr Osman preformed it quickly and painlessly. Dr Osman performed a body check fairly fast . He then decided to remove two moles that looked like all the other freckles and miles in my body . I Questioned that and he said that they should be checked . I Pointed to a mole that looked different and he paused and said " mmm ok " the biopsy resulted in a cancer mole with the one I suggested he biopsy, And the 2 others were negative . I went to another dermatologist for the surgery and he found another mole ( basal cell carcinoma) on my back that had been neglected due to the poor examination. Would not recommend that a doctor. read more

I have been going to Dr. Osman for about 15 years and before that I was a patient of his father! His calm demeanor is always so reassuring. I am almost sad when I leave and he tells me I don't need a follow up, because that means I don't get to see him again for a while. I went to Dr. Osman a few times since 2008. The service was satisfactory. However, I moved in 2013 and apparently the address and phone number did not get updated properly during my last visit in 2017. This resulted in not receiving a bill that my insurance did not cover, unbeknown to me, until a collection agency reached me at my new address early 2020. I paid this bill, plus interest, immediately. I contacted Dr. Osman's account manager about removing the collection item from my credit records since this was an honest mistake as I had just sent my child there for a couple of consultations in 2020. She was unsympathetic to my situation, which is a $100,000 hit on a loan that my family is applying for. They could fix it if they wanted to, but they have refused to do so. read more

Way overbooked. I have been to this office over 12 times and almost every single time I had to wait more than 30 minutes to see the doctor. I had to keep coming back because we had started accutane so I just put up with his overbooked office. But not only is he overbooked, he is not that good of a dermatologist. He primarily shoots from the hip, which means your treatment isn't personalized at all. For acne he simply prescribes the basic benzoyl peroxide. There are also no convenient appointment times that aren't months away. The problem is this there are only so many dermatologists in the valley. I recommend driving further to see a better derm in Westwood or encino- this is your skin after all! read more

Dr. Osman and staff couldn't have made today's visit any more comfortable if they tried. I needed a procedure to get rid of a basil cancer cells from my nose. They walked me through each phase of what they were doing and got me from getting nervous. It took 4 hours to complete including stitches. I'm grateful that all went well. I would give his score a 99 (no one gets a 100 ) and certainly will see him as needed . read more

I had a questionable cystic pimple on my forehead which was unusual but I was referred to Dr. Osman by a friend. His offices are conveniently located in the West San Fernando Valley and although I did not see Dr. Osman himself, I was able to see a nurse within days who presented a workable solution for my cystic pimple. I've had acne problems for years since I turned 18. There were times when I was able to get it under control with better skin products/routines, laser treatments, facials and chemical peels, but I was never able to completely get rid of the bumps on my face. It is so disheartening to see pimples creeping back to my face time and time again, especially given how disciplined I was in terms of diet and exercise routines. About one month ago, I got so stressed out about an exam that my acne got completely out of control and this is when Dr. Osman came in and saved me. With his proscription of antibiotics and topical treatment, my skin is now 90% clear after merely a month! What a miracle! I tracked Sherry Sanvictores down from a practice in Glendale years ago (that doctor is now retired and when Sherry left I always remembered how terrific she was). SO glad the office assistant that took over the practice in Glendale/Burbank was able to give me Sherry's current location. I'm sure Dr. Osman would be excellent too, but I will continue to make appointments with Sherry despite the distance/drive. I have total faith in her with regards to my skin and the things she has done for me, and recommends. My office experience December 2020 was easy in and out, convenient parking no charge, yay. I've seen a dozen dermatologists along Ventura Blvd. for several decades. NONE of them were as competent, effective and efficient as Dr. Osman. He is sensitive and caring during procedures. Great staff. Most importantly, he was confident on a follow-up prognosis that should eliminate recurrence of the issue permanently. After so many years suffering with this condition, that assessment was encouraging. Dr. Osman graduated from USC Medical School (one of the best med schools in the country). And it was easy to get an appointment! I recommend Dr. Osman 100%. It was worth driving a few miles to Northridge ... and traffic was light on a rainy day! So worth it.
