I have been working with RJ for months. Bought a beautiful BMW from a dealer that tried to pull a fast one on me and clear a check engine light before selling me the car a month later I couldn't pass emissions so I was driving w expired tags. I went to my old mechanic I had gone to for yrs for my previous cars. He told me BMWs were his "specialty" when I brought him the car. But then told me the problems were way too complex, advised me to just get rid of the car, and refused to touch it because it had been tuned and modified w aftermarket parts. I then went to a BMW dealer for help. Same thing, refused to touch the car, called another place and got turned down. I googled and found RJ. He's the ONLY ONE who was willing to help me. I was also really cautious at first as I have been majorly taken advantage of when going to other mechanics in the past. RJ has put so much time into helping me with everything I've needed. I was referred to RJ by my siste-in-law when I needed a Service B for my Mercedes. He was able to get me in and out quickly and his prices were extremely reasonable. But it wasn't until I had to call on RJ again about a month later that I knew RJ would be the only mechanic I would ever trust with my car. I yelped auto repair near me and found five, 5 Star Reviews on this guy. I read them, called the shop and spoke with him, RJ, directly. We spoke for about 10 minutes. He actually listened to me and what I was dealing with regarding my car and gave some feedback, asked some questions and was patient. I had to work my way through all the things wrong with my car and what was most important in fixing first. In this case, it was the brakes. They were doing this very annoying squealing noise driving me crazy. RJ provided his hours and asked me to select a time to bring him the car so he could give it a good once over. The next morning I easily found the shop. FYI, the address on Yelp is incorrect. The correct address is 3660 Winsor Park, which is just off Buford Hwy near McGinnis Ferry. He is located in a industrial park area across the street from some construction and a school. RJ inftroduced himself, and as previous reviews stated, was very professional and courteous. He gave the car a once over, opened the door, started it, walked around it, a quick inspection. He then asked me to step into his office and I told me about the repairs needed to the brakes and where he would get the parts. I left him the key and the car and left with a friend. He called me that evening with an update to what he had completed. He is closed on Sunday but agreed to meet me at the shop so that I could pick up my car. We set a time and he was there. The brakes work great and he fixed some minor cosmetic concerns I had as well. I was impressed. I have more things on my car list to fix that RJ is going to have to tackle. I am happy to say that at long last, I found my new mechanic in the Atlanta Area. read more

Upon calling Import Auto Specialist after much research my intuition immediately told me RJ was the person I would allow to do some major surgery to my Toyota 4runner. He was knowledgable of the common problems with my truck, suggested a logical, cost effective manner to approaching the problem I believed my truck had and the estimate was very competitive. I dropped my truck off and RJ did his own diagnostics and found a slightly different problem than the dealership had found (burnt valve instead of headgasket) with a compression test. He told me it would take about 4-5 days to complete the repairs, I gave him the OK and I got my truck the morning of the 5th day. Over the course of the few days RJ had my truck he provided updates and pictures by phone of the work being done. I even stopped by the shop a couple times while RJ was working on it to see the repairs being done. If you've ever dealt with the dealership you know there is not much transparency with talking to the mechanic or seeing your car during the repair period and I'm not a fan of dealing with service managers. RJ is extremely professional and a master of his craft. Prices are by know means dirt cheap but competitive to below average. After getting my truck back I took two back to back road trips( 500miles & 1200 miles) without any issues. RJ even called to follow up on the repairs to see if I had any concerns. Again... Stupendous customer service, quality work, competitive prices. This is rare when dealing with auto repair persons. read more

We have been taking our cars to RJ for about 3 years now, and will not go to anyone else again. He is honest and actually cares. His service is impeccable. I went in for an oil change, and I desperately needed tires. However I could not afford them at the time, and RJ knew that money was tight.
