Robin Lawson is a crackerjack inspector--one of the best! Eight years ago we made and offer on an entirely redone home. Despite the home appearing to be picture perfect, he was very careful and meticulous. He discovered the gas fireplace logs were not functional--so we got a gas start wood burning unit installed. He found a live electric line under the new hardwood floor--we had a floor outlet installed that is now our Christmas tree outlet used every year. And he found one really big thing. When he crawled up in our attic, he said, "Hmm, there is only one reason an owner paints the rafters of a home-they do this when there is a fire." When we dug deeper we found that the renovation was due to a whole house fire that had resulted in the loss of life.
