Food was delicious and fast. Husband said it's the best mushroom burger he's had. Philly steak was good and the everything roll! Cute little place with great service. Highly recommend over a chain restaurant.

Have you ever wondered what the tastiest thing you can put in your mouth in Fort Wayne is? Well, look no further because Laycoff's sausage roll owns that title. Laycoff's is a small bar and grill with amazing food. Think diners, driveins and dives type place but better. If anyone from out of town visits the fort this i make sure they try the sausage roll

Cool sandwich menu and a sample of a vodka rocks awesome pour.

Food was really good. Pizza was fresh dough. Service at the Bar was the best. Quick and really good pours for sure. What a nice feeling neighborhood style place. I'm from Ohio and if I'm near I will be back.

Great chill spot, food is amazing! Probably one of the best burgers I've had. Portions are big and prices are great for the amount of food given. The waitresses are lovely. First time I went they were playing Gaga and Katy perry so that was a plus! Lol. I definitely recommend. It's a little tight in there but definitely worth it.

This was a large pizza. More than I could eat in one sitting. The crust is thin except on the outer edges. The wood fired process makes the outer crust crispy - in some spots very crispy. The bottom of the pizza was still soft and nicely baked and lightly coated with corn meal. The crust has a buttery garlic flavor which was delicious. The quantity of toppings was just right. The vegetables had a slight crisp and tasty fresh. The meats had good flavors. No strong Italian flavors. I liked the larger and thicker chunks of sausage. The pizza sauce was kind of hidden. It was hard to detect as it wasn't very plentiful. Seemingly it is slightly sweet with a mild tomato taste. Cold Pizza Test - the crust stayed moist with a slight crunch. The flavor of the toppings seemed to blend even more with time and coldness. The corn meal base flavor seemed to become even more prominent. Bubba's cold Deluxe pizza had an enjoyable taste! The side salad was nice. The greens were fresh with a limited number of side vegetables. I accepted the onion straws on top of the salad. While the onion straws had a nice taste...the number of crunchy items dominated the salad. I thought I was eating more straws than lettuce. The team here works hard. The shift manager is on the ball and keeps things moving. She is very professional and welcoming. Myranda was our waitress. She hustled and came back to check on us frequently. We appreciated her service and kindness. Just to reiterate from previous reviews. This is a large but busy place. Use the wait list feature. Otherwise you are gambling on longer wait times. The host and our server both were very kind and helpful. Our server, Wendi, was authentic and attentive. She talked with us about the menu, kept our drinks filled, and checked in on us often. The restaurant is definitely a sports bar. Large TVs line every wall. The decor is Americana. While it's loud when it's full, it just adds to the energy of the place. My husband and I both ordered the Shotgun Shrimp Po' Boy. He had Fire Fries and I had the loaded tots. The Po' Boy was loaded with shrimp and the Shotgun sauce is delicious! Hubbys Fire Fries had quite a kick, but so good! And my loaded tots were delicious! I highly recommend you get yourselves to Bubbas 33. They make everything from scratch which makes it all even better!

The Beer Garden is a nice place to hang out while you wait. Though the seats are all wood and low to the ground. The Philly Steak and cheese was piled high with tender and moist beef. Not a lot of seasoning to the meat. The au jus provided some enhanced beef flavoring. The bun was relatively soft while maintaining a toughness that made it nice to dip without falling apart. I thought the sandwich would come with more peppers and ooze with cheese, but it did not. The Mac & cheese was just kinda there. It didn't do much to ramp up the tastes. The noodles were very soft - almost squishy. There was a mild amount of sauce to the noodles. I would prefer more...enough that you would want to dip the bread in the leftover sauce. The cheddar cheese that laid on top didn't stick to the noddles...it just peaked off. My wife loved her Burrito Americana sandwich. Lots of moist chicken and fresh fillings. Overall there are plenty of simple and diverse things on this menu! The Deck had plenty of help to move people along. Though they didn't push you out. Instead of a nice piece of fish in the taco, what I got were over spiced fish crumbles. In other words a small piece of fish that was scrambled into bits and spread thinly into the taco. And kind of greasy as well, so keep some tums on hand. You get 3 tacos on bland flour tortillas. Instead of some kind of sauce you might usually associate with fish tacos. these were served with salsa verde, green salsa, probably out of a can. The grated cheese also was straight out of a gordons food service bag I'm guessing. They were one of the cheaper things on the menu for $12. Really you generally go to the Deck for the outside ambience, but if you like fish tacos, don't bother trying these.

Lanes are super close together (duh) so the room is limited. I recommend 2 lanes if you're doing more than 6 people. 1 hour was enough time to play one game with six people at a casual pace. Table space while you're bowling is limited so we usually bowl with drinks and a group appetizer and then move back to the tables to have an actual meal. Lots of fun with good food in a friendly atmosphere. Get the blood Mary "all dressed up" (yeah I know it's $24 but it's well worth it) We tried the Crying Johnny Smashburger (tastes like POWERS used to. Ducky's - duck pin bowling is fun, but is the food good?…read more Ducky's advertises themselves as a scrap kitchen. So...it should be good, right? They don't have a very big menu. There are five entrees to go along with a small amount of burger, chicken tender and appetizer choices. I went with the burger of the month - the pizza burger. The friendly waiter said the pizza sauce was made in house from scratch. The sauce was outstanding! It was thick and sweet with a bold tomato paste taste. The bun was soft and slightly grilled with a buttery flavor - very nice! It is odd that the burger is served in halves and vertical. The burger patty was very thin and cooked to a medium well done consistency - I would prefer medium rare but they didn't ask my preference. I thought the burger was over cooked and a bit tough/crunchy on the edges. It did have and nice high quality meat flavoring as it is sourced locally. The burger was covered with grilled pepperoni. This added a nice "pizza" flavor when combined with a nice bedding of mozzarella cheese. My wife really liked her chicken tenders. They were nice and moist. The breading was unique, tasty and crispy. She said the fries were very good while the best part might have been the house fry dipping sauce. That sauce was a nice combination of southwest and traditional meat flavorings. The side salad, to replace the fries, was fresh yet very small. The salad came in a half-ball type dish that was slightly larger than half a baseball. The half ball was actually unstable to eat out of. I had to cup the bowl with one hand to keep it from tipping over. The salad had a few side tomato and pepper parts added. There just isn't much room for things in this small of a dish. We decided to try the strawberry bread pudding for dessert. This was a fantastic dish! The breading was basically two pieces of fried French toast. It was soft on the inside with a cinnamon swirl and strawberry pieces. The breading was drizzled with a thin moderately sweet strawberry flavored syrup. The syrup was accompanied by some fresh whipped cream also bathed in syrup. Overall, Ducky's does have good food. They have a limited menu at moderately expensive prices. My preference would be to sit down and enjoy the scratch made items versus squeezing them in while you bowl. Also consider dinning at Ducky's and walking across the street the Pearl Arts Center for a program.

Big Eyed Fish on Wells Street - when you have a craving for Fish & Stroh style fish and tarter…read moresauce Yes, I know that I could go to Stroh to get this old time flavor. However, Big Eyed Fish is pretty good fish in its own right, local...and flavored like the taste I remember from the past. We visited the Big Eyed Fish location on Well's street. They have an express shop located on Huegenard Road and another dine in location at Leo Crossing. This location has been in service since 2003. It has a nice diner feel with super friendly service. You can find parking on the street or in the lot behind the store. The inside is rather large and works well for parties up to about 8 diners. There is a small bar and TV's if that is your thing. They also have a big and varied menu including breakfast items. Here is a run down of the food items: -Fried Fish: the white fish fillet is thin and fried with a thin breading. The fish is moist and tender. It will flake apart with a fork or by hand. The breading has a slight amount of seasoning and isn't very oily to taste. It has a taste similar to the Fish & Stroh style if you are familiar with that. The fillets are not very filling. For an extra $3...I went with the all you can eat option. Delicious fish! -Tarter Sauce: I love tarter sauce. In fact I might order fish to go with my tarter sauce - lol. This mayo based sauce is reasonably thick, somewhat sweet and has a hint of pickle flavoring. It's creamy and makes a perfect complement to the fried fish flavor. -Baked Beans: this side really surprised me. The bean is small and contained hamburger pieces. The sauce had a slight BBQ flavor but not enough to classify it as a BBQ baked bean dish. The meat flavor was a nice add to the smooth tomato spiced sauce. Delicious!! -Cole Slaw: I kind of use KFC as the standard for Cole Slaw. This is very similar. The slaw pieces are cut very small with only one kind of slaw. Seemingly no additives - just slaw. The sauce is mayo based, a bit more sweet along with a hint of vinegar. I loved this side too! -Hush Puppies: these balls are pretty small in diameter. The inside is very modista and sweet with that southern style corn bread taste. The outside is thicker, a bit oily to taste and has a mild corn bread taste/texture. These are probably some of the best hush puppies I've had in my southern raised life.
