She asked if I wanted highlights and dimensions I said yes. Most of the references have highlights. What she gave me was the opposite of what I asked for. 12 hours before my vacation I ended up with bright blonde highlights on a dark brown base. I had darker hair then what I came in with somehow. I asked her why the color was dark she said it oxidized dark. I didn't question her. She told me she has done hair for 25 years. I don't believe that based on what I received. I explained I wanted the highlights to be copper. Once she started blowing out my hair I was getting incredibly upset. It wasn't even close to what I showed and we discussed. I had not touched my hair in a year to let it grow and get healthy. She botched it. I told her I was extremely upset. She told me she could fix it the next morning early before my flight and that she would text me. Unfortunately I had to leave for another appointment and paid her $400 for my hair. She wasted my time, my hair health, and my money. I shouldn't have paid her at all. After an hour I become really upset after getting a look of my hair in the sun. I called lather salon 12 times. No response. I decided to drive over because Kati had still not texted me to fix it. I showed up and she was gone. The salon owner was still there and tried to call her but nothing. She apologized but offered no real solution. Saying she was done and couldn't help me. She suggested to go down to one of the 7 salons on the street and try to get help. I did and found a gem of a stylist. She told me my hair was so botched she would have to lather my hair in bleach. Further having to destroy my hair health to undo what Kati had done. By the time I have the bleach on my hair I finally get a text from Kati. Offering a 50% refund because she also had give me a dusting. A dusting costs $200 apparently. Instead of going back and forth with a stylist who obviously didn't care about the service she provided just the money. I didn't continue fighting. The entire process I was in the dark about what was going on with my hair. Lies were told saying it's going to be copper. Do not come to this salon. They wrecked my hair and I had to spend more money fixing the damage she caused. But I guess it was worth $200 to her.

This woman went out of her way to hand deliver (in beautiful packaging) the toner my hair needed during quarantine!!! She goes the extra mile and takes extra special care when transforming your hair to ensure it stays happy and healthy. I've been cutting my own…read morehair for 14 mos, and while Lynnie was super kind and generous in telling me that I did a good job and that anyone would struggle to cut the back of their head where they can't see, I felt like my hair was a real mess. I mean, just chaos all over. So now that I'm vaxxed and about to take a trip back east to visit family I haven't seen in what feels like eons, I knew I needed professional help. And since I'm relatively new to Austin, I turned to Yelp for help in choosing that professional help :-) I absolutely love the cut and style Lynnie gave me, and, as I said, I felt like her task was extra challenging because of all the chaos I wreaked on my own quarantined head, ha. So I'm extra impressed with the end product! This cut is super cute and stylish and attractive and it feels very "me." I love it! Also, I love that Lynnie asked about how I style my hair at home, and maybe bc I'm lazy or maybe I'm impatient, I usually just let it air dry. So she gave me tips for styling it that way and then put me under the dome dryer to mimic the air dry so we could see how it looked after. I really appreciated that extra touch too-- it was so helpful to me since I feel like I learned some new tricks that I will actually carry out bc they're easy and don't require me to do anything time-consuming. Also, I felt very comfortable with Lynnie. In addition to clearly being so talented at her craft, she's a warm, friendly, all-around nice person who I enjoyed chatting with while she was making over my head :-). I was so looking forward to my first professional self-care experience post-vaccine (my husband is in a vulnerable group so I've been psychotically cautious for the last year so I wouldn't unknowingly give the virus to him). I was so looking forward to it that I could barley sleep last night! But at the same time I was nervous bc I am so easily embarrassed (I'm working on that), and I really was embarrassed about my hair. Lynnie put me at ease immediately, and her kindness and patience and warmth made the whole experience fabulous for me, so it was good for my outsides and my insides. I feel so good with this new haircut (I feel 10 years younger, maybe even 20!), and I feel so grateful for finding out about Lynnie. In case it's not already obvious, I will be returning again and again to be the lucky recipient of her talent, and in case it's not obvious, I highly recommend her as well... the highest recommendation I can give! (Even a flight attendant complimented me, so it wasn't just people who know me, but a few strangers too.) Also, I had lots of pics taken of me (which I normally don't like bc I don't like pics of me), but these pics were sweet bc they were me with my first grandbaby! If Lynnie hadn't fixed all that I had done wrong to my head over the last year I am positive I would've hated those pics of me bc I would've been distracted by how bad my hair had looked instead of focusing on the baby. So thank you for that huge save, Lynnie! (If I weren't so shy I would post a pic of me. Alas, I am that shy.) Also, this cut is a dream to take care of: it really suits my wash-and-wear lifestyle, and looks so good to boot. And Lynnie showed me some cool tricks to accentuate the style when I air dry. And I forgot to mention that I have short hair-- I read somewhere that short haircuts are harder to do well than long ones (makes sense when I think about it).
