A friend of mine suggested I try this place out and I'm so glad I did. Despite being huge, it is such a hidden gem. Every part of the Bistro/Bakery is aesthetically pleasing, even the waiting area. They have an urban, but homey feel to their decor. There is plenty of seating for everyone. Their bakery is stocked with cakes, shakes, macaroons, and more. They have something for everyone. Everything they serve is fresh and authentic. You can tell that it's made in store. I tried the palmiers and they tasted amazing! I loved it! When you turn the corner there is a small bar area where you can purchase alcohol if you please. The staff was very accommodating and patient. We had a huge party of 15 and they were ready to seat us as soon as we all arrived. The staff behind the counter on the bakery side were very helpful. I'm finally reviewing this place. I have been coming here for years (since they opened). I was in the mood for a gourmet burger. And this place I knew was definitely the place to go to. Every month they have their burger of the month so it's always cool to see what new burger they have come up with. They also have cards on the table that you can enter a burger you created and that it would be put to a vote by the restaurant for the burger of the month. They also have local beers from the microbreweries near by. And don't forget! They also have a bakery there too. Tons of deserts and cakes. Wow (!!) to both items. The tomato bisque was a beautiful blend of tomato, herbs and a slight amount of cream..... I wanted to lick the bowl ! As for the sandwich, the ingredients were a grilled chicken breast, sundried tomato, spinach, provolone cheese, asiago and artichoke spread on herbed foccacia bread. So good, forgot to take a picture before everyone digged in. I also forgot to take a picture of my Moscow mule which was also good. Over my experience from beginning to end was 5 stars. 2019 went for a custom cake. They Dont do cake consultation at brunch time. They need 5 day notice to make a cake. Starting at $200 for a 2 tier(2story cake) custom cake. If you want lil designs (flowers, ribbons, polka dots..etc) its obviously extra. Its pricey and the cake is pretty small probably feeds 20 people. Now if u want a decent 2 tier cake its soo expensive. If you get a cake already done on their display you can buy it for around $30. You can get a stamp for your stamp card everytime u spend $25. This cake was pretty good. My red velvet was a little dry but the overall flavor was good. Their carrot cake used to be my favorite until they switched the whipped frosting, which was light and truly delightful, to the buttercream, which is too heavy and sweet. My friend and I came in for dinner. First off there was not one around to seat us. When we finally got seated it took forever to give our drink orders than to eventually get them. It looked like they were really short staffed. I ordered the monthly special Hamburger. But, was told they had just ran out. I ended up ordering the melt and my friend the meatloaf. I've personally eaten lunch here twice. Their short rib mac and cheese sandwich is delicious. I ordered that both times. Servers are nice, but not as attentive when you need them. Also, there is a wait time between brunch and lunch. The restaurant won't seat you while the menu transitions. What promoted this review were the cakes we ordered for a party I hosted. We loved the flavors of the lemon raspberry, and the over the rainbow cakes. We also threw in a marble chocolate mousse cake to appeal to the chocolate lovers. The ordering process was confusing, though. They don't give prices over the phone. We also got mixed information about the pricing on preordered cakes. We only wanted 8 in. rounds but didn't want their decorated frosting. They quoted $85 per cake to keep it plain white buttercream. That's 2 and 1/2 times the price of their ready made 8 in. rounds, which doesn't make sense. Fortunately another manager was able to accommodate our request at the normal price for 8 inch rounds. It really helped to make our event a success because we got so many compliments on the cakes, among many other compliments. We plan to order again in the future and hopefully that'll be an easy process. read more

Dolce is both a bakery and a bistro. The bakery serves what you would expect: cakes, cake pops, cookies, cheesecake, cronuts(original is best) and the rest are too sweet. They of course make cakes for all occasions. The bistro offers sandwiches, coffees, burgers and other entrees. The service here was fast and friendly. For close to $23.00 I bought 3 pieces of cake, 2 cake pops and 2 cronuts. Everyone liked the cronuts and the cake pops. The red velvet cake really didn't taste like anything. That was disappointing. We have been wanting to try Dolce for quite some time as we had learned of this place from the local food critics and just looked just plane delicious. We tried them out for dinner on Saturday evening and really enjoyed our meals. My wife and I each split the Backyard BBQ: Cavatappi Mac and Cheese, bacon, onion straws, pepper jack, ranch and Chipotle BBQ sauce on a Brioche bun and The Melt: Bourbon caramelized onions, while grain Dijon Aioli, Swiss and Cheddar Marble Rye. We also split the onion rings and house fries. Both were outstanding burgers made with high grade Angus Beef and full of rich flavor. Some of the best burgers that we have had in a long time. The fries were good and crispy, not soggy and the onion rings were fabulous as well. My wife is really particular on onion rings and she really enjoyed these. We of course had a few beers after such a long day but found their craft beer selection a bit limited. Not that we didn't find something to enjoy although I was disappointed they no longer had the Coconut Porter from Maui Brewing. Our waitress was nice and knowledgeable and told us about Dolce's brunch menu which sound delicious! We will definitely be having brunch here! We were not wholly sold on the modern metal décor but everything was comfortable enough and did look nice. Just not our style. Being we were full after dinner and did not get a chance to try out the bakery which definitely looked scrumptious! I know we are coming back for to try this as well.
