Amazing experience with Cupcakes & Co. I was a little nervous at first because it seemed like my initial order slipped through, but once I followed up, Sara was able to reassure me throughout the process and create the cutest cupcakes for my baby shower! I asked for the cupcakes to be delivered and they came right on time and in perfect condition. The cupcakes I ordered were winnie the pooh and pink floral themed and all of my guests were just awed by how cute they turned out and how delicious they were! It was one thing to nail the design, but another to be able to customize the flavor and make sure they were tasty. Would definitely recommend Sara for any event and I will be back for special occasions again!

Late review but I have to rave all about the cakes and desserts here. I ordered a custom cake for my baby shower (chocolate with raspberry jam) and omg, definitely one of the top 3 best cakes I've ever had in my entire life. The custom decorations were adorable but the flavor and texture of the cake was just exquisite. I also ordered 6 dozen mini cupcakes and however many cake pops and everything was just super high quality and delicious. Asian level of sweetness which is less sweet than typical American level of sweetness. Perfection. They packaged up my order very thoughtfully as well. They don't have a store front but you order via calling the number and Cynthia (I assume is the owner?) will call or text you back. Super easy ordering process and she's great about timely communication. Very very sweet ladies. I'm all for supporting great local companies and will be ordering more desserts for the next event!!

They communicated clearly throughout the process and even went above and beyond by opening on a day they're usually closed so we could pick up our order. Sara was so nice and accommodating for a last minute cake order. I'd been looking around for a German chocolate cake completely oblivious to the fact that not many places keep that in their daily rotation anymore, but it was for my dad's 60th birthday so I needed to make it happen. I called cupcakes & company and Sara was able to squeeze me in and get a small cake done the next day. They are a pre-order based business so I really appreciated it. This is the place to go for custom cakes! I was lucky enough to find this place on Yelp! Cynthia is the best! I sent her a picture of an Over the Hill birthday cake I wanted. She created the best cute cake! It was enormous with ganache filled with chocolate, cream cheese, and raspberry! The chocolate cake was really moist and delicious! I still can't recommend this place enough. Ordered another cake, this time with even more random descriptors. The birthday girl requested "a chocolate mostly naked cake with teal frosting, silver glitter, and strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries on top." I sent Cynthia five different pictures, each one like "I want the frosting from this one, and the topping from this one..." Not only did she absolutely nail it, she was so gracious when I asked to change the pick up date twice. My friend picked it up, and said the cake was a total hit. Great flavor. I am picky and I know a Baker who always says a cake can look amazing but the inside is what matters. With this bakery I found both. We got a strawberry cake and it was super moist and flavorful. I received so many compliments during the party and the next day. And 2 of the compliments were from families that own very successful restaurants in California, they know there stuff. The cake was good. Found Cupcakes&Co on Yelp with one week to finalize desserts for my baby shower! What drew me in were their keen designs! An added bonus as I was reading other reviews is that their cakes were delicious! So, I trusted the yelper community and contacted the company. I wanted a barrel cake for my disco baby themed event. Once I messaged them, Cynthia replied back within the hour to assist me! Sending her my visions she accepted and confirmed they can do the design I was requesting. She gave me a great price on customizing the size on the barrel cake and I chose their infamous chocolate flavor! I was able to pick up the cake a day prior to the event and was able to meet Cynthia's sweet husband! He had shared that they also sell their pastries at Seafood City as well and gave me a couple samples (how cool is that!). The cake was amazing and designed better than I had imagined and better yet super Scrumptious!!!!! We had tons of compliments on the cake and creativity, all the business cards ran out at the end of the day. I am pleased with their services and yummy treats! The coffee tastes like a clean, bitter, cold brew with a foamy top. (Important: Bring Cash. There's a 4% Cash Discount.) I arrived at Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) on Thursday (around 12:13PM). Parking is simple but busy. There's a side lot for customers; sign says, "2 Hour Parking." Staff is courteous, no-nonsense, and diligent. Staff worked hard. Staff quickly answered all my questions. My coffee took about three minutes. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Nitro Cold Brew ($9 - Large - 24oz). The coffee is very standard. It tastes exactly like any imagined cold brew coffee. Personally, the roast tasted a little burnt, but it's a common, familiar coffee flavor. The strength was weak for a nitro, but the HUGE SIZE and affordability balances it all out. This is a functional, budget drink. On ambiance, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a HUGE success. There's a lot of utility. The location has a self-serve water station, public internet with no password, stacked high chairs for children, two game corners (ex: Chess, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Uno Cards, Etc), and about one available electrical outlet. I also appreciated the retro, upbeat music and 1930s movie decor. In addition, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) has plenty of seating. There's about four interior tables, but there's also 16 outside patio tables. The location is clean, well-maintained, and well ventilated. We started with wine, their focaccia bread with a delicious pickled relish, and the arugula salad, which was incredible. And that's where the wheels fell off the bus. To my own fault and sincere regret, why would I order anything but Italian food in an Italian restaurant, especially when Italian food is my absolute favorite. But no, we took the side route and my wife ordered the pork chop and I fell on the trap of ordering the ribeye steak. Will start with a pork chop that was just pretty good. And that's my wife's favorite protein dish so that's saying a lot. As for the ribeye, I was asked if I wanted it medium rare which of course absolutely that's the standard. However, when it came, I instantly knew this was going to be a bad piece of steak. It was all of about 3/8 of an inch thick and drizzled with a balsamic glaze. Sure enough I cut into it and it was absolutely dead gray and the taste was just the same. The taste was just mediocre at best and rather than make a big thing about it and return it I just powered through. After all, there's only so much you can do with a 38 inch ribeye. As an expert in meat grilling, even though it was a $28 steak, I would completely drop it from the menu because it's just not worthwhile at all. Otherwise get a 1 inch prime cut and charge $45 and make that a winner. As for dessert, how could I not order the homemade tiramisu and I was glad we did. It was perfection. So, will we be back? Yes, we will for two reasons. One, we loved the ambience and setting along with our server. Too, we intend to try what we would hope to be their strong suit, which is the pastas. We're not fish lovers at all so forget all of that, we'll go for the mainstream pasta dishes, and hope that they can restore our feelings for this gem of a restaurant.
