I am a complete newbie to eyebrow threading. After my experience yesterday, never again will I go back to waxing my eyebrows! The threading process didn't hurt nearly as much as my previous experiences with plucking or waxing, both of which are very aggressive to your skin. The whole threading session was quick, lasting less than 5 minutes. Note that I also have very sensitive skin. Usually my skin has extreme reactions to treatments, sometimes looking red and bruised for several days. After my threading session yesterday, though, I had slight pink spots where my eyebrows were threaded, but this subsided within only 1 hour. Cheap prices (~$10-$11 for eyebrows), friendly service (the thread girl asked me what eyebrow shape I was looking for and offered to change whatever I didn't like), and awesome results! I walked in with what looked like 2 caterpillars about to go battle on my forehead; I walked out with a pair of perfectly shaped brows ready to show off to the world! Worst eyebrow threading of my entire life. I came out looking like I penciled on my eyebrows. They are about half the width as when I walked in. They look HORRID. I cried on the way home and am currently on my way to Sephora to purchase SOMETHING to hopefully help!!! BEWARE. Unfortunately I don't know the girls name. read more

Cheap and they get the job done, for the most part. My right brow was threaded to perfection. My left brow was not as lucky. It wasn't too noticeable but of course it was the first thing I saw. Nothing a little brow powder can't fix but still... a girl's brows aren't something to mess with! I don't think I'd return. read more

Quick, painless (for threading). The place is very clean and relaxing. I think Layla did a great job, she knew what she was doing and was very receptive to what I wanted. This place is great for people who haven't threaded before and of course men just because this was the most gentle threading I have ever had. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! + its next to wild cherry! Yogurt and threading? I'm in! I was SO excited when Layla threading was opened in cam! No more driving to irvine, the valley or ventura! The "salon" is very clean, and its never packed no matter what day I've gone in. The prices are great and the service is fast and efficient. I like my natural brow, but it does need to be cleaned up and no matter which beautician I see, I have always been extremely pleased. SO pleased, that I've brought my husband and brother here to have their eyes done and they can attest, that they look like refined, clean men! Not the best. The lady didnt speak to me. She didnt even clean up,no aloe or something to keep it from being red.she literally got a few hairs.I had to clean it up after. I was really unhappy. read more

Called here and asked if they actually shape the brows as opposed to just removing the stray hairs and was told yes. But when I got there, was told by the same girl I spoke with on the phone that she couldn't do it. Paid $11 for threading that I could've done at home. Would not recommend and would not come back. read more

Reasonably priced and they always do a good job. They also give repeat customers $1 each time, which I didn't even realize the reason until I'd been a few times. So relieved this place is nearby for me because I can drop in whenever it's convenient. Always a pleasure to get my brows threaded. All of the girls are fantastic and I feel "fresh and clean" after. Some of the girls put cream on my brows immediately after but a couple of them don't and I love that part! They should tell all their employees to do that - it is a nice ending. Let me start by saying you NEED an appointment to go in this place. I didn't know that because I've never needed one before even in this pandemic. So my mistake there. I walked in and was immediately NOT greeted but asked with a huge attitude from a young girl if I had an appointment. I said I'm sorry I didn't and she rolled her eyes. I apologized again and said I didn't know I needed one she said she could take me but I needed an appointment in the future. My mistake for sitting in her chair when she looked pissed. This girl TOOK OFF MY EYEBROWS. I have never had an issue with my eyebrows before when going to this place and I was left completely speechless. I believe she did this on purpose because she was irritated I didn't have an appointment. I paid her and she completely avoided eye contact and I left shaking and crying. Love coming here. Prices are great and so is the service. My eyebrows are light and thin. However they always shape them well, I'm able to fill them in and I'm happy. A couple weeks ago I brought my daughter in because I couldn't figure out how to shape her eyebrows. Let me tell you that her eyebrows were on point/fleek hehehe . I was so impressed! read more

Normally I like this place; however, today was a bad experience. There was a new girl working, blonde hair with glasses, that was taking a very long time to thread. When I arrived someone was already in the chair getting threaded. This woman had to at least been there for 5 mins. I waited 30 minutes before I asked to schedule an appointment for later. She said to stick around for 5-10 more minutes and she'd be done. I had had it at that point. I've been threading for 2 years at different placed including Layla and NEVER had to wait 45 mins on each client. My advice - make sure you go when the experienced ones are working. read more

I'm basing my review on a phone call. Saw a couple good deals from a local coupon book so I decided to give them a call. I called regarding the birthday deal. The person who answered didnt seem to volunteer any info. on any of the services. I had to keep asking all the questions. She seemed more interested in talking to another employee cause when I asked a question, there was a few seconds of silence and then some giggling before She finally responded. This is my favorite place to get my eyebrows threaded. I don't even bother getting mine done while I'm away at college; I just wait until I can come home and get them done here. Not only are the girls who thread your brows really nice, but they also know what they're doing and make sure to keep your natural shape, but to clean it up nicely. They also tend to take a dollar off the price once you come in multiple times, so it's only $10 instead of $11. Either way, that's a really good price for a good eyebrow threading. And it takes less than 10 minutes, I'd say, so it's a quick stop. Definitely my go-to place for eyebrow threading. I'm so glad I found it. read more

I just got my first thread done today. I think it was great because there was no mess with hot wax and then oils to clean up the wax. It hurt a lot less than traditional waxing. And my skin feels very smooth and it was extremely fast. I'm never going to get my eyebrows waxed again I'm just gonna start threading a Layla's now because it was such a good experience. read more

It was a first time visit for me per referral from a friend. I was a bit hesistant because I am very picky with who threads my eyebrows and won't go to anyone unless it's "tried and true." I was scared to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time. I heard good reviews about Himani, and she is wonderful! Made me feel very comfortable the first time I got it done, now I always go to her. First she just cleaned them, then asked if I wanted them shaped. She is great at doing so.
