I started going to the Oxnard location since it was very close to my home, loved it at first... girls were very professional and welcoming. My last visit was the worst and I am thinking of going to the Camarillo location when Himani is working since I read the review where she is great. Who ever is managing the Oxnard office is doing a bad job. The girl that helped me was having a conversation (loud) with her previous customer and was using offensive language and was not paying attention to my eyebrows... it was pretty scary. read more

This place is terrible. I've been in several times and they do not shape the brows just clean them up. They do only spend about 2 minutes and your done. Once I went in and the young gal told me that my browns were messed up and asked me to let them grow out and come back. I walked out shocked cause she was the one who did them last. Also I wanted to splurge on myself for mothers day and asked her to do my entire face and the same young woman told me that I did not need to do it. So I went home and used my facial hair remover cream that I buy at Sally's. Also the prices are a sham. My daughter used to get her full face done they post a price of $35 then when you go to pay they charge $30. When you try to use a coupon they go with the higher price of $35 then bring it down to $30. They play games with the prices. We drive to a great place in Thousand Oaks called 5 Wild hairs where they actually spend time working on you. read more

Place is clean. Atmosphere is uncomfortable you're force to listen to unpleasant foreign music and there's a bad body Odor through out the facility. This is the place the go if you can wear ear plugs and you can hold your breath for a minimum of 20 minuets. We all know thats impossible. So to cut to the chase. God awful!!! She ripped off a mole on my face and I bled profusely. You would think she would offer to not charge me or to give me some sort of discount. No - she charged me full price. I bled constantly for 3 days. On top of that, she didn't have enough change after I paid her, so I paid her additional money to slash my face. She is a young girl who is ill - prepared to do her job or to deal with customers and issues. I'll NEVER recommend her to anyone. I hadn't been back to this Layla's location for several years because I found Panna's off of Lantana. I could always trust her to do my eyebrows exactly as I wanted them, which is not something I could say about the girls at Layla. I moved to Santa Barbara two years ago and decided to try the Layla's there and was not disappointed at all! I had a gift card and since I am back home for the summer I decided to give the Camarillo location a second chance, and I really wish I had just spent actual money at Panna's and saved my gift card for when I got back to Santa Barbara. Didn't catch the name of the girl who did my eyebrows, but she spent a max of 2 minutes threading my eyebrows and the results were the same as I could have done myself with tweezers. She put no effort in to shape them and when I asked if she could clean them up a bit more, she said no and that I just had to fill them in at the parts that she didn't touch. I have never had to fill in my eyebrows because the girls who do them usually do a good enough job shaping them that it's unnecessary. Just save your money and go to Panna's!! Will probably be visiting her in the next couple days so she can work her magic and hopefully do what the girl at Layla's couldn't. read more

I'm home for spring break to visit my family and this is always one of my stops! I started going here almost two years ago. It was the first place I had ever let anyone do anything with my eyebrows. I've never wanted super thin eyebrows or something crazy. I love the all natural look. Still to this day I can easily walk in, be attended, and have flawless natural looking eyebrows :) very much appreciate it. I've gone to the one in Ventura and they thinned them out too much to my liking. In the last few years I have moved to LA and Sac for work related reasons and have only found one other place as great as this one! My mom is also a fan of this place. I'm not sure if it was the owner or an employee but she was super accommodating that my mom comes in at least once a month. It is so nice to be groomed and still look natural :) read more

This was the first time I have gotten my eyebrows threaded, I usually get them waxed but I decided to try this out and I loved it! It's quick, free of chemicals and without even needing to warn them not to make my eyebrows too thin (its a fear of mine haha) they shape them perfectly! Really bad eyebrow job! Neither one of my eyebrows match. I literally have a space (1 cut) splitting my left eyebrow in half and other half is thinner the rest. The right eyebrow has stray hairs. I didn't go to my usually place because they were closed, biggest regret of the day was coming here. read more

First threading service; wanted to try alternative to very painful waxing. Pria was quiet & quick! Great shape and clean up, lots faster and less painful than waxing. I have sensitive skin so I was a bit apprehensive, before I knew it, it was all over. Also did lip, I said ouch allot, but it was so quick, still not as painful as waxing.
