What a wonderful Layne's location! The staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful. They even asked how our meal was after we were served. The chicken strips are nicely seasoned and very delicious. Everything served hot & fresh nice buttery toast and yummy sauces. I love Layne's and recommend especially if you have children who love chicken strips.

10/10 better than Canes. The tenders are bigger and they also have a spicy option. They have a variety of different sauces. The Laynes sauce and jalapeño ranch were really good. They have the same hrs as Canes so they stay open till 2am on Saturday. Prices are similar. They have wraps also and sandwiches.

This is just a knock-off Canes. Basically same name, and same idea of fried chicken. The food is ok

Additionally, the service representatives in the drive-thru are consistently pleasant, which I truly appreciate. Regarding the food, it is always freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and perfectly crispy. I particularly enjoyed the option to substitute fries for onion rings or corn nuggets, though I did note the $5.00 upcharge for these substitutions. I also noticed a white powder found on all the items that has a unique, tasty flavor--almost like a salt and sugar mix--though I wasn't quite sure what it was. The only negative I've found is that the food does not seem to reheat well, even when using an air fryer. However, when eaten fresh, it is delicious. Thank you for the consistently good service and quality.

I'm knocking two stars for the time being because of a couple of reasons. But first let me start by…read moresaying that the people who run the place are very nice and welcoming. But their attention to detail and chaotic scene behind the counter caused delays and mess ups on my order two times and they still messed up the when I got it. My wife and I ordered the tilapia and tenders as well as the snapper and wings. These dishes were amazing, first star gets knocked here. When I ordered I asked for the snapper and wings and he rung up snapper and shrimp. No worries I'll tell him to change it, told him and he said no problem. Messed up the order three times and had to remind them every time that it was the wings. My oldest got the chicken sandwich which looked amazing. Here's the second star, I asked them what came on the sandwich which was sauce and lettuce. My daughter is a plain Jane type lady so I asked for no sauce. What do we see when she opens the container? It's absolutely smothered in sauce and lettuce. I had to end up going to the store and buying buns to put tenders on the new bun.

I asked my PT employee/friend if she brought her lunch, and she said yes, but she didn't want to eat it. Winning! Haha. She said she's been to this place in person. The first thing she said was that it was clean. I looked it up on Yelp just to be sure and was sold. It took me a while to decide. I also love vegetable egg foo young and was deciding between sweet and sour chicken, general tso, or orange chicken with fried rice, of course. I went with the sweet and sour chicken. My friend went with the shrimp fried rice since she's pescatarian. She liked her meal. Hers was packed in a plastic takeout container. Mine was ironically packaged in a styrofoam container. I expected it to be all reusable plastic containers. The sweet and sour sauce was in a takeout container and a small single use one. It was weird considering there was plenty of sauce and didn't need the random small one. I loved that the serving was plentiful for the chicken and fried rice. I made 4 small meals out of it. The chicken could be a little more meatier and have a lighter, crispy batter coating. The fried rice has some veggies like peas and carrots. It was perfectly seasoned and didn't need the extra soy sauce packets. I liked how they had a special for a buy one get one free egg rolls, so I got the 2 count crispy pork egg rolls. I ended up with 5 (4 for the $6.95 special) since my meal also came with one. They were a little greasy, but they were huge and flavorful. There was ground, red pork meat which is different to me. They gave plenty of duck sauce packets, which I love. I didn't eat all 5, but I did share with some of my staff and district staff. I saved one for home. I'm glad there's a great Chinese restaurant less than 10 minutes from my Spring office. I want to try the vegetable egg foo young next time.
