    4 piece tenders
    Belvy M.

I was super excited to try this new location in my neighborhood! This location is in the same plaza as the Human Bean. It's on the corner of Eves and Holcomb Bridge. It's a smaller plaza so the free parking is probably only about 50 spaces. The menu is extremely similar to Zaxby's. They have a drive thru as well. I ordered from the drive thru as I was pressed for time. The menu is simple enough. The prices are about $2 more than Zaxby's. Customer service was good! Unfortunately my food was very disappointing. I ordered the 4 piece chicken tenders meal with Layne sauce and Sweet tea. The chicken tenders are noticeably smaller than Zaxby's. The chicken was soooo bland. My fries were greasy like you could see the grease on the fries :( Texas toast was good! That Layne sauce was not too good either. Not disgusting... just not good! Now the sweet tea was delicious! I'm not sure if this place will survive as Zaxby's is literally 3 traffic lights down the road. I will definitely be passing this place on my way to Zaxby's. I had Raising Cane before and it was amazing so maybe my expectations were too high! I just knew that with a menu the same as Zaxby's that they would bring it!!!! Unfortunately it is a No for me

Three finger plate with Layne's sauce. Yes...better than Cane's and plenty of food for $10.

First off, I am a big fan of Raising Cane's. Unfortunately the closest one to me is over 30 minutes away. So I was excited to hear that something similar was coming to town about 15 minutes from me. It's still outside my normal lunch drive, but reasonable enough on occasion. I visited Layne's for the first time on their opening weekend in April. It's located in a small strip center off Holcomb Bridge pretty much in front of Centennial High School. The parking lot has plenty of spaces. Upon entry it was as expected. A quick service casual dining spot. It doesn't have the "flare" of a disco ball and loud music like Raising Cane's. That's a plus. There is a small counter with two people to take your order. Then you get a number and they bring your food to you. Mine came out right away. Drinks are self service Coke fountain products with pellet ice. It was clearly staffed extra for the Grand Opening. Everyone was nice. The food I think is actually slightly better than Cane's. Tenders are sauce as extremely similar to Cane's. I love the sauce. The tenders might be a little small as others noted, but three was still plenty for me. It was $10 for the meal so if I really wanted to indulge I could spring for the 4th or 5th finger, but I don't subscribe to the typical American way of scarfing large quantities of food down my mouth. The fries at Layne's are far superior to Cane's. Way crispier but not too crisp. The Texas toast was as good as Cane's and definitely better than Zaxby's. I went back with my son on May 5th, 2025. We beat the lunch crowd by a few minutes. We had a very good experience. Food was fast and fresh. My son agreed that overall it's the best of the chicken finger joints yet. He is a teenage boy and found the 3 finger plate to be plenty. He didn't even finish his fries and toast. We will definitely be back.

    4 Finger Meal

Went through the drive thru and picked the 4 finger chicken finger plate with fries and Texas toast. The chicken was a bit chewy. The fries were crinkle cut variety and crispy. The toast was okay. Price was a bit high, higher than comparable Zaxby's menu item. They were a bit stingy with the dipping sauce giving only one very small cup. May give them one more shot and try a sandwich and shake.

My experience was great. I tried a kid's meal only because it was my first time and I didn't want to get a big meal and it ends up in a unsatisfied situation. Service was quick, fast, and on point. Everyone was very welcoming and so nice and my food was fresh and hot. I've had better tenders but I don't have any complaints about Layne's at all. I'd eat here again.

I also got a side order of greens, although, as the daughter of a GRITS (Girls Raised In The South), greens and Mac & cheese have to be next level. First, the chicken was crisp and juicy. It had flavor and I enjoyed it. The biscuit was fluffier than I thought it would be. Second, the greens; OMG the greens! whose Auntie made them because they were GOOOOOODDD! I wish I got the cornbread to dip in the pot likka. Definitely a 10 x 100! Now, why this got three stars - the ribs. They looked good in the pictures but they were an extremely small half slab. Fall off the bone - yes, but they had no seasoning, weren't smoked at all, and were dipped in a cheap watery bbq sauce. Not oven/smoker braised - dipped. I know it's a chain, but they should invest in a smoker. This was a the only thing I hated. Would I

This was our first day trying it, and after lunch, we knew we had to return. The food is incredibly flavorful, truly unlike anything we've had before. For lunch, we shared the Rainbow Bowl, and for dinner we came back for wings (half BBQ, half mango lime marinade--SO good), a chicken Caesar salad wrap, Brussels sprouts, and their chips (fries). Everything was delicious, fresh, and generously portioned. The drinks were also a highlight--both the non-alcoholic and alcoholic options were refreshing and well-crafted. But what really made the experience special was the service. Kiran was such a sweetheart--kind, attentive, and just a joy to interact with. And another team member (possibly a manager) went above and beyond when they were out of shredded chicken. He had the kitchen substitute thigh meat for the Caesar wrap, and it turned out amazing. That level of care really stood out. All in all, this is a 10/10 experience (even if it's technically 5 stars!). We loved everything about it and are already planning our next visit--plus grabbing extra to-go for tomorrow. Bravo, Nando's! We'll definitely be back P.S. The app sux. It kept freezing. We want to talk to the people. Bring full service back. Said with love.

You'll come inside, mutation and order on the right-hand side where you see the neon sign, but when you go to the brewery itself, just know that there is free parking and there is plenty of parking at the facility. You'll use the kiosk, and then you'll get a text message when your food is ready, and you can walk around freely until that happens. There's only one person there, and they're actually behind there stacking the food up to be picked up, so don't expect somebody to keep bringing food to you. Hot chicken sandwich - the sandwich was good, but typically the sandwiches are already pretty decent anyway. I got mine hot, but it wasn't like it was overly hot whatsoever. It had a nice little kick to it, but I could have gone further, but it was still a good sandwich. Brussel sprouts - the Brussels sprouts were okay, but I probably would not get them again. They didn't taste like they were seasoned at all, or very well. I mean, maybe a pinch of salt, but barely that. In the cup, you only got like six half pieces of Brussels sprouts. For paying almost $5 to get three full Brussels sprouts, that wasn't really worth it to me. Tater tots - the tater tots were really good, and they got quite a bit of them. They didn't come with anything, so you can get what you wanted as far as a condiment goes, but they were super hot and super crispy. Chicken tenders - so these are basically like chicken bites or chicken nuggets, I guess, and you can get them tossed in whatever sauce you want. I got mine with the hot lemon pepper variation. It was really good, but at the same time I probably should have picked one instead of the mix of it. With the hot lemon pepper situation, it was basically like lemon pepper and buffalo, but all you really tasted was buffalo, because the buffalo is so powerful you really don't taste anything else. Overall, I have no issue with this spot. It's really a good vibe if you're trying to watch a game or something along those lines, and this is the closest chicken spot to me like this, so I probably will continue to go.

Piri-piri chicken, garlic bread, and zero self-control. Nando's is already one of our go-to spots, so it didn't take much convincing. The vibe hits that perfect sweet spot between casual and "we're pretending this is a planned night out." And the food? Consistently elite. My husband went with his usual: the 2 1/4 legs, hot. A bold man with a questionable spice tolerance, but I respect the commitment. I ordered the chicken thigh skewers, medium, because I like to feel something without seeing my life flash before my eyes. Now let's talk about the real star of the show: the garlic bread. I don't know what they put in it, but I would trust it with my financial decisions. It's that good. He also got the fries (which, okay... a little skimpy this time, Nando's, we noticed ), and I switched things up with the corn on the cob, which absolutely held its own. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed even though we didn't know we needed it. We met up with my sister and her kids, who ordered after us, but honestly the best part of the night was just hanging out, talking, and letting the table slowly turn into a graveyard of sauce-covered plates and crumbs. Final verdict: Came for matcha. Left with full stomachs, zero regrets, and a renewed emotional attachment to garlic bread. Would accidentally end up here again 10/10.
