Stopped by on a Friday night and it was crowded. It's located in the same plaza as Trader Joe's in Sandy Springs. I ordered the slider and fries and it was not enough food for dinner. It's a bit expensive for what it is, but the chicken is tasty and good flavor. I went with the mild spice and would get a level spicier next time.

For Drake's birthday event, they were giving away a free chicken slider if you downloaded the app. I gotta say that the entire was fairly well organized. There was someone monitoring the line and had people waiting outside. It was also an easy event to do - just download their app and check out ur rewards coupon for it. When I called ahead to make sure they had stock, they actually picked up and told me the same thing. The food was pretty good! I got level hot for a chicken slider but it still wasn't spicy tbh. The honey and hot Dave sauce combo on the slider made it much more flavorful. The chunk of chicken was a generous portion. On their walls, it says if you leave a google or yelp review, you're eligible for a free milkshake.

Got to try Dave's Hot Chicken when they were giving out free sliders for Drake Day - I enjoyed mine! It would've been $6.99 for this slider, which is a bit steep, as it's no bigger than a Chick Fil A sized sandwich, maybe even a hair smaller. Despite how expensive it normally would've been, it was definitely very tasty! I got medium spice which was perfect - just the right amount of kick and it was seasoned all over. Coleslaw that's in the sandwich is pretty standard, nothing special. I would be interested in checking out some other menu items, but it is a bit expensive for what it is Parking here is free but it can get a bit crowded

Food I like how simple their menu is. It's easy and straight to the point. I get the Dave's #3 so I could try a tender and a slider both in extra hot. It has good amount of heat. The tender is a decent size and has slaw, pickles, and sauce. The fries are well fried and go well with their sauce. Service Kind people with a welcoming presence Ambiance Small shop with some seating inside. Super casual

So if you want a hot chicken spot, this would be a place to check out. It's not super fancy. As far as the menu being expensive, it's pretty basic. You get sliders or strips. I sent a shopping center so there's free parking. There's a lot of parking as well but sometimes it does get crowded. You order your food at the register and then they'll give you a device that lets you know when your food is ready. The last time I went it took at least 15 to 20 minutes to get my sliders. I don't know what was going on or why it took so long, but it was really strange the fact that sliders and fries took that long. Two slider combo (hot) - The slider and fries were pretty good. The sliders meat was basically chicken tenders which didn't even fit in the bun l So you really had to go ahead and break some of it off to make it fit. But that's okay, I'd rather have more tender than less. My hot was good. It wasn't too overbearing and it did give you a little slight sniffle but nothing crazy. It came with fries which came hot in season. It also came with Dave's sauce. I'm not sure what it was but it had a little sweetness to it. Mac and cheese - The mac and cheese was okay. It wasn't like your auntie making it obviously LOL. But it was hot and creamy and had a pretty decent taste. I'll go back again. It's kind of like you get what you get. It's only tenders and tender sandwiches. But if you do like hot chicken, and you're in the area, it will be worth it.

I've been on a hot chicken sandwich kick for years now and had to hit Dave's. Tennille helped us and she was absolutely a gem. She broke down the menu and was so incredibly friendly. Greeting everyone who came in and truly went above and beyond. She handled everything with care, attention to detail, and her personality just radiates. They do something different at this location because there was also another gentleman I interacted with and he was so sweet as well. The difference in service at this location vs the one in Buford is night and day difference. Food took a bit to come out but we were warned (appreciated that)and it was nice and hot. There is some seating inside but be warned the sun can beam straight onto your face.

Friends wanted to try this spot as it's fairly new. And the crowd there definitely signified that this place is worth a try around lunch time on a nice, humid Saturday. The hubs ordered the hottest flavor (reaper), and he said the employees gave him a shocked look. I don't think a lot of people order this I suppose. He had to sign a waiver too. He was toughing through it while we were eating. And the aftermath with the digestion part was interesting. Let me just say that's what he told me. Both parts of the experience was painful. Let's just put it at that. We weren't super hungry after pickle ball so we shared Dave's # 2 which is two sliders with fries. Surprisingly we were able to each choose a different spice level. My choice of the medium was perfect. I'm a wuss with spice, and medium wasn't even that noticeable. Most of the group ordered the hot and extra hot level, and they enjoyed their sandwich enough. Though they were called sliders, they were a pretty sizable portion. Because when you think of sliders, you'd imagine something small and could be inhaled in like 3 bites. The chicken piece was juicy and plump. I really enjoy the flavors and all its messiness. The pickles were a nice plus on the side! Even a family nearby commented about the size of the sandwich so it's not really a slider portion but closer to a sandwich size that's just a smidge smaller. The fries were surprisingly crispy and full of flavor. Dipping it in Dave's sauce made it even better. Now I'm particular about my fries. And when I see crinkle fries, I always think it'd be soggy or lackluster in flavor. These were not such. They were crunchy with a kick of flavor with its seasoning. They were well flavored and delightful as fries should be!

This weeks adventure was a calorie bomb. We decided to try Dave's hot chicken. This is a no frills - fried stuff only place. Don't come here if you're watching your waistline or looking for a salad. I ordered the #3 with fries with medium heat. The fries were excellent; the medium wasn't very spicy and the spice was more of a dry rub than a wet sauce. I'm Also told that the chicken is Halal certified if that's important for you. There is some seating along a narrow hallway; nothing seats more than 2 people. They also have outdoor options if you don't mind the Atlanta heat. Consensus: I'd come again. Next time, I'd opt for more heat on the slider.

Keeping this short and real--I've been on a chicken tender kick lately, trying out all the hot chicken and tender spots I can find. Dave's Hot Chicken has been all over the internet, so I had to see what the hype was about. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to it for me. Just two days earlier, I had Raising Cane's and the food was served piping hot and super fresh. In comparison, Dave's chicken wasn't fresh at all--it had a gummy texture, and the flavor just didn't hit. I barely tasted any seasoning, unless that slightly burnt cayenne flavor was supposed to be it. The chicken was okay overall, but I'm clearly not a fan of their seasoning blend. The mac was decent, and the fries were your standard crinkle cuts--nothing special. Also, for a place that specializes in spicy tenders, offering only honey mustard instead of a zesty ranch or something complementary? That's definitely a missed opportunity. If you're curious, give them a try--they're popular for a reason. But personally, it just wasn't for me.

It was slammed when we came here but have to credit the crew with keeping things moving, and we got our food in a reasonable time especially considering the crowd. The inside has very limited seating, nothing for parties of more than 2, and there is some street-style art on the wall for flair. There are some tables outside which can hold larger groups. Food was disappointing, and a little pricey for what it is. My first issue is there's no blue cheese or ranch dressing, only Dave's sauce, which a mayo based sweetish sauce that was ok but I do think compliments spicy chicken. I tried the extra hot and reaper tenders. The extra hot was good, the reaper was really hot, which is what I expected, but also just tasted bad for some reason. They make you sign a waiver to get the reaper, which I think is overkill for its heat level, but it also had really odd taste that I would not recommend at all. Fries were fine; Oreo topped milkshake was good (they give a generous heaping of topping). Overall happy I tried it, but not sure I'll be going back.

    Combo one tender and a Dave's #3 1 Tender & 1 Slider w/ Mac n cheese.

I ordered a simple Bombay martini and one of the specialty cocktails for my wife. The bartender made my martini in a shaker and I remember hearing him asking someone else to stir it for him. For the next ten minutes or more, the bartender proceeded to make drinks for the waiters, I remember him spilling out two drinks and remaking them while my martini continued diluting in the melting Ice. Ten minutes or more later, he pours my martini into more of a champagne coup glass than a martini glass, and I waited another five minutes or more for my wife to get her drink. When I tasted the upmartini, It tasted so diluted, just bad, almost commical to me. I just laughed to myself because i've tended bar for a living and that was about the worst martini i've ever had in my life. Either Rumi is watering down his booze or the ice melted so much that there was barely a gin taste in the glass. I think their gig is rather than give you a real martini level pour they dilute you with so much melted Ice that you think you're getting a full pour martini, when, in fact, what you're getting is half gin and half melted ice. And believe ME, you are charged as though it was a real martini. The place was pretty busy, so a lot of people must not have a clue... or just like busy places. If everybody says, this is such a great place, I guess it's gotta be. Unfortunately, that's just Atlanta-if it's popular everyone just assumes it's good or pretends it is. I don't do well with pretend. Next after being seated at the table, i tried to order wine least expensive wines (so overpriced)-they were out of all of the lower-end overpriced wines I tried to order. It just bugs me to overpay so much for bottles of table wine. They're barely twenty dollars charging, 60-80 for them. But of course, ten minutes after I ordered the wine, this happened twice, the waiter told me they were out of the ones i was trying to order ( everyone must have had the same idea). Oh well. Right before the table was served the main course, the waiter and manager came to tell me that they had run out of the dish I ordered. I ended up replacing it with their duck dish that I had never heard of before but what the hell I'll try it (maybe I deserve it, because I remember my father always told me you never ordered duck in a strange restaurant you don't know) Everyone else at the table of 8 were served their meals ten minutes before my plate arrived. i'm like, please go ahead and start without me. Then, the duck arrives. I mean, if you're such a Rumi's, fan, try the duck and tell me what you think. First of all, it was lukewarm for something that apparently had just been made. The lukewarm duck comes 'in" this purple sauce, I mean, it wasn't even swimming in the purple sauce-It was submerged in the purple sauce. The waiter, of course, later brought me the wrong type of rice than the one i oredered..That's okay they brought me a new one right away. I was really starving at the time, but if I hadn't been, I don't think I would have eaten any of the duck. Being submerged in a kind of a sickening, putple sweet sauce it just wasn't appetizing at all. Challenge: if you're a big Rumi's fan, go ahead and please try the duck, but you have to try it like I did- lukewarm temptation. Then tell me if you remain an unconditionalRumi's fan. The bread is delicious though. To their credit when I tried to order 2 glasses of red wine after my meal was served, they did give us the vin de table for free. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

I happen to be shopping in Alpharetta and I had seen a TikTok review about his place so I decided to try it out. This establishment specializes in chicken. Everything is Korean chicken. It has this special sauce and grated pickles. It was so good. The bun was soft and the chicken was crispy. This was the kind of sandwich that would knock Popeyes chicken sandwich out of this atmosphere !!! The place was clean. It was quite a few people enjoying their lunch when I arrived. I was able to get a parking space directly in front of the restaurant and parking is free. You can't miss it and you don't want to miss it.

The first thing to be aware of is to not let any of the photos fool you! The portions are very generous. Many people around me ended up taking to-go boxes (myself included). I got the Kang Nam chicken, the half-sized tteokbokki, and the kimchi fried rice. The chicken was crispy and tender, and the white sauce with onion was incredibly delicious. The kimchi fried rice was also very flavorful as well. The spices balance very well together. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the regular tteokbokki. It wasn't bad per se, but it also wasn't good either. I think there are better places to get tteokbokki, but no worries, their focus and strength here is obviously in their fried chicken. I would come again and would recommend this place to other people.

There is limited seating inside; you've got long padded benches set in the walls and small tables. They seem ideal for parties of 4 or take-out. You can squeeze maybe one bigger party inside if you really want. I snagged a lamb sandwich on recommendation; it comed your choice of a chopped salad, cup of soup, or rice. I ended up going with the soup of the day which is a curry chickpea. The lamb sandwich was a definite winner. There's a lot of care and that same attention to detail to constructing it. There was a 15ish minute wait but perfectly acceptable since it all came out fresh. The lamb slices were super juicy and flavorful and the sauce added that extra spicy but not too spicy kick that went well with the softness of the pita and the crunch of the fresh lettuce. The soup was piping hot so I had to wait a few minutes to let it cool but flavorful and smooth. I'd gotten it as a potential dip but the sandwich did'nt need it so I'd probably go with the chopped salad next time. Overall, Cafe Sababa does a lot of what I enjoy in Mediterranean. I'd definitely stop in again and try out more items on their menu if I was in the area. A very good first impression.

When I walked in, I was impressed to see a Michelin-recommended sign posted at the entrance, which definitely made me curious to try something they were recognized for. I tried the vegetarian chive and egg bun appetizer, which was light and delicious if you are a fan of chives. Our table also ordered the fried potsticker dumplings--gets good and a must-try. The noodles were so fresh, and I loved that you can actually customize and pick your noodle size. It was also really cool that you can watch them make the noodles right through the window! The restaurant was clean, and we were able to be seated right away. There was a steady flow of people to include take out but it didn't feel overwhelmingly busy. The waitstaff was excellent and made sure we fully understood how the menu worked. Our food was delivered promptly and all at one time. While everything tasted great, I would have preferred the appetizers to come out first, as delivering it all together put a lot on the table at once. Overall, it's a frilly good , clean spot with great service, and I'd definitely recommend it!

Only thing about that was they needed to be wiped down. Very greasy and many fingerprints from all the customers touching. That turned me off a bit.. I ordered the Smoke Shack.. this burger was a double stack and included cheeseburger topped with applewood smoked bacon, chopped cherry peppers, and signature ShackSauce... it was pretty good. Way too many peppers though, I would like them on the side next time. I also had a malt chocolate milkshake, it was amazing 10th of 10 on the shake. My daughter had a cheeseburger with lettuce/tomatoes etc. it also had the shack sauce... she was not impressed with the sauce at all. The burger was cooked well but some how messy. Overall food was decent we paid about 40 something dollars which was steep for 2 burgers and 2 drinks. The atmosphere was cool. We don't have any interactions with the staff so I can't speak on that.. now that I think about it they don't even greet. The place was busy and a bit noisy but it was a Saturday afternoon.

Because we did takeout, I can't speak on service or ambiance, but I'd love to come in soon. I couldn't decide whether I wanted a mushroom burger or a beef patty, so when I saw the burger that had both, I knew that was for me! I ordered the Shack Stack well done and a side of crinkle cut fries. The verdict? I absolutely loved my burger. The mushroom was so juicy and flavorful, filled with cheese. The beef patty was perfectly smashed and crispy on the edges. So good. Unfortunately, the fries were mediocre. I got a side of shacksauce to dip them into which helped but they need to work on improving them... definitely could've used more salt and been crunchier. Despite this, I really enjoyed my lunch!

So I went back up to the cashier and ran my card again. However, there was a mix-up and I had been confused with another customer. Long story short, I was charged TWICE for my meal because of a screw-up. The manager on duty told me I would be refunded within a few business days (he never apologized for the mix-up or the inconvenience). I've called twice in the last two weeks, and I have still not been refunded. They sent me a refund receipt at one point, but they apparently refunded the wrong card. I've always enjoyed the food here, but the management is just awful. They made a mistake, took over $35 from me, did not apologize, and did not follow-through as promised. I can't believe I had to keep calling and tracking this down. It's baffling to me that you can run a business with this kind of service. I'm sorry, but you've lost a loyal customer.
