    Billy's classic (double burger)
    Vee I.

Coming thru Atlanta and was bummed that the Dunwoody location was already closed but then I discovered there is a second location in Avalon that is open later!! I ordered the Billy's classic and LYNDA'S-way loaded fries with a lemon drop cocktail. Loved the smashed burger but wasn't a huge fan of the loaded fries. I should have ordered the sauce on the side because it made them a little too sweet. The lemon drop was heavy on the vodka but light on sugar... I think they actually forgot the simple syrup so it was quite sour! (but I'd much rather them skimp on sugar than vodka!) Overall a fantastic stop!!

Great location at Avalon across from the green

This was actually a great burger. A friend shared the history of how they got started in a gas station and then food truck and wow . Tried this spot last month, I am a very picky burger eater and typically eat them at home or steakhouses. I will say this was a tasty, flavorful burger not too thick , I chose the single patty. No thank you to fries and tots fried in fat. The line was steady , staff friendly , and great location overlooking the green at the Avalon. Plenty inside seating and inexpensive.

Good burger joint located in the Avalon district. Burgers are small so doing double or triple is in order. They are delicious. Hot dogs are good too. Service is fair and staff is genuinely nice. I wish they had better selection of drinks such as beer as it would make it truly five star establishment...

NFA burger lives up to the hype and I understand why it has won best burger in Georgia in the past. There really isn't much more I can say as they keep the focus on the burgers. The service was fast and there was a lot of seating with TVs all around on the walls. We both got the classic double burger and it's a really delicious burger that I would recommend to everyone!

First time at NFA burger and i really enjoyed it! The inside is designed like a sports bar, so its a cool casual place to stop by if you're walking around the Avalon. The smashburger was great and the tots along with the side sassy sauce were perfection! The staff was also very friendly and helpful, they constantly checked on us. Great place for a quick bite!

I had previously visited the Dunwoody location but this was my first time at the relatively new location at the Avalon. First of all, it's great that they have a dining area in comparison to the picnic tables at the original location. It's also amazing that they have so many big screen TVs. I visited on a Sunday and they had almost all of the NFL football games on the TVs in the dining area. The burgers are really good. I ordered the single based upon my appetite, but apparently the most common is the double or the Billy's classic. The burger was juicy and very flavorful. I also ordered a tots which come crispy with a side of sassy sauce. The overall service is good. The order taker who greets you is relatively friendly, but the people behind the bar and the ones who bring your food continue to check on you and ask how you liked your meal. I had a pretty good experience and I would definitely consider returning and recommending the restaurant to others. Cheers

I've been driving my electric car to their infamous gas station spot in Dunwoody for the last couple of years. I concur with all the hamburger lists that this smash burger is second to none. My amazing son came to visit me from Massachusetts and requested his obligatory NFA burger as expected. I have been wanting to try their new sit down concept since it opened so I invited my best friend Matt to join us for his first NFA experience. I live downtown so to go OTP for a burger, it better be award winning. NFA Alpharetta didn't disappoint my friends. In fact, I'll be making this (even longer) drive in my Tesla instead of the Chevron location because not only do they have EV chargers but the sit down service was off the chain!

Loved the fries, the service was friendly, and we didn't have to wait in line. Wish they had fountain soda instead of a can. As for the burger? Just way too salty. Cheers! RS

Double burger with fries and tater tots

The burgers are quite tasty. The tater tots and fries are also good (large portions that can be shared). The meals are a little pricey (but then again so are many drive thru restaurants these days). The seating is fairly comfortable and the large screen TVs are great. I counter 4 very large ones and 6 large ones).

    LOL!

Another social media hyped place I have been wanting to try, NFA Burger in shee shee Avalon was pretty good as far as burgers and hot dogs go. That's what I tried! This place is moderately priced and moderately hostile towards ketchup which cracks me up. The burgers were your basic smash burgers, simply dressed and well seasoned. A good burger should stand on its own hence the hostility towards ketchup. I get that. That hot dogs though! The one I got was the Southsider which was a Polish sausage simply dressed with mustard and raw onion. This dog had a kick to it which I loved!! The tots were tots and nothing special. I got the Sassy sauce which the greeter/ cashier couldn't describe very well. I'm guessing it was mayonnaise and ketchup and some spices. We really didn't get great service until we sat down and got our drinks. We weren't warmly greeted when we placed our order. I also wasn't sure how to get a refill on my soda. I guess I could have asked but it wasn't very clear and I didn't know who could have made that happen. My wife asked for just water and you had to get that yourself at the bar. (Weird) The place looked pretty clean, modern but retro and it had a full bar. I saw that the people who delivered the food were fast and efficient. Will I crave this place? Probably not. It was kind of an odd experience service wise. I just wasn't too sure how their type of service worked. The food was good though for burgers and hotdogs. I will give them a thumbs up for their Giving Kitchen support. Love that!

    Double Patty NFA Burger
    Brian X.

This is my first time at this location. My previous experience was the one in Dunwoody at the gas station. Food - I ordered the double patty NFA Burger, the quality here is just as good as the original location, it has a crispy exterior for the smashburger, as well as the quality taste in the meat. The burger is 5/5. Also ordered the tater tots, it has a great perfect exterior crunch, but felt a little bit dry and over fried. 4/5 Service - 3/5 - I think that this place needs some reevaluation. The line very is long especially when you are waiting on a Saturday at peak lunch time in Avalon. The issue is that there is one line and that there is one register to take orders. That's not okay when you're waiting 30 minutes in line. Another issue is the the water, just as reviews have said in the past, they tell you that the waiter will bring out water for you but they don't and you have to ask them when they bring out your food. Next, the water cup is so small that after you finish your serving, you have to either ask the waiter to refill your water cup or go up to the bartender to refill it. If you're making it self-serve, you should have a water station to fill up your own cup. Otherwise have a larger portion size for the cups so that customers don't have to keep on refilling their cup. The food is great and I'll come back for it. But the logistics aspect needs some work.

Only tried the shakes from the walk up ordering but super great, fast service and my girls loved the peach milkshakes. Thank you and can't wait to come back and try the burgers! Love that they have a location at Avalon now.

Burgers, tots, grilled cheese. Heck yeah

So excited to see NFA opening up in a new location - this one will be right on the green next to the gelato shop, just as we were asking for more casual, easy food to be at the Avalon! Went on a Friday night with a concert on the green so the place was packed, took about 30-40 minutes to order but the staff were doing a great job controlling the line and making sure the kitchen wouldn't get overwhelmed. Food would come out pretty fast after ordering. Burgers were great if mine was a little on the done side but would definitely go back. Tots (and fries) are fried in beef tallow which gives it a bit of a deeper and different flavour than you'd probably be used to. Grilled cheese was fine, nothing special, but definitely hits the spot when we were looking for one. Prices are extremely good, $7-8 for a double burger, $5 for sides, beers are also $4-5 and seemed like everyone had a beer out on the green from here. Place has a good amount of tables inside, a bar top, and lots of TVs for a very casual feel. Maybe would have been more appealing to sit in on not as busy of a day. Recommended and glad we have it here now

The bar seats are the best and very comfy! They should consider extending the bar. I already had a drink in hand from Cherry Street, otherwise I would've grabbed one of their draft brews. I ordered the Chicago and Hawaiian. Listen, there is honestly no wrong dog here. Both I ordered were complimented well with the toppings, and the buns were just slightly toasted. If you're a hot dog lover, this is a must stop for you. What more can I say? It's also a good spot if you have children in tow (although I still am not a fan of kids being at breweries - personal opinion because I like having some peace without screaming kids). Try it out!

I knew it wasn't going to be super cheap, but I wanted to try something special and let the cost fall where it may. First we had a couple beers while we waited for the food, which was nice. The food maybe took 10 mins or so, it was pretty quick. The loaded fries were amazing! Underneath all the goodies, the fries were still crispy and delicious, so you know it was made very fresh. Some of the hot dogs pieces were a little over cooked, but they were minimal. Now the dog....holy moly! This thing was an absolute beast. It was literally a foot long, but the girth of this thing was just crazy. I'm usually a pretty big eater and I hadn't had much to eat before arriving. This dog gets real messy real quick. I don't think you would be able to handhold this dog for long without the bun giving up on you. I had 2 bites handheld and then went to fork and knife. I ate 90% of the dog, but I was miserably full. Don't say I didn't warn you! Definitely give this place a try, it was pretty awesome!!!!

My family and I visited your location for dinner late Sunday evening, August 16, 2026. We have…read morevisited this location several times, and overall, we have had positive experiences. During this particular visit, however, we noticed several concerns that we wanted to bring to your attention. First, the restaurant floor was extremely wet and slippery. We are not sure what cleaning product is being used, but the floor remained wet for an extended period of time. We understand the importance of keeping the restaurant clean, but the floor should also be safe for customers and employees. We recommend ensuring that floors are properly dried after cleaning and that any cleaning products being used do not leave the surface excessively slippery. We also noticed that the dining area was unusually warm. It appeared that the air conditioning may have been operating in the back of the restaurant where the employees were working, but the front dining area did not seem to have adequate air conditioning. The only noticeable air movement in the customer seating area appeared to be from a ceiling fan running at a very low speed. The temperature made the dining experience uncomfortable. We ordered the snack tray meals three of them, which was seven dollars each. You could pick up to four items which is very affordable for a family. If you would like to upgrade to a shake, you can do so for additional dollar 50 the cheese curds are very good. The burgers are good as well. The chicken nuggets were decent. The fries were good the okra you get a nice portion of it but it needs a little bit of seasoning on the okra. In our opinion a little salt, pepper, and or seasoned salt is needed. In addition, my husband used the men's restroom and noticed that there was no soap available in the restroom. There were also gnats/insects present in the restroom area. While we did notice a sink with a soap dispenser in the restaurant lobby, customers using the restroom should not have to leave the restroom to find soap. Because this is a restaurant serving food to the public, proper sanitation and cleanliness are extremely important. Restrooms should consistently be clean, stocked with soap, and free of insects. We would strongly recommend that management implement regular restroom checks throughout the day to ensure that soap and other necessary supplies remain available and that the area is properly cleaned and maintained. We want to emphasize that the food during our visit was hot and fresh, and the employees we interacted with were friendly. These concerns are specifically related to the conditions we observed during this visit. We have been to this location multiple times, and this was the first time we noticed these particular issues with the air conditioning, slippery floor, and men's restroom. We are sharing this feedback because we believe these matters can be addressed and improved. We appreciate your attention to these concerns and hope they will be reviewed with the appropriate management and staff to help ensure a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for customers. Thank you for taking the time to review our feedback. We look forward to seeing improvements during our future visits.

Meaning, these are HUGE, jumbo-sized corn dogs made with rice flour...and the flavors are solid, and so is the luscious cheese pull (on the Potato Mozzarella)! Like most/all chains, you can top the corn dogs with Sugar Powder...and think they had 5 different sauces to use freely. BTW, like many Korean corn dog chains, Ssong's is also a legit chain making its way around America. Living in the South, I've only tried 3 brands by now...and am itching to try the Two Hands brand!
