This falafel was off the hook!!! By far the best falafel I have ever tasted.

Being middle eastern myself and have had numerous shawarma, gyro and more food this place really disappointed me. I got the chicken shawarma plate, the rice was on the dry side, they the garlic dip was lacking flavor, the hummus need more tahini or something to give it a good flavor, the chicken was also flavorless. The service was good and food was ready pretty fast. The place is a little old with indoor and outdoor sitting. I had seen this on IG and thought it would live up to its hype but sadly it did not.

Got to go food but indoor seating was classic with art and pics from the Middle East. Ordering was easy as we did so online and service was quick. Falafel was not dried out like other places that are Mediterranean. It's our go to spot and chicken is the next thing I want to try there. We ordered 5 and all 5 were great!

Ate here a handful of times and it's always been good. I feel like they've updated their menu recently and the food has gotten even better! I usually get the chicken shawarma but decided to give the Lazeez 2 meat special a try and got it with half chicken half falafel. That was bomb and definitely my new goto along with a side of tabouleh. Owners are always nice. Great little spot.

My husband and I stopped by here for some light snacks on our way to our hotel for a quick weekend trip. We had dinner reservations elsewhere so we just grabbed some sides, so for fairness, I don't know how good any of their entrees or meats are. The location is easy to miss if you're not paying attention, tucked into a small business strip on a very busy road. It definitely fits the bill for cafe dining, basic table and chairs, so I wouldn't recommend for a date or anything like that. The food was very hot and fresh though. The falafel was very good, fresh, nice crispy exterior, and the sauces were delicious. The fries were fries. They were definitely made in fresh oil, they were hot and crisp, well seasoned, can't complain. The fried okra was a bit bland, it was cooked good, hot, fresh, crispy, just not much flavor. I had to add quit a bit of salt and dip it in the sauce to really get the flavor to come out. The hummus was the star of the show, beautiful creamy texture, perfect flavor, so smooth, and it was great with the cucumber chips but some of the cucumber looked old and should not have made it to the plate. Overall it was very clean, nothing over the top with the service, nothing horrible. I would be willing to stop by again next time I'm in Bee Cave because I would like to try their meats. I came here based on others reviews and I don't regret it, it was a good basic experience.

    Arabic Chicken Shawarma ($12)

Lunch at Lazeez after visiting Lake Travis. It was nearish to the Oasis that we thought it'd be worth stopping by. This place is really average, not bad but also not that great. Paid $12 for the gyro plate and $12 for the Arabic chicken shawarma plate. The gyro plate was better than the shawarma plate. The shawarma was drowned in garlic paste, and there were barely any pieces of chicken. Also the vegetables that came with it were really bitter and unappetizing. The gyro plate was really average, I wouldn't find myself craving it from here but it's a solid meat and rice combo. The hummus that came with it was actually yummy, but their pita bread was thin and dry. I think $12 for either of these plates is a lot especially given the amount of food but it's better than other things in the area. Lentil soup ($4) was good. Will mention they have a variety of vegan options! They have excellent service and the workers are patient while you order.

Ordered takeout from here, and it was pretty good! Lots of flavor but honestly nothing too special, your typical Mediterranean restaurant. Would love to try it again but it's kind of far from me

I…read morearrived around 1pm on a Wed and it was pretty hopping so don't expect it to be empty just because its a weekday! I put in a to-go order for a kibbeh wrap; the price seemed typically high for the area, but when I got my order its quite a sizable wrap so all-in-all a pretty good deal! The food did take about 20 minutes to come out- I wasn't going to complain as there was a line of people the whole time so I could tell it was busy, but when I did get my food they apologized for the wait and gave me some free baklava so even if there had been hard feelings that would have 100% fixed it lol I'm a huge baklava fan and had actually been considering adding some onto my order but didn't because of the long line! So service was great, but most importantly- the food! The kibbe wrap was huge; I managed to finish the whole thing but in two different sittings lol. The kibbe was generous, and the pieces were flavorful and juicy. The veggies were fresh and crisp, and the whole thing was lightly sauced but the flavor of the kibbe popped enough that I didn't think it needed more sauce. Delicious and I would 100% order again. Plus the (free!) baklava was top notch! Sometimes you get the ones where the filo dough is a little tough/chewy and it still tastes great but the texture isn't there- not with this baklava! It was tender, delicious, and a perfect end to the meal. Parking was limited on the street but I believe the Triangle has garages also- I was able to snag a short term parking spot for MezzeMe which is actually why I originally decided to check it out!

Lamb beyti - loved the flavors here, kinda was giving a Mediterranean take on ravioli in the to-go box. Not sure if that was meant to happen, but we enjoyed this and the sauce on it! Chicken shish kabob - The wrap was massive, missed on flavors here BUT quantity was more than enough. Falafel - about average? Overall the lamb beyti carried, and I'm curious to try everything more fresh!

The hosts and hostesses at the door were incredibly warm and welcoming and truly went above and beyond to find us a table on a very busy Saturday night. That level of kindness and hospitality meant so much to us. Our server, Wade, was wonderful--attentive, gracious, and made us feel so well taken care of. The food was exceptional: fresh, beautifully presented, full of flavor, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared. Even my kids ate everything they ordered, which may be the biggest compliment of all! Beautiful atmosphere, outstanding food, and genuinely wonderful service. We spent around $600 with tip and fees for 5 (mixed grill, two apps, two drinks each); and while the food was delicious the meats were luke warm not piping hot, our server while very friendly was not the best at giving suggestions (basically she said everything is good lol) and wasn't able to split the check 2/3 and 1/3 instead of 50/50 ("... I don't know how to do that"), and the cocktails while tasty didn't really feel special enough to be $21-25 each. It was a very enjoyable experience I just don't know that it lived up to the price tag. For that price I'm looking for exceptional not just very good. That being said the food was delicious! Pricey but pretty good portions. The server said the mixed grill was good for around 4 people, but with two apps it was actually a little too much food for the 5 of us. Mixed grill ($220): -Rosewood Wagyu Strip and Lamb Chops: tie between these two for the best dish; they were both juicy and tender and the sauces were delicious. Not served piping hot but they were so good I didn't really mind. -Harissa Marinated Beef Tenderloin: great flavor- a tad dry. -Spiced Lamb Kefta: also dry, I liked it best with the yogurt sauce. -Red Pepper Chicken Thigh: delicious, one of my fav kabobs. -Herb & Garlic Shrimp: tasty and not overcooked -Charred King Trumpet mushroom: loved the veggie option! they mushrooms were substantial and the sauce was great. -Crispy Shallot Hummus: very good- loved the crispy shallots in particular! -Manti Dumplings: top app- I would 100% order this again the dumplings were delicious and the sauce/yogurt on top of them was the best, we wiped up every drop with the pitas! -The pita bread was hot, fresh, and delicious and our service kept on offering more, so I don't know if they've changed their policy but my experience was not the same as reviews that said only one pita per person. We refused extra pitas 3 times I think! Cocktails- everything we tried was quite good, but again there wasn't the pizaz or just 'blown away by the flavor' to feel that the crazy price was totally justified. We tried: Spanish G&T (very refreshing- don't chew on the juniper berries lol), Banana Bread Old Fashioned (pretty good even for someone who doesn't much like whiskey!), Bonfire on a Beach (fun, smokey, love the harissa on the side), Peach Martini (teensy bit sweet for me but good). The manager stopped by a few times to check on us and our server was very attentive. She did give us good service its just for the high price I would expect some more detailed suggestions on drinks, being able to split the check other than 50/50 (or at least ask someone instead of just saying 'I don't know how'). It was friendly and enthusiastic service just not 'wow this truly is fine dining' service. Outside of the restaurant, parking is a bit of a pain but that is normal for down town. We parked at the Laz garage half a block away- $8 for 2 hrs instead of the $27 for valet.
