I tried the chicken shawarma wrap and it was fine, but I have to say that despite the inconvenience of Osmow's being a bit farther down Hurontario, I'm still more likely to go there than here. The chicken at Lazeez is so dark it's almost like eating beef. Not just a small portion of the chicken, but literally all of the chicken. If you're a massive fan of really dark chicken, maybe you'll like it. I don't mind some chicken this dark, but not every shred. And it's not even that I dislike "dark meat" chicken. I mean, I will eat thighs and drumsticks. I just don't even understand where this chicken is coming from because I've cooked thighs and they are never this dark. Seriously, their chicken looks like beef. Maybe even darker than beef. Also, I had this happen at the Creditview location so I guess they're consistent, but my shawarma was very unbalanced in composition. The veggies were on one side and the chicken and sauces were on the other. It was therefore hard to get all the flavours in one bite. I wish they would mix up all the ingredients before putting it in my pita if they can't do a better job of incorporating the ingredients during the assembly process. read more

Really good Shawarma and very fast service. The clean restaurant gives confidence to have an impromptu meeting with your colleagues. Reasonably priced too. Had a Chicken Shawarma that actually had a lot of chicken than the veges. I generally take it without Hamus and the white sauces. These guys knew how to compensate with just the right amount of hot sauce. The restaurant is always kept clean. I go there during as well as out of the peak times and it has always been clean. The service at the 200 County court location has been slowly going down over the past few years. I remember the days of when I used to order my food and I would get fresh meat cut off from the spit and heated up on the grill. The fries would be cooked to order and I'd walk away happily. I'd rant and rave to countless people about how delicious your food was. The past few times that I've gone to said location I was unable to get hot meat. I would ask if it was possible to get fresh meat off the spit and cooked to order and was told that that was no longer done and that the meat in the table warmer was"fresh". At the time I felt like it was a small sacrifice to make at my favourite takeout place. However today was really the last straw. Not only was I okay with receiving the cold meat but when asked for well done fries I was told that the fries in the metal bowl was "fresh", the gentleman passed me a fry and asked me to taste it and to see if it was "good enough for me" I said no. I still want well done fries. He then proceeded to explain to me that if he made fresh well done fries then he would just be putting it in the same bowel with the cold fries so it doesn't really make a difference. I had already paid and was starving at this point so I said sure... whatever. I am never planning on coming back here again anyways so what difference does it make to me? I guess the gentleman who cashed me out could see the dismay in my face so he told the other gentleman in their shared language and he proceeded to make two separate ordered with he old fries (I'm assuming for the skip the dishes pick up) and dropped in fresh fries for me. This experience with this location is exhausting. I'm tired of being treated like a subpar customer by staff who are too lazy to make fresh fries or meat. read more

The only reason I'm giving any stars at all is because of their portions! Their portions are huge, maybe even too big. We just moved in across the road and I was ecstatic to see Shawarma from my office window. I tried it once and I will NOT return. The chicken wasn't even white... it looked more like beef. It was very dry and pretty much tasteless. The vegetables seemed almost soggy as if they'd been sitting for far too long. The rice was mush. The potatoes were dry and tasteless. They have free wifi here which is a perk. The prices on the menu isn't the same as their system in the cashier. Which means you're paying more than what you see on the screen so be careful. When you ask for hot sauce on the side for a to go order, check on the amount they give you before you leave because they fill the container 25-35% of the capacity so you're actually getting less. Pretty horrible customer service.. if you're unsatisfied with something in your own personal life do not take it out on the customer I asked the girl a question of something on the menu she was claiming as being unavailable. And instead of actually answering the question, she gave a look of annoyance and asked her coworker in their language to explain it to me (I'm assuming that's what she said). His answer resulted in me changing my mind because of a sizing issue and I chose to cancel my order. At which point the cashier girl rolled her eyes. I have been to this location 3 times. All in the same week. I don't get shawarmas very often so I never know how or what to order. I got the beef gyro with everything and it was amazing. I went back the next day and got the same thing but the larger version. Only get the large version if you are really hungry. It was a large serving with a generous helping of beef and toppings. I can't really remember the price so that's a good indication that it wasn't too high or low. Service was good, place was clean. Overall very satisfied. read more

The food here is amazing. I have been coming here since September, and enjoy the chicken on the rocks, and also the shwarma wraps. What makes this location better is the guys that work there. They are super friendly and quick to make your order. I don't just recommend the company lazeez, but would say come to this specific location. I don't live to far from here, and originally only came because of convenience, but it's the customer services that is keeping me coming back! read more
