Two months on, the (bad) hits keep coming. Read my original review for the woefully bad handling of my initial application. Now, even though I never ever went through with them, I have been receiving letters/emails since indicating "payment requested", "documentation requested", etc. to which every single time I've had to respond and call and confirm that I never went through with them. The stunning, most recent failure happened when we received a letter indicating that our coverage (what coverage?) was going to terminate and our policy (what policy?) cancelled, and that our lenders would be informed that we no longer have home insurance (!?) - at which point I had to call and explain to someone at the office that no, the most recent time when I said that I never went through with you (last week) was not the only time, and I had to tell *them* the date of the original notification, many months ago, about not using them for closing. Get it together! Stay away from this place as much as you can. read more

I've been with this insurance company and facility for 7 years. I use to love them, they've been good to me and really took care of me efficiently within the five years. For some reason the past 2 years they have been adding my dad to my policy because he use to have the same insurance and we use to live under the same roof. No matter how many times I call their office to tell them I have my own policy and my dad no longer resides in my household... To please take him off my policy. I guess the staff would pretend to take him off... But he would still be in my policy when the statement came. Then when they finally took my dad off the policy, guess what they did? They add my sister to my police for the longest and I've called their office time and time still the same thing. NOTHING!!!! I just confirmed with Lazena yesterday and we'll enough my sister is still on my policy. I am so done with this Insurance company. It caused my premium to up every time they add my dad and or sibling. read more

I have been a customer with Lazena Kelly-Andrada's State Farm office since 2004. I've always had good experiences with the office and the administrative assistants who work there. When my scooter was stolen (only 2 weeks after being insured!) my claim was processed promptly. During the past decade I've had to do a lot of long-term travel for my job, and it was easy for the office to make sure that my bills and insurance cards always were sent to the right place. They've even sent me PDFs of my insurance cards as well. I just got off the phone with them this morning to check on my comprehensive deductible, and my questions were answered immediately. I don't understand all of the bad reviews. Perhaps the office just needs better IT support? Or maybe a few people have bad experiences, but the vast majority of people who never have problems don't bother to review their insurance agent on Yelp. read more

I recently inquired about changes to my policy and I received the most superior service from a very knowledgeable representative who took the time explain services to me, what was in my best interest and made sure I was satisfied. Near the end of the call I felt compelled to ask whom I was speaking to because I wanted to write a letter to the owner to compliment the representative and low and behold, it was Mrs. Kelly Andrada herself. Terrible, terrible service. Lazena Kelly-Andrada's office has attitude and seems pretty incompetent. They hardly ever return phone calls and aren't really very pleasant or knowledgeable on the phone when you actually do talk with them. After waiting 3 weeks for a return call, I called and said their computers had been down for 3 weeks and just happened to be up again that morning. ?!?!? Sounds like a dog-ate-my-homework excuse. I've experienced this sort of behavior with them before and finally decided to find another agent. It's something I should have done a long time ago. read more

RUN, RUN, RUN as fast as you can from this agency. We'd been loyal customers for many years (renters, auto) with no claims and no issues. When we purchased a home a few years ago, we quickly encountered how truly dangerously incompetent this office is. The assistants have astoundingly horrible customer service and about the same in terms of basic business and office skills, and the agent has no accountability whatsoever. If there's one thing you want in an insurance agent, it's accountability. We waited weeks -- WEEKS! -- for our phone calls to be returned, multiple times; meanwhile, our mortgage company had not received the proof of insurance, multiple otimes, and kept threatening to force us onto hyper-expensive mortgage-owned insurance (what a scam! but that's another topic). I hate to even give one star in order to post this; ZERO STARS is more accurate. read more

Worst agent and company. Unbelievable what I've been through the last 3 years and how after being hit by a guy who ran a red light talking on his phone and put on temporary disability for over a year and he only had $15,000 policy and State Farm is making me go into litigation and arbitration for my own underinsured limit. Staff are unresponsive, she has never lifted a finger to call nor help and I've only been mailed endless redundant forms and paperwork. I'm canceling my policy as we speak and telling absolutely everyone I know that State Farm is terrible worst than terrible. I've been with them for 30 years and this treatment is unconscionable. I've been a customer since 2012. Every time I've ever had a reason to call, they've been very helpful in resolving my issue. Cristal especially is wonderful! Whether it's on the phone or by email, she's been professional and very prompt with fixing problems. They've handled various policy updates quickly, sending me an updated declarations page usually the same day. I just reported her to the Better Business Bureau because she kept charging me after I cancelled my policy. Then she sent me bills to pay the cancelled policy. I e-mailed and called her office repeatedly and left at least four messages because I wanted to be reimbursed for insurance I had cancelled back in November of 2014. Finally, Lazena called me back and was extremely rude to me, interrupted me when I was telling her what had happened, and then she began to yell at me. Finally, she ended the conversation by saying State Farm did not want me as a customer and then hung up on me. I could not get over how unprofessional she was to me. She still has not told me whether or not I will get my money back. I am a teacher and I do not have much money to begin with. I changed policies in November in order to get a teacher discount through California Casualty. I am so glad I have a different insurance company. I do not trust State Farm if they hire people like Lazena to handle their insurance matters. read more

Lazena Kelly- Andrada has been my Insurance agent for over 10 years and I must say that I have been extremely happy with the service that I have received from Lazena and her staff. My family has several lines of insurance with this agency, including homeowners, auto insurance, whole and term life. We receive phone calls and post cards to remind us when it is time to make changes to our current policies. They also contact us regularly to determine if our needs have changed or if any new events in our lives may warrant a policy review. Lazena is very informative and goes the extra mile to make sure that her customers understand the various insurance policies available and their benefits. She encouraged us to keep older whole life policies that were with other insurance companies , when other agents I considered insisted that I should replace them with their products... Later we realized that I am no longer eligible for preferred rates due to illness and a comparable policy written today would cost me significantly more! We were amazed and grateful for her honesty. Wildly incompetent. Due to mis-information about my policy, I have been requesting a return phone call for 2 weeks. When I do manage to get a hold of an admin, I'm told that the agent is 'in a meeting' and that she'll 'return my call as soon as possible', which is....never. I was also told that my policy had been cancelled even though I had paid the premium. Go to another agent--there are tons of other State Farm reps around. read more
