Located in a small business strip at the end so you kind of don't know it is there and doesnt look very fancy from the outside (you see a barber shop right before you see Lazi Cow. But when yoi walk in, you notice the cute decor and various seating areas. They have boba drinks, snacky type foods, and rolled ice cream. You can even order your drink with a cute glass reusable cup that you can bring back and get a discount on future drinks. We were in the area, I had a reward and I've had this location bookmarked! It was a sign to stop in! We ordered the Black Hammer Rolled Ice Cream and Sugar Daddy Drink. The best part is watching them make the ice cream rolls, a big thumbs up from daddy and daughters! My go-to was very sweet and yummy as always! I love this place. Having this location in Davis is really nice especially for families and students. Whether you walk, drive or bike, you will find this Lazi Cow easy to access. You must try their delicious bites. I do love their Davis specific sticker. Their glass bottles are wonderful and fit the boba straw perfectly. The staff here are really nice and helpful. There's some parking in the shared lot and on the street. Of course there's plenty of places to lock up your bike. I'm just very upset that I called to confirm their hours, (since on all of there websites it has different closing hours) I called about 7:40pm and the person that answered said they closed at 11pm. Came in on 1/31/26 with the family after dinner, this location is located on G st in Davis, CA. When we walked in, the ambiance of the restaurant was bright and casual. The staff members were courteous and knowledgeable. They even said they recently finished renovating this location as I remember seeing a swing at this location that it's not here anymore. I not only love their boba milk tea, but also their glasses, open seating, swing, and the best cow bench ever. I have always loved to collect the jars and bring them back for refills later on. While it is named lazi cow aint nothing lazi about the workers. Everytime I pull up I'm in n out. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful when I was ordering the roast and still deciding what stuff to put on it. The brick toasts do take a little longer to make with ~20-25 minute wait times for the single brick toasts. The waiter brought it out to the table. Good drink.. weird goo? When I bought my drink at Lazi Cow I was delighted to see they had an option for a reusable glass cup and was even more delighted it was an option for my order! I was super happy with how cute the glass cup was and the drink was delicious! However... when I got home and tried to clean by glass bottle to reuse and keep clean... I discovered there was this pink hardened substance at the bottom of the bottle... Scrubbing, picking at it, soaking in hot water... nothing can get it off and I'm not sure what it is.. I would recommend going here for a nice drink, and for the nice staff, but check the glass bottle first.. Update: After multiple rounds of boiling water, the pink stuff seemed to shrink and harden when dried. I was able to peel it off using a knife. It seems to be thin plastic/resin.. but the bottle is now clean glass! Only a little concerned the substance was in my bottle when I drank the boba.. but other than that all good! read more

Inside there's lots of tables and seating, a cute seating area in the front with the cow bench, and a swing. I can see this place being packed when school is in session. There were a few groups studying. The menu was the same as the other location. I got one of the summer specials, with chamoy. I think it was grapefruit and mango. No tajin please. D1 got something similar to a strawberry matcha latte but said she tasted nothing but milk. And D2 got her usual Poggers, which is no longer on the menu but another summer special. And bc we spent more than $20 we got to spin the wheel and lucked out with a free appetizer. We chose the popcorn chicken. It could have used more seasoning it was kinda just blah. We got 3 new glasses thankfully. Would we stop again? Not likely as the Roseville or even Arden locations are closer to where we go in Sacramento. read more

I've been here several times and I can't believe they have already been open for 10 years. That has an awful lot! This is definitely a service forward business. Everybody is always so helpful. This is great because the menu can be a little overwhelming. So many choices! I noticed that they have a tipsy cow menu. Cow tipping means something very different in Texas than it does here these are over 21 drinks. I have yet to try one, but they sure looked delicious. I've had a few things. Most recently I tried the mango smoothie drink, which was absolutely awesome. It had those little popping Boba, which were a surprise treat. Typically I like a jasmine milk tea with very little sweetener. I'm weird that way. The great thing is that most of their drinks are adjustable when it comes to sweetener and they are more than willing to help you get the drink you want. They have drinks, a lot of appetizers, mostly fried, and a cute little youthful vibe. There are table games and one cute table where the seat is actually a swing. Gotta love it! Stopped by here with a friend on Sunday since I've usually seen this location being posted by UC Davis students. My friend got the Love Galoreo, and I got the Pina Cowlada. We both agreed that while our drinks were good, they were very sweet. If you're not into very sugary options, you wouldn't enjoy this place. The mainland Chinese and Taiwanese boba places tend to have adjustable sugar levels, so I was a little disappointed that they didn't offer it here for the specialty drinks. The milk tea bottles are very cute and reusable, which I love. I paid around $7 for my drink, and the aloe and lychee toppings made for a very refreshing beverage after my meal. read more

I loved Lazi Cow when it first opened back in 2014. However, after a recent visit, I am super disappointed. First of all, the menu has shrunk in comparison to what it was. Much fewer flavors for tea as well as the other foods. I am so sad they don't sell brick toast anymore! The drinks were fine, but with the smaller menu, they've also increased the price big time. They use glass containers (rather than disposable plastic) which I'm sure is factoring into the price. I would much rather save $2 and not get the branded glass each time you order. The wait for the boba was also quite unreasonable. We had to wait over 15 minutes for 2 drinks. I used to love Lazi Cow, but I don't think I'll be back. There are a lot of cheaper boba places in Davis which are equally as good (if not better). read more

I've been a loyal Lazi Cow customer for a while now. It's one of my favorite Boba places and I'm someone who gets milk tea almost weekly. Bear w me for this long review, lots to say about my relationship w this place. To be honest, this place has had a few misses. Once they messed up my friend's order and the milk tea tasted so bitter and Boba was un-fresh (only happened once). Another time, I tried using my student hooked app discount here which my friend has used MULTIPLE times, but I guess the employees that day weren't familiar the day I decided to use it. They tried to verify it with each other for 5-6 mins and at the end said we don't know if this is legit but we'll give you the discount anyway. Another time I went they ran out of the glass cups and used plastic cups - I understand that restaurants run out of supplies, but I took a friend from out of town here and I was super excited to get her the glass souvenir :((( . I also wish they restored their old decor - really added a vibe to the place. Lastly, last time I went prices shot up. To summarize, my negative experiences and constructive criticism are related to some kind of lack of consistency. BUT... This experiences were only like 5% of my visits and the tea is so good that I've always returned. This is def the best Boba place in Davis. I love the sustainable reusable glass cups concept. The menu is unique and extensive - this is great for Boba lovers who know what they're doing. My favorite order here personally is the charcoal rose milk tea with the Boba pearls. A few notes for someone new here/new to Boba milk tea: - If you have no idea what to get, don't get a custom drink and go for one of the house milk teas with Boba. - This drinks are way sweeter than other places. If you like drinks on the sweeter side like me, I'd still go with 75%. - I always do less ice, it keeps my drink cool enough. Not about to waste precious tea space for some ice cubes. Mainly came here because I wanted to bring my kid to check out the swing in the dinner and the cute decor. Luckily we were able to get the swing table because there is only one. We also wanted to sit on the cow design seat but it was occupied. Spacious area and lots of tables. Lots of parking and street parking. The place is at the end of the parking lot next to Taco Bell. Pretty design outside in the parking lot on the Taco Bell side wall. We had fried dumplings since that's our favorite appetizer, we were getting our main meal else where but like I said I really wanted to just let my kid enjoy the swing hehe. I would like to come back and try other items next time. I definitely recommend this place for snacks and tasty treats. I loved Lazi Cow for the longest but I typically go to the one in Arden since I live closer. When I went in again, I realized that they completely changed the menu. The Pros are that they have a lot new menu items even Alcoholic Boba.... Interesting. The location is a little hidden and it's a cute area to hang out and eat. My classmates had been hyping this place up for a while so I wanted to check it out. Upon coming in you're hit by a powerful but not overwhelming scent of food and sweetness. The menu is a little overwhelming but there's so many good options for both food and drinks to choose from. I ordered a pork fried rice (10.99 + tax = 11.90). It came out in about 10 minutes. The pork is absolutely delicious but the rice itself is quite oily. It leaves a bit of an unpleasant sensation in the mouth though the taste overall is a bit average. It's not overly seasoned but it's not plain either it's a neutral in-between. The rice is very soft and fluffy but there's no sense of crispiness. Some of it is still white as well meaning they mostly just dumped the ingredients in but didn't try to emerse the ingredients togetheI'd give it 3/5, probably wouldn't get it again. I think if they reduced the oil used and cooked the rice for longer it would be better. The tables are also pretty sticky as well. The glass jars they use for milk teas is really cute though! But they use whole milk which I can't have so I asked for a black (oat) milk tea with lavender and taro, and egg pudding 100% sweet. Each place makes this differently so I wanted to try it here. It was alright. The egg pudding was pretty grainy and the drink felt too thick but it might've just been the oat milk. It was $7.20 with tax. I'd give it also a 3/5. Overall Lazi Cow is a pretty decent place to stop by if you're in the area with a few friends but it didn't live up to its hype for me. read more
