Came in on 1/31/26 with the family after dinner, this location is located on G st in Davis, CA. When we walked in, the ambiance of the restaurant was bright and casual. The staff members were courteous and knowledgeable. They even said they recently finished renovating this location as I remember seeing a swing at this location that it's not here anymore. I ordered the Black Hammer rolled ice cream. Black Hammer was really good. The mixing flavors of brownie and Nutella with vanilla soft serve was great; not too sweet, not too bland. Even my 9 year old daughter loved it since she dislikes vanilla ice cream. Thank you Lazi Cow. We will be returning again and again:

One of my favorite boba places ever! I've been a fan for at least 10 years at this point. I not only love their boba milk tea, but also their glasses, open seating, swing, and the best cow bench ever. I have always loved to collect the jars and bring them back for refills later on. They have always been the most creative. My long time favorites have been their taro and matcha milk teas with boba. My more recent favorite has been the brown sugar milk tea (sometimes with brown sugar boba too). Honestly you can't go wrong with anything you order!

The place has a lot of open seating with a lot of black and white decorations (cause of the cow theme). The staff was pretty friendly and helpful when I was ordering the roast and still deciding what stuff to put on it. The brick toasts do take a little longer to make with ~20-25 minute wait times for the single brick toasts. The waiter brought it out to the table. Single Brick Toast: Vanilla and Matcha Ice Cream, Strawberry and Condensed Milk Drizzle, Pretzels, Madeleines, and the Cone Wafer The brick toasted great. The ice cream paired well with the buttered toast and I especially loved the Madeleine toppings. A pretty solid dessert from this place.

Came at opening so it was nice and empty for a quick drink! Cashier was nice & friendly. Got the strawberry rose matcha drink and the black sesame drink. Both were tasted and pretty! Was bummed about coffee machine not working at the time as I had originally wanted a drink with espresso or coffee in it but that's ok. Decor inside was so cute! Love it!

Good drink.. weird goo? When I bought my drink at Lazi Cow I was delighted to see they had an option for a reusable glass cup and was even more delighted it was an option for my order! I was super happy with how cute the glass cup was and the drink was delicious! However... when I got home and tried to clean by glass bottle to reuse and keep clean... I discovered there was this pink hardened substance at the bottom of the bottle... Scrubbing, picking at it, soaking in hot water... nothing can get it off and I'm not sure what it is.. I would recommend going here for a nice drink, and for the nice staff, but check the glass bottle first.. Update: After multiple rounds of boiling water, the pink stuff seemed to shrink and harden when dried. I was able to peel it off using a knife. It seems to be thin plastic/resin.. but the bottle is now clean glass! Only a little concerned the substance was in my bottle when I drank the boba.. but other than that all good!

Staff is very helpful and nice. We got 3 items and everything tasted great. There is a lot of room inside the space for kids to play and enjoy their snacks.

Some changes to their menu which includes more snack items. Ordered at the front register, the workers are super nice and patient. Ordered a brick toast and a jasmine green tea. Disappointed with the single "brick toast" ($11.99), in quotes because I am not sure if you can call it a "brick toast." The single "brick toast" comes with two flavors of ice cream and, up to 3 toppings and 3 drizzles. The piece of bread seemed like a slice brioche bread, not much toast. The popcorn chicken does not have enough of the spice flavor, bland. As for the positive, the tea is fragrant. Plenty of seating and fun decorations.

    Love the Glass tumblers!!

I got the Moodoo & it was sooo good! It is strawberry rose matcha. I ordered it with boba & half sweet (it was still plenty sweet). The glass tumblers are only a dollar and really cute!

Headed back to the Bay Area, and made a side trip to Davis for the boba, the sticker, and the glass bottles. Lots of parking shared with a barber shop. Inside there's lots of tables and seating, a cute seating area in the front with the cow bench, and a swing. I can see this place being packed when school is in session. There were a few groups studying. The menu was the same as the other location. I got one of the summer specials, with chamoy. I think it was grapefruit and mango. No tajin please. D1 got something similar to a strawberry matcha latte but said she tasted nothing but milk. And D2 got her usual Poggers, which is no longer on the menu but another summer special. And bc we spent more than $20 we got to spin the wheel and lucked out with a free appetizer. We chose the popcorn chicken. It could have used more seasoning it was kinda just blah. We got 3 new glasses thankfully. Would we stop again? Not likely as the Roseville or even Arden locations are closer to where we go in Sacramento.

Came back for happy hour. Love the glass bottles. No one was here when I stopped in around 2ish on a Tuesday afternoon. Grab a free sticker after you order. Super cute! I'll definitely be back.

    Check out that swing!

I've been here several times and I can't believe they have already been open for 10 years. That has an awful lot! This is definitely a service forward business. Everybody is always so helpful. This is great because the menu can be a little overwhelming. So many choices! I noticed that they have a tipsy cow menu. Cow tipping means something very different in Texas than it does here these are over 21 drinks. I have yet to try one, but they sure looked delicious. I've had a few things. Most recently I tried the mango smoothie drink, which was absolutely awesome. It had those little popping Boba, which were a surprise treat. Typically I like a jasmine milk tea with very little sweetener. I'm weird that way. The great thing is that most of their drinks are adjustable when it comes to sweetener and they are more than willing to help you get the drink you want. They have drinks, a lot of appetizers, mostly fried, and a cute little youthful vibe. There are table games and one cute table where the seat is actually a swing. Gotta love it! They do have a small parking lot out front so if you are lucky enough to get a spot, you won't have to walk. Congratulations on 10 years!

Ask the Community - Lazi Cow

Is this a good place for working?

Working as in studying? Not really, the place has dim lights and they have games there so it usually gets pretty loud when kids or big groups go there.

When will you be getting the glass bottles back? Lost mine. :(

They're back you just request them

    Do they havedairy free boba?

Yes there are dairy free options.

Can you return the glass bottles they give/ask them to refill your old one?

Hi, if you don’t want the glass bottle, please leave it in the store and we can reused it. Thank you so much

I sat at the sushi bar. It took quite a long time for someone to come over and take my order. And it also took a little while for my sushi and sashimis to come out. One thing that grosses me out a little bit is that my soy sauce dish is oily. But I can't wave anyone down so I used it anyways.. The sashimis are fresh. And they give really big pieces too so it is great value. The Madai sashimi still have scales on them tho that was a little surprising in texture. The nigiris are in massive pieces. Which again I appreciate the value. However, the uni was visibly dark in color in some piece. I thought it might be a regional character (cuz uni from different place can have different colors). But upon first bite it tasted a little stinky which is not how it's supposed to taste. To be honest, I would rather have less uni and smaller nigiri if I can just have fresh fish. When eating raw fish freshness is a huge priority. This dinning experience too way longer than expected. And I'm very disappointed in the freshness of an expensive ingredient. I do hope they improve and succeed as it's been in Davis for so long.

I went from a thin top to a medium weight sweater. We arrived in Davis I grabbed my jacket to pair with my sweater. Today was a day spent exploring Davis to see the California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Arts (CCACA). What a great Conference. We come each year for this Conference and explore Davis every time we are here. After exploring the first building of the show it was coming on time to eat. We looked around the current shopping center and my husband didn't see anything he was craving. He said we'll go more into town and look for a noodle place. He said he remembered one from our last visit, down one of the alleys. Walking up the street we saw a couple of advertisements. A sandwich board was on the sidewalk for Davis Noodle CIty, the exact place we were looking for. The little Noodle Shop in the alley. We weaved through the other businesses, past the dumpling restaurant, past the outdoor seating and to the front door of the Davis Noodle City Restaurant. The out door seating looked really welcoming, but it was chilly out so we opted for eating inside with the other table that was occupied. There were 3 parties eating outside when we arrived. When we walked inside we were greeted and told to take any table. We choose a table in the corner. The menus were under the glass table top, keeping it clean and easy to read. Each place setting had its own copy of the menu. After looking at the menu, remembering what was offered on the sandwich board in front, and cross referencing it with Yelp Reviews we started ordering. We opted for the Five Spice Beef Noodles, and I asked if that was a good option and she said it was their top seller. The Yelp Reviews were only ok for that dish, but I took our chances. The second dish we ordered was the Dan Dan Noodles She tried to upscale us to the one with vegetables, but that dish was a cold dish so we when for the standard Dan Dan Noodles. Both dishes came out quickly. The Dan Dan noodles were not spicy as I anticipated, which was good, I wasn't really looking for spicy. I liked the flavor and realized that if you mixed it up there is a sauce on the bottom that is really tasty. Dan Dan Noodles ($8.25 a steal) is a solid dish and I highly reccomend it. It's a great bowlful of noodles. If you are hopping for other ingredients you are out of luck, it's 100% noodles with a sprinkling of peanuts on top and a sauce on the bottom. The Five Spice Beef Noodle Soup ($12.75)was as described in the reviews. It comes with American Broccoli and carrots. The beef is so good it melts in your mouth. The broth is minimal and lacked flavor. I'd think that it's advertised as Five Spice that it would have more flavor. I don't reccomend it if you are looking for a strong flavor. If you are looking for great meat, that melts in your mouth, but is also a little fatty then you have the perfect dish. Both dishes came with fresh noodles, none of those dried and rehydrated noodles that some places serve. The noodles on both dishes were different and pleasant. I highly reccomend their fresh noodles. Customer service was good. She came to check up on us and was pleasant. Parking is street parking. And they have a bathroom on site that is clean and well stocked.
