This was amazing. The comedy combined with the history was so much fun! Definitely recommend if you are in Asheville to do one of these.

We had an absolute blast on the ghostly La Zoom tour last night! The actors were amazing, and I loved how they tied in the public for an act as well! Zelda Fitzgerald would not have been complete without a dog running at her full speed! I love the ability to purchase drinks at the main hub as well as snacks! The packed cooler is an added bonus! I hope this becomes an addition in Charlotte as well!! I definitely recommend this tour if you're looking for a night of laughter and amusement! Thank you La Zoom!

The la zoom ghost tour of Asheville was so much fun! We joined as part of a wedding excursion and we're unsure we wanted to go, but ended up having an absolutely incredible time! The tour guides and actors were amazing and so hilarious the whole bus was cracking up the whole time. Very fun that you can get drinks and bring them on the bus, and also extra nice that they give you little cooler bags to bring with you on the bus. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone I know coming to visit Asheville, it was such a fun time!

Did the Hey Asheville tour last week. So much fun! Learning interesting facts while laughing is THE way to go. Both entertainers were great but our main tour guide, "Cookie," was fabulous. Just one note for those with sensitive ears: don't sit directly under a speaker - it can get loud!

La Zoom reopened while I was in Asheville and I knew I needed to take a tour. I'm happy I did and Bridget was the best! She was both funny and creative and yet empathetic to the current situation. She is very talented! The tour route is slightly changed because of road closures. But the tour is the same with the comedy and history provided as the tour goes on. It still provides the escape needed. The La Zoom Room is a fun place to hand out before the tour starts. They have a bar with alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages and some snacks. Remember to check in first to receive your chicken to board the bus.

What a strange ghost comedy show. You must enjoy quirky stuff or this may not be for you. We impulsively bought tickets as we were walking by with our adventure cat. The staff was sooooo accommodating but even for a highly flexible and adventurous cat, this show was a bit too loud for him. He handled it like a champ but it was a cat-parenting fail. The staff was sweet to him and the show was funny (and quirky). It's a fun experience in Asheville.

My friend and I went to La Zoom comedy tour when we were in NC. It was definitely a different way to see the city. I would highly recommend going there if you're looking for tours. They start you off with giving a rubber chicken with a number. Once they call your number, you can go on the bus. As you're on the tour, you can have adult beverages. Throughout the tour, we met other actors that would climb on the bus and have some sort of funny dialogue. The tour guide was very interactive with the guests and knew how to work the audience. About halfway through, we stopped at a local brewery for about 10-15 mins. Once the tour was over, they had a comedy night/open mic where you checked in. I would definitely recommend doing this if you're in town.

I thought the guy that started out talking to us was dynamic & funny until our actual tour guide, Cookie Carter, came on the bus. She was hilarious & delightful and I really appreciate her positive spirit! The guy's comedy bits were a little corny, but the bee was the funniest. The only thing I wish was different was instead of the beer stop (which was awesome for a bathroom break), I wish we could have had some of those Sammie's ICE CREAM SANDWICHES! We kept meaning to go by there, but wasn't able to this visit. Cookie really sold us on that ice cream. Lol. I would want to bring everyone I know on this tour! The hardest part was trying to figure out parking, but the garage across the street was perfect because it was only $5, I think. We just had to figure out how to drive past and find a uturn to get back to it.

The team was very accommodating, had great communication and got us set up for the exact date and time we had hoped for. On the day of our tour, we met our awesome guide, Michael, at the first brewery and the day began. Michael was a wealth of knowledge, not just about the beer industry itself, but the craft beer movement in Asheville, the history of Asheville, and so much more. At every brewery he took us to he really had the inside track, knew everyone there, and was able to give us the perfect blend of history, education and beverages. Since we had already been to one of our planned stops earlier in the week, Michael was quick on his feet to identify another venue that had a fantastic selection and location. One of my favorite parts of the tour was getting to experience certain types of beer that I would otherwise shy away from. At the start of our journey, Michael asked our group what we liked, what we didn't like and from there, he really expanded all of our pallets and showed us just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what Asheville breweries have to offer. Even if you've been to every brewery, even if you're in Asheville expert, everyone can benefit from this tour, it was informative, entertaining and refreshing.

This tour was a high point of our visit. Really helped us navigate the Asheville craft beer scene. Highly recommend and you can't go wrong with this tour!!

Due to the hurricane, I had asked to reschedule my booking to the end of March 2025. I had put down an over $1000 deposit, which I was told was fully refundable at the time of my booking. At first J.C. was very communicative and said that he was happy to reschedule and that he would send the updated paperwork. However, I never received the updated paperwork and tried over 3 months to get a response from J.C. as to whether Asheville Brews Cruise would still be able to provide a tour for my bachelorette. With no response, I assumed that Asheville Brews Cruise could no longer support a tour for my bachelorette party and therefore booked a tour with a different company and asked for a refund of my original deposit. With again no response, in February, I finally tried messaging Asheville Brews Cruise over Instagram to get a refund on my deposit. J.C. finally responded and noted that he would reach out about a refund. But to this day I have still not received that refund after trying to communicate with Asheville Brews Cruise over email, text, and through multiple phone calls. While I understand that all businesses in Asheville are going through a hard time post hurricane, the lack of responsiveness over 5 months and failure to refund my substantial deposit has put me at my wits end. I would not recommend booking with this company for any future tours.

Absolutely recommend that

Evan was our host - he was super knowledgeable and we all had a really great time. We went to Burial, Green Man Brewery, and Eurisko's. Eurisko's had this grape musk beer; that was my favorite. Burial and Green Man did their best but they could not compete in the end and not everybody has what it takes. Only one trophy can be awarded but I still liked the other breweries we went to. If I were to review them separately, I would give very solid reviews. Eurisko's would get the best reviews though. I don't know why they call bachelor parties "parties" when they require a full weekend. Like if you were to have a bachelor party and it were only for one night, that would suck. That was a thought I had during this tour and I never would have had that thought if not for Evan - who absolutely rules. I plan to return to Asheville and take my other friends on this tour. I am looking forward to reuniting with my new lifelong bros at Mike's wedding in September I am taking applications for a plus 1 - hit me up
