I hadn't had my husbands favorite old sofa cleaned in ages primarily because it's so old, over 30 years, I didn't think it would survive a cleaning without unravelling or fraying. He loves the sofa but agreed that if Lazos couldn't clean it, we'd get rid of it. Luis spent hours on it. Cleaning each cushion one by one, moving the heavy stone coffee table to clean behind the sofa. This is a guy that really takes pride in his work! Unbelievable. I've never had a cleaner work so hard and be so conscientious. He worked for over 7 hours on the sofa and carpets without a break. It came out amazing! It's white not tan anymore. The brown armrests look like new. I was looking forward to getting a new sofa but my husband is happy this one can stick around for another decade. The spills of juice, eggnog, and coffee in the hallway carpet can now be forgotten too. The carpets look great, even the stairs that had a lot of wear look like new. You might be able to find cleaners that will work for less, but doubtful they'll do a job like Lazo's. There's a reason why they've been in business for 18 years. He's professional, he's careful with your belongings, respectful of your home and he has indepth knowledge of fabrics and a variety of cleaning processes and chemicals. I just had the most amazing experience with Luis, the owner of Lazo's Cleaning Solutions. I purchased a brand new white sofa and Luis came to my home to apply a protectant to help with stains. He was extremely professional and very nice. Unfortunately, a couple of days later I spilled something on the new white sofa. It took several washings to get the stain out. I called Luis to let him know my experience. Although, there is no guarantee on any of the protectants on the market, Luis felt so badly that he offered to refund the cost of the treatment! We have two very old couches we inherited from grandma. They had never been cleaned in probably 34 years so I browsed reviews to see who might be able to maybe steam clean them. I came across lazos and decided to give them a call. Luis answered quickly and friendly. We talked about it and I made an appointment for him to stop by next week. He gave me a fair quote and said he'd call before he came by. Next week came and Luis came by and gave me a fair consultation. He was cool and honest enough to tell me he could steam clean them with his machine but honestly, our couches were so old that if he did clean it, it would probably look worse or break because the machines are so strong and our couches were so old! Luis did a great job at my mother's house. The house has light beige shag carpet, so the dirt tracks really showed up. His steam cleaning equipment really did a great job, & at our request added extra treatment to remove odors and stains in one bedroom. I called a couple of different places and the price for 3 rooms on a truck-mounted steam cleaning system was only $80!!! I am so excited! The price I got from Peninsula Chem Dry was $225. :( Boo!
