We had the option to sit indoors or outdoors and chose the upper outdoor patio to enjoy the live music, while still keeping a comfortable distance so it wouldn't be too loud for Luna. I initially wanted to sit on the lower patio, which had heaters, but it was a bit of a walk to the bar and there weren't other guests down there at the time. When I mentioned being cold, a staff member kindly brought out a personal heater for me, which was a thoughtful touch. Several employees stopped by to chat about Luna--my favorite subject-and we bonded over our shared love for Labradors. The food and wine were both excellent; we even took home a few bottles. The view from this location was stunning--our favorite of the trip. It was the perfect place to sip wine, enjoy the scenery, and relax with our best pup by our side.

It's also pet-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. We tried a couple of wine flights, and there was a nice variety to choose from. The charcuterie board was fresh and well put together with a great assortment of cheeses, meats, crackers, spreads, and snacks. We also ordered a sandwich that was warm, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the chips and pickle. The staff was friendly and welcoming, service was quick, and everything we tried was delicious. The location is beautiful, and I think we'd have loved it more if the weather had been sunny/not rainy/warm, but with that said it was still a beautiful hillside (nice view of the mountain too). The setup is a little weird; it felt like the wine shop was set up in someone's garage and not really a legitimate wine shop. Their indoor seating was a little bit awkward and having a place for larger groups like ours to sit for a full tasting would've been appreciated. As it was, we had to crowd around a small bar table. The staff were friendly though, so overall it was quite a nice experience considering this is in somewhat rural Georgia. The bathroom setup is weird... again, didn't feel like I expected a winery to feel because the bathrooms are in a true 'outhouse' but they were clean. So that's just my personal preference. The drive is scenic along some winding roads with great views. The tasting room itself is near the top of a hill with great views of the surrounding vineyard and hills. When you enter you'll be greeted and offered a few different tasting options. You can essentially select your own from the offerings, including ciders. We both picked our wines, mine more white wine based and SCW went more for the reds. After a brief wait we were served. I didn't really enjoy the glassware that the wines are served in because they don't lend well to oxygen getting into the wine. I think this really detracts from the experience. Once we were about halfway into a tasting of wine then you could actually smell it much better. The wines themselves for me were hit and miss. The reserves were a bit better for me, but we didn't leave with any bottles. The tasting room is very nice, large, and has great views from any seat.
