Hidden gem, underrated, whatever words to describe the fact that you need to try this. Insane that it's built in a shelter next to a bar and you're getting quality, delicious pizza either with that coveted leopard spotted crust. Not skimpy on the toppings. Great flavor, chew, pricing all enjoyed on a spacious dog friendly patio at Dew Drop Inn. This pizza is genuinely some of the best in DC, I'll stand on that.

My wife and I met up with some friends recently at the dew drop and decided to order a pizza from Lazy Bones. Very high quality pizza. Truly a big fan. Look forward to trying other pizzas they have. Service was great. They have outdoor seating that nice when the weather is warm.

Came to Dew Drop Inn (dive bar) for the pizza at Lazy Bones, which is a separate structure outside of the bar, facing the patio. It's winter, so we head inside first, got a table, ordered drinks, and then scanned the qr code. Dew drop inn has stairs and multiple sectioned rooms. It's dark and loud, but the bartenders were friendly and the drinks were tasty. The happy hr ends at 6:30pm and is $2 off most drinks. We ordered appetizers to pass the time, but then realized it all had to be picked up. Not sure what the point of appetizers is if they're not "out" (or ready) before the main course. They should be renamed as "sides". Otherwise I really enjoyed the sides. The broccolini had a great sauce (yum). The pita with spinach and artichoke dip had more cheese than any other dip I've ever had, so it was a little difficult to "dip". Would recommend providing knives to spread the dip on the pita. The pita bread is basically a pizza dough, so it kinda feels like a diy spinach artichoke pizza The cheese pizza was standard. We ordered appetizers ranch dip, which was a hit (tastes homemade), and a hot honey, which wasn't as spicy as it could be but added a nice kick. The meat lovers had chicken thigh on it, but it was dry and rather flavorless. Wouldn't recommend it for the chicken, thought the sausage was good and the pepperoni was spicy. The best pizza imo was the mushroom one. It had caramelized onions and a white sauce but it's by far one of the better mushroom pizzas i've tasted in the dmv area. The crust and the sauce were perfect. The pizzas are 12" personal size so I observed most patrons ordered one each. Wouldn't mind returning on a warmer day to enjoy outdoors :)

Excellent vibes for a Sunday afternoon. The bar brought in live music and had plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the lovely weather. Ordering was easy and they texted you when it was time to come pick up your food. Drinks could be ordered at the bar but there were also some folks walking around outside taking orders and bringing them as requested. Pita cooked in a pizza oven is always a little superior than a normal oven in my opinion.

Great spot, with excellent pizza and friendly bakers. Perfect food for a night at dew drop, and very reasonable for the high quality pizza.

    Box with the deliciousness inside!

If you have not had the chance to stumble upon this stand when it pops up near you, shame on you…read more My god are these tacos delicious and made fresh when you order. But word of caution, get to them early, like almost as soon as they set up, because the goods go fast. We were lucky that for our lunch the one day they were set up on the Georgetown Capital Campus. We love when a food vendor is nearby. Especially here, they rotate who will be there and our luck was Taco Dirty To Me (love the name too). By the time we got there, between noon and one, we were made aware they were already out of two proteins. Not to worry, we still were able to satiate our need for tacos. What they did have left made for some happy bellies and repeat customers when they pop back up. With the limited selection I ended up with a Honey Sriracha Shrimp and two Bang Bang Cauliflower tacos. Then you just get to stand off to the side and watch them make the tacos fresh. As you wait to hear your number be called the smells makes your mind wander. Once they were ready they have foil available to keep them warm until you get to where you want to devour them. The shrimp taco was amazing. The lime slaw, scallion, and cilantro mesh well with the flavors. The Panko breading really makes the honey sriracha stick to the shrimp. Bang Bang Cauliflower, same breading, same mixture of items, but the sauce on this one has a bit of a kick, and it is so good. I can't wait for them to come back around the office. Check their socials for their monthly calendar on where they will be. You might be surprise just how near to you they might be. They are also available to cater an event to, so keep that in mind.

I've primarily had them from the GU Farmers Market. Each time, I've enjoyed them. They have…read morecreative options and the tacos themselves are substantial and filling. Definitely recommend!

I loved the spice on the crab fat lechon- wish the portion was a tad bigger tho! The fried rice, pancit, sisig, short rib, ube pancakes, and garlic rice were also fabulous. But the star for me was the fried adobo chicken. It was flavorful, crispy, and paired perfectly with the pickled veg. The pineapple ube tres leche ended the meal on a sweet note. My mistake not realizing it didn't come à la mode only downside was that the AC wasn't running well in the downstairs seating so it was quite warm. But overall, a great place to have a great meal!

On to the food. Absolutely delicious! Our tables had 4 big plates to share of each dish - Singkamas salad, ginataang karute, red snapper relleno, Spicy Adobo Fried Chicken, vegetarian pancit mahal, white rice, vegetarian lumpia, Brussels sprouts, short rib adobo. My favorite dish was the red snapper relleno 10/10 SO flavorful! Singkamas salad - 9/10 I loved how refreshing it tasted Ginataang karute - 5/10 I normally love mushrooms but I think the coconut flavor threw me off Spicy Adobo Fried Chicken - 10/10 So warm and crunchy and a little spicy kick Vegetarian pancit mahal - 8/10 It was good! White rice - What can I say, it was fluffy? Vegetarian lumpia - 10/10 - Crunchy and full of flavor and the accompanying sauce was perfect Brussels sprouts - 6/10 A little too cooked for my liking it tasted a little burnt. Short rib adobo - 6/10 It was so soft and tender I loved coming here and trying so many different dishes. It was also my first time trying Filipino food. Definitely recommend for big groups. Will come again next time I'm in DC!

That month I had started Uber driving, was in this area of DC, had heard good things about Wiseguy, and decided to eat here. Although I don't like paying to park just to simply eat a meal, I sometimes will make an exception for convenience and/or if it's a place I really want to go. But for the most part, I'll go to restaurant where they have free parking or at least I can find free parking near the restaurant. I remembered getting a parking spot very close and feel like I feed the meter like 50 cents in 2014 parking prices for a quick 30 minute meal. They have all kinds of varieties of slices from the standard toppings or just cheese to fancy ones. Although the pizza is fairly thin, but average for New York style pizza. I tried Andy's Pizza 11 years later in 2025, and while it was solid although not as good as Wiseguy, my real complaint with Andy's was that the pizza is very thin, where I was hungry very soon later; so a much worse value as pricing is comparable to Wiseguy. Wiseguy slices are big, and the pizza is top notch New York style. I went to this location a couple of more times after my initial August 2014 visit as I loved the pizza. Then, they opened up other locations. I went to Navy Yard one at least twice, once after a Nationals baseball game after a disappointing loss for my 4th favorite baseball team, Texas Rangers. Sorry Nats fans, but Nats are in my bottom 10 teams. I also went to Rosslyn & Pentagon City location, where parking isn't quite as bad. They even had a Wheaton Mall food court location, which I got to experience once, but they sadly closed. Every experience with Wiseguy has been positive.
