This is such a great date spot or get together with a group of friends or family. I've been to another one of swingers that I believe that it might have closed down. But this one is just as great and has a few games that we got to enjoy for 30 minutes free. So we took full advantage of that after we did the course. Now I'm not going to lie I didn't think the food would be as good as it was...but oh boy it was very good and cooked fast. I got some wings, guacamole and chips, and tacos and my man got a pizza. We didn't think the pizza would be a full pizza but it was like a large. The drinks we got were very good I got a raspberry lemons drop and orange creamsicle drink and he got his frozen margaritas. I also had a few glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon to round out the night. For a Thursday night it had a great amount of people not too crowded but not empty either. Swingers offers a range of fun activities for those 21 and over, but the service was consistently disappointing. We were checked for IDs outside before entering a well air conditioned space. The only genuinely friendly interaction we had was with the staff member at the front, who helped us book a mini golf game. We decided to grab food beforehand, which turned into an awkward experience. There was no clear host for seating, the bar was overwhelmed, and when we asked about getting a table and how ordering worked, we were met with noticeable attitude. The food also took quite a while to arrive, and the quality did not justify the wait. The pizza was sloppily made and comparable to Little Caesars. After eating, we lined up for our course. With our booking, we were given a scorecard and a list of rules. Some rules, like a maximum of six hits per person and waiting for each player to finish before starting, did not seem consistently enforced. At hole four, someone was supposedly meant to take drink orders, but like our other experiences, no one was there. Each hole had a pleasant garden aesthetic, though I wished there was more creativity or stronger theming. Despite the courses having DC inspired names, the designs felt fairly standard. We also tried the arcade, which included 30 minutes of unlimited play. Tickets could be used on claw machines for prizes like plushies, hats, and small items. There was a 30 second delay between swipes, and the system felt inconsistent. At times, the swipe would register without starting the game, forcing us to wait anyway. Several games were not functioning properly, including beer pong, and cornhole had stuck bean bags. With no staff overseeing the area, more machines became unusable as time went on. The arcade itself was still fun, but it would have been a better experience if more games were working and the space was less crowded. Toward the end, lines started forming for certain machines. I do not regret visiting, but the poor service makes it hard to justify returning. The arcade was a fun addition, but the mini golf itself felt average. I had such an amazing time at Swingers. I definitely prefer it over Puttery. This was my first time visiting Swingers for a date, and it exceeded my expectations. There was a long line to start golf, but the wait did not feel bad at all because the bar was great and the atmosphere was fun. They also had arcade games, and I believe they loaded about fifty dollars onto the game card for us to use. There was even a DJ playing, which made the energy even better. I went on a Friday night with a 9:30 p.m. reservation, and my date and I had an amazing time playing mini golf and enjoying the arcade. The bartenders were very personable and took good care of us. The roaming servers were also helpful and even assisted us with some of the arcade games. The food was good as well. They have about three food truck style options to choose from, including American and Mexican, and everything we tried was solid. Had so much fun coming here for a work party. It's a beautifully decorated space and each hole is like a cool little obstacle course. Nothing too hard, our group moved along pretty quickly and we had a great time. I've been wanting to try Swingers for a while and with friends in town, it was the perfect chance. It's a very cute spot. A round of golf is about 20 bucks per person for a 9 hole experience. We also added on some drink tickets. The drinkers were fine. Strong but not necessarily well crafted. The holes were really fun. I do wish it was longer but we made the most of our time by going to the arcade! That was fun BUT there were a lot of errors with games taking our money but not letting us play. The staff were helpful in getting us credits back but it was still rather frustrating. It's a great concept, specially for a date. The Good: clean, good vibe, the theme. Although, if it's supposed to project a 1920's vibe, employee should dress like that era. Not necessarily, but it would add to the vibe. The bad: the drinks are okay, it's a very small space for 9 holes. The website indicates to have "caddies" throughout the game for drinks, we only found 2. We entered the golf area without drinks and we got our drinks at the end of the course. I thought, the holes were going to be more complicated, very easy. The ugly: the experience is super expensive, I spent $90 for 2 people and 4 drinks combo. The drinks are expensive and not that great. I had an old fashioned, it was just alcohol and couldn't taste the bitters. Food, photos and fun! Swingers has a bit of everything. This place is part nine hole mini golf, part restaurant and part happy hour. The restaurant is located across from DuPont Circle metro, by Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Security checks id in front of the doors. Street parking is limited. Garages are available and can be pricey. The area is popular and gets congested during rush hour. Metro is the most practical way to arrive, unless your company provides shuttle service. I would not drive here. I didn't look up any bus schedules. The upstairs area is huge. If you don't want to golf, you can eat upstairs and enjoy the spacious area. The coat check area is efficient. You won't have to worry about losing your ticket. Guests enter their phone number and have their photos taken (similar to Costco). When you want your coat (or bags) just enter the last four numbers of your phone. The process was quick and easy. The upstairs bathrooms are colorful and huge. Pay attention to where the door is located. I tried to exit through the closet! The downstairs area was festive and fun. I attended a holiday party that was over the top. The nine hole golf area is featured across the giant space. You can watch your friends golf while eating. The seating is more comfortable by the rear bar area. The front has wooden benches and chairs. The restaurant is much larger than it seems. The "outside" area is enclosed and lovely. It reminded me of an upscale hotel lounge. Plush seating has blankets and heaters. Photo areas are available for parties. A popular backdrop is near the bottom of the stairs. You can stand on the "Olympic" podium or move it aside and take fun poses. I loved the festive decorations and fun party vibe. The food spread was varied and tasty. Three restaurants are located on the lower level. tuTaco had fajitas, fancy roll ups with potato and a yummy spicy drizzle. There were several Mexican items that were served by wait staff as we dined and additional items on the buffet table. Kneadza Pizza had a varied assortment of Neapolitan and freshly made pizzas. Other items included garlic knotties, which were my favorite. The sauces were tasty. The only detail that was inconvenient (and why I left a star off) was having no plates. There was plenty of pizza but it was challenging trying to fit a slice into a carton meant to hold fries or a burger. I finally asked someone for a plate. Lil Succotash provided burgers, wings and fries. Our private party took over the entire restaurant and golf area. Each guest could have two alcoholic beverages and endless non alcoholic drinks (soda, festive mocktails, sparkling water). Several bartenders served guests. The serving staff circulated throughout the lower floor, offering food from serving trays, supplying drinks and removing used containers and trash. If guests looked like they needed help, someone quickly stopped by and offered a napkin or assistance. Between the long buffet area with food from the three restaurants and the food served directly to the table, we were full and happy. This visit was so much fun. It was 9 holes and it didn't take very long, but they were fun holes. First and foremost, Sofia the caddy is the most beautiful person inside and out. Her love and attention to my daughter brought me to tears. She definitely went the extra mile and is a TOTAL gem!! She OOZES light and radiance and we need more of her in this world! Swingers Crazy Gold is probably my new favorite thing to do in DC! We were looking for something different that didn't entail hanging out in the DC humidity, and then I found Swingers! We came here with my brother and his wife on a double date. I was worried it would be a little boring, but boy was I wrong! The staff was nice, welcoming, and explaining all of the instructions and details. We were given a score card to keep the score. It was also not exclusively a young crowd, which was nice. The food was good and the drinks were legit cocktails - I paid extra for a float because I wasn't sure and that was unnecessary. It was fun to go through the course with drinks in tow, and the setup was spaced enough that you weren't waiting on the next set of golfers. I'm glad that you don't have to pay for a mini golf game just to hang out here, because I haven't done mini golf since I was a kid and I've got no interest in changing that. What I AM interested in are venues with fun vibes and great menus, and Swingers has both. The two levels have a bit of an upscale lounge sensibility, and the mini golf area on the lower level is really pretty to look at, and the beautiful floral decor throughout the whole floor made you forget you were in downtown DC. I came here because my Meetup group held an event here, so while the others played golf, I got a Ginger Ninja at the bar, which was surprisingly delicious. As people finished their game and exited the golf course area they joined my partner and I at the tables, which had benches to sit on - maybe not the most comfortable but a smart option to seat more people over a smaller span. The servers were super attentive, bringing out cups and bottles of tap water so we could refresh as needed. Between the cool people and the great ambiance, my partner and I spent close to 3 hours here without even realizing it. I'm still not coming here for miniature golf, but this will definitely be on my list of fun Dupont Circle spots to return to. read more

There are two mini golf courses here consisting of nine holes, each with varying degrees of difficulty, with one being the waterwheel course and the other being the clocktower course. Guests have a choice of many options food-wise , including American fare, Mexican street food, pizza, and sweet desserts. It is required that guests be 21 years of age to enter the venue. I came to this in-door golf/entertainment venue two weeks ago with work colleagues. There were two bus loads of us, and I assumed based upon the number of people we arrived with (over 100) that we'd fill the venue. However, upon entry, the venue was large enough to cater to my group as well as accommodate many others. We had an entire bar section downstairs reserved for our group with an open bar and selected bites. In this section, we were assigned waitstaff and two bartenders. As I wasn't feeling well during the time of my visit, I ordered a mocktail. Specifically, I ordered a mojito made with ginger ale and lime juice. This drink was refreshing and settled my stomach. Many in my group ordered mixed drinks that came out perfectly balanced and with little delay. The service provided by the staff for my group was prompt, efficient, and courteous. read more

I really enjoy coming here! The staff is beyond friendly and the experience is really fun overall. The course is decorated so pretty with big florals and the different lanes are very creative and challenging, but not too hard for your beginner. I'm not a huge fan of the food and sometimes it can be hard to time when you need to get in line to golf but once you start your turn on the course, you have such a great time!
