Lollipop Farm is composed of a board of individuals that turn a blind eye to animal abuse. They…read morehave refused to step in and help dogs that were chained up outside in temperatures well below zero. In fact dogs have froze to death due to their negligence. They also have lied to animal advocates regarding dogs being kept inside an abandoned "house" without heat, food and water- stating that they were taking a dog that was in a crate and had eaten his way through the side- and was stuck and bleeding, for help. Animal advocates watched them back a van in to "take the dog for medical help" while numerous Rochester PD stood guard on the property. However, it was later learned that they never removed the dog- it was all a staged game. Lollypop takes in thousands and thousands of dollars- pays their board of directors massive salaries and continues to abuse and mistreat animals. STOP SUPPORTING THIS TRAIN WRECK!! THEY ARE USING PUBLIC DONATIONS TO FUND THESE SALARIES-NOT PROTECT ANIMALS. After walking through the above mentioned house - through feces and urine and finding more than one dog in this type of situation, Reno DiDomenico, from Lollypop, stated that they don't take action because nothing is wrong. You do the math.

Extremely disappointed with the Greece Ridge Mall location. My parents recently lost their beloved…read moredog of 14 years, a dog they treated like family and spoiled every single day. Since losing him, they've been struggling with loneliness and depression, realizing just how much joy and companionship their dog brought into their lives. They were genuinely excited to adopt up to one year old and went to the shelter ready to give another animal a loving home. Instead, they were told by the woman running the location that they were "too old" to adopt a kitten and should only consider an older cat. My mother explained that several family members would gladly take care of the cat if anything ever happened to them. Despite that, the woman responded, "I've made a decision and the answer is no," and told them to leave. We understand shelters have adoption policies and want the best for their animals, but the lack of compassion, empathy, and respect shown to my grieving parents was heartbreaking and unacceptable. Nobody deserves to be treated that way, especially after coming in with love, good intentions, and a willingness to provide a safe home to an animal in need.

Village bakery and cafe is always great! This location in Pittsford is super convenient-- right…read morenext to Main Street and across the street from the library. It's often busy during peak hours, but I've always been able to find a spot on the patio. The patio is nice, tucked in next to the building. There's often some shade from the building over the tables. Everything that I've ever gotten from VBC has been delicious. The strawberry bliss cooler is my go-to since it's similar to a Starbucks strawberry açaí refresher, but the ingredients are simpler and the caffeine comes from green tea! I love to get a strawberry bliss cooler and an egg sandwich for brunch. My favorite egg sandwich was the Lilly, but since that has been discontinued, I build a similar sandwich with BYO.

THE ALMOND CROISSANT. It was genuinely the best thing I've had in 2026 so far. It was more dense…read moredue to the filling but still perfectly flaky. I'm not even a huge almond person but this changed my life's trajectory (all roads lead back to VBC now). The Betsy was also great, I wish I got some greens to pair with it. Cheese danish wasn't overly sweet either. Not depicted is a vanilla latte, a tad disappointed with it but only bc everything else was stellar and the coffee pales in comparison to the food. Incredibly friendly staff despite the line wrapping around tables. Would not suggest coming here on a weekend after 10am though, it was packed like a store on Black Friday before online shopping got popular. Wish there was more seating!
