Not even a hello. Items are beautiful, service is poor. Salespeople ignored me until I picked out some items. Although there were 2 salespeople, I was not acknowledged until I had selected an armful of items and then was offered a fitting room. Never was offered help afterwards. Would have liked to try on other options but was made to feel like a bother. Only one other customer at the time. Conversely, in shoe store, I had a very friendly, welcoming experience. Christine was very helpful, attentive even though there was another customer and she was only salesperson. She was very knowledgeable, offered various suggestions. I made a shoe purchase but did not make a in-store clothing purchase. Fortunately found clothing designers' web pages online and ordered directly from designers.

There was also WAY TOO MANY people who did not really need to be inside (like guys just standing around with their girl friends, etc. taking up space for other shoppers - just my opinion though). You can do a few short laps around different sections of the store, viewing tables and walls of which you were not able to see when you were standing around those spaces to begin with. The cash register had what looked to be 2-3 girls taking anyone who made eye contact for checkout. I wouldn't say they were the most engaging nor friendly, but I wasn't there to have a good experience, I just wanted to grab my things and go - therefore, checkout was quick, unpersonable, and I suppose, expected due to the type of customer or experience they might usually have? Not sure -- like I said, it's been a minute since I've been to a location and usually in Walnut Creek or Los Angeles. Prices are still okay though which is why we go.

Sure, some shelves had low stock, though that's a common issue during the holidays, which is only exacerbated by this year's Covid-induced supply chain problems. My only expectation was to find some gift-worthy goodies, and that expectation was met. I picked up a jug of moonshine-inspired hot sauce for under $10, a fun gag gift for $5.99, a large jar of mixed peppercorns for $3.99, and another present--won't name it because the recipient might read this!--for under a fiver. The candle selection was mostly picked clean so I didn't choose one, but there were still some left. Plenty of clothing and home goods too. The store was also quite organized. Pictures indicate that sometimes things get out of hand, however both times I've visited this location it has been pretty well kept. Check-out was smooth, with a very friendly employee, and I left in under 30 minutes. Pretty good for holiday shopping on December 22nd.
