The quintessential neighborhood bistro. We ate there for the first time. Service was excellent. The restaurant is pretty with bar, outdoor, and restaurant seating. We had the Brie with peaches, crab tortellini and a hamburger for my husband. All were well prepared and fresh. I'll be back to enjoy some of their other dishes.

I really wanted to love Lazy Lane, and while it didn't quite wow me, it was still a pleasant experience overall. The service was attentive, friendly, and took care of us from start to finish. The ambience is also a big plus; it's a beautiful space with a relaxed, inviting vibe that makes it easy to enjoy your time there. That said, the food itself didn't stand out as much as I had hoped. It wasn't bad by any means, just not particularly memorable. For me, it's the kind of place I'd be fine not revisiting. Overall, a nice spot with strong service and setting, but I was hoping for a bit more from the food.

Saturday brunch Very cute neighborhood spot with a nice bar, side patio, main dining and outdoor lounge out front. Private parking lot. Nice variety and flavors with a few missteps of undercooked potatoes and pasta. Best: Farro & brassica salad, Snapper, Braised beef hash, Burrata bolognese, Blueberry lemon pancakes The S'mores board is a fun interactive dessert. Super sweet but nicely balanced by champagne lol

Stopped by with a group for brunch. The interior design is absolutely stunning! They also have a nice patio too. I got the brunch burger and subbed the sesame bun for a ciabatta bun. I'd give it a 8/10 bc I feel like the burger could've used more seasoning. The fries were very flavorful. The portions are pretty big & the service was good. They also have a small parking lot and free street parking which is convenient.

Amazing place and really quiet, love the staff and the food. This is truly a hidden gym indeed, if it stays like this with not alot of people especially for brunch this will be a treasure! Love this place and will be back again

    Smoked Pasta with chargrilled chicken

Such a great local restaurant in the neighborhood. The flavor profile is off the charts. Both pastas were great to share and excellent noodles. The Smoked Brie was paired great with seasonal fruits that complimented it to perfection.

We hosted a last minute holiday work party and we loved it! The accommodations were perfect and they were very sweet! They were newly opened when I hosted a 15 party Christmas cocktail party but they did a good job! Very cute restaurant, wish I lived closer! The potato pizza was the favorite of the night, so so good!

Came here on a Saturday night with my wife at 6:30pm. Parking lot is huge but horribly laid out so not alot of spots. Got seated and it took us 10+ minutes to get drinks ordered. Drinks came back back so kudos to the bartender. Took us another 30 minutes to get an order in. Not sure what was going on as it's not a huge dining room and I counted at least 5 waiters. Ordered the steak tartar since it's one of my all time favorites. I'll tell you something. I've ester probably 10 different variety's of steak tartar in Houston and this by far is the worst I've ever tasted. Imagine a potato salad (although they're really unique here since they're purple but seriously like a 4th of July potato salad but with but stringy and not good quality raw steak on top. Seriously this chef should be ashamed. I'm usually well balanced when I review restaurants but this is should not be served. Hard stop. For our mains I got the "smoked" pasta. Not sure what was smoked about it as I tasted no smoke. It was just bucatini in a Parmesan sauce with bacon....my wife got the snapper with "crispy" fingerling potatoes. I've attached picture. You be the judge on what constitutes "crispy". Overall this place needs a lot of work. Ambiance and the building are well done and clean but between the horrible service and food this place is not long if it doesn't turn it around.

We heard about this new neighborhood place that was both family friendly but with elevated options. Unfortunately, beyond our hopes most of the critical elements food, service and ambiance were good but not interesting. We likely will give it at least a year to see if it gets better.

We had a very nice dinner at LL on a recent Saturday night for my husband's birthday. Our server was Paris and she was wonderful. The ambience is elegant. Didn't take pics of all our dishes but will say all of these were delicious. The pizza was for our young grandkids.

Birria Pasta - definitely one of a kind dish that you won't be able to find anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Lazy Lane is a wonderful new addition to the neighborhood and definitely worth a visit. The space is beautifully decorated, very clean, and welcoming. The servers were friendly and attentive, which made the experience lovely. The menu is simple and easy to read without feeling limited or overwhelmed. We started with the meatballs as an appetizer and enjoyed two entrées, all of which were well prepared, full of flavor and satisfying. We're already looking forward to coming back to try the potatoes pizza, s'mores and strawberry Pop-Tart dessert. Highly recommend checking Lazy Lane good for casual dinner, date night or group dinners.

    Overcooked burger

This is a beautiful aesthetic restaurant BUT the food was so disappointing. Truly had higher expectations for this establishment. The food took over an hour to come out. The steak frites were cold. The burgers were overcooked. The pancakes were burned. Truly wished it was a better outcome. Service was also not good. Had higher hopes for this neighborhood restaurant.

Only Italian place in Houston that reminds me of my time in Italy, I've pretty much been all over Italy but this place gives me a more Florence aka Firenze vibe! Family owned! Interestingly enough the owner is from Florence! Customer service from Rebekah was simply outstanding and reminded me of my time in Florence where I felt as if I was family. They have fresh authentic Italian Ingredients! They have frozen Italian delicacy's you can buy like pastas, Mac n cheese, sauces, Italian sausages and more. They also make their own Italian pasta in house! They have a small coffee section, bread section and authentic Italian imported drink section. I opted in for their fresh sandwiches on focaccia bread I got the prosciutto sandwich and my wife got the caprese. My sandwich consisted of fresh arugula, (I forgot the cheese), prosciutto, balsamic vinaigrette on focaccia bread. The sandwich simply took me back to my time in Florence! Fresh and authentic ingredients! I also got a Limonata drink I forgot to take a picture of! I will be a regular customer! Tap in !

They are available on the weekends at the farmers market for your convenience or you can stop by their store. The pasta and sauces are frozen. They also have bread available, pizza dough, and sausages from local farmers. What makes them unique is that they have chicken meatballs!!! Of course Beef meatballs are available-Both are marinating in light marinara sauce. Coffee is available and they have daily fresh made sandwiches for lunch. The service was amazing and they offered me a sample of a Biscotti that was to die for...I made the mistake of eating it without coffee because it was so good. Parking: Tons of parking here surprisingly, both a paved lot and a pebble lot. We had a reservation for 3 at 7PM and were promptly seated at a booth after a small line of people. Order-to-Appetizer: 15 Minutes Order-to-Entrees: 30 MInutes For three people, we ordered: Dairymaid's Cheese Board (4/5): Comes with four cheeses, five small pieces of sourdough, honey-spritzed grapes, green Granny Smith apples, and fava beans. I wish they gave us more bread with the cheeses and preserves. The four cheeses provided were slices of a five-year aged Cheddar, Oveja Anejo, Tomarashi, and Gruyere. I enjoyed the Tomarashi the most. It is a bit pricey for what you get, but very sharable and a great starter. Shady Acres Pizza with prosciutto (3.5/5): I really don't like getting thin crust pizza that isn't crispy, and unfortunately this was a soggy thin crust pizza. The toppings themselves were very flavorful, and the end parts were crispy enough. 5 Cheese Calzone with chicken (3.5/5): Whew, five cheeses makes for a salty calzone. The side marinara sauce provides a good balance. It's very filling. Chicken might have been a good addition because prosciutto might have made it too salty. It was larger than expected which was nice for sharability. Service was kind of iffy. They were pretty rude with not providing us utensils and seeming almost angry that we asked for some for the cheese board. They mixed up our order (we asked for chicken on the pizza and prosciutto on the calzone and they flipped it) and seemed almost apologetically serving us afterwards. Overall, would recommend as a relaxed date spot at a reasonable price. I paid via inKind and applied referral credit with no issues. Would come back with inKind credit, probably not at full price.

The interior is pretty casual with a full bar in the middle. Our server was friendly and made couple solid recommendations on appetizers. Two dishes stood out for me: Watermelon and tomato salad - this is my favorite thing from the dinner, the sweetness from the watermelon worked surprisingly well with the balsamic glaze and pesto, very refreshing. TexQueno - nice cheese stick made with Venezuelan cheese, paired well with the cilantro sauce. We also tried the shrimp ceviche, which was solid, but nothing too special. For the main, we went with pastas, which were let downs. For the Cioppino Linguini, the seafood was overcooked, the pasta texture wasn't great, and the dish tasted pretty bland and lack the garlicky tomato flavor you'd expect from a traditional Cioppino Linguini. The wild mushroom pasta had a bit heavy sauce, also not the best pastas, but the mushrooms were cooked well.
