And did I mention their handmade desserts? Lots of choices. I decided on a Pistachio Latte and a slice of Pistachio cheesecake to compliment it. It was stupendous. The latte was perfectly delicious- creamy nutty not too sweet and just the perfect temperature. The cheese cake was decadent, sweet, creamy and just a perfect blend. So good! The Baristas were fun to watch create drinks, very precise, professional and caring about doing their best job. After we ordered we took a table and to our surprise, they delivered the drinks and desserts to our table. Very nice service and a charming and positive staff. I definitely recommend them and can't wait to go back for more!

Haraz The good:…read more Wonderful decor and ambiance, really spacious. Plenty of seating. Lots of sunlight. Tall ceilings. No annoying music, great for conversation. Open later than most coffee shops, especially in this deserted part of town. Varied drink menu, both caffeinated and not caffeinated, including refreshers. Nice creative variety of desserts (including a Biscoff cake!) and a kolaches case. At one point the brought some hot baked dessert (looked like a whole coffee cake) out the oven and it smelled like heaven. The bad: Nothing vegan or healthy, not even pre-made cold sandwiches or packaged salads. If you are a little peckish for a healthy snack, this is not the place. The coffees: They have all the regular espresso drinks, and also Turkish coffee and of course Yemeni, their specialty. I had heard great things about Yemeni coffee and was exciting to try it. My first drink, a traditional coffee drink called Jubani ($6) contained coffee but was watery like a tea. It had also ginger and cinnamon. I was not expecting it to be like a tea. I immediately told the cashier I didn't like the drink and would like just an Americano, double shot espresso. I was charged $9 for a 12 oz cup. No cream or sugar, no added flavorings. If I were in charge I wouldn't have charged for this second drink, since it comes at almost zero cost to them and would show good faith and ensure repeat business. Disappointingly, the Americano was also watery and sort of "lemony", but I still drank half while sitting with my friend. I'll say that my friend had some sort of an iced latte that she enjoyed. I might try a second visit and order a Turkish coffee, but I will make sure to have had a full meal before.

It's got a kind of yeasty taste/consistency that the toppings melt into. And so many toppings. I've yet to warm the product up, only room temp and it's damn tasty. I tried the peach cobbler and the traditional and I'd say 5 stars. Can't wait for my next sweets day to get a couple, warm it up, add some butter to it in the oven and have a latte to go with it. Kudos to Cranky Granny's! Service was attentive. Ambiance was good with a lot of marketing of the product throughout the store.

I typically get a flour tortilla but after the complimentary tortillas, I felt like I should have gotten their corn since it felt like they made their own. I also got their flan which was delicious! I thought this was a lovely lunch and it was a bit sad to see it mostly empty. I think the food is delicious and the waitress was nice enough to explain some of the dishes we had questions on.
