I didn't fully realize how much I had missed them! Spending an hour with Linda every few weeks is restoring my face. We spend that hour talking like girlfriends, and that is therapeutic, too. We made an appointment by text (as she suggests on her website). I arrived 5 minutes before the appointment though I was not even sure it was the correct place as it is in a Pilates Studio with no markings for LB. I saw a flyer with her logo and heard voices in the back of the studio, but when I looked in the back, there was only a door slightly ajar. I had my first facial with Linda this weekend, and it was excellent!!! This was the best facial experience I have had, and I am happy to have finally found Linda and my go-to business. Linda is very talented and knowledgeable. She is also fun to talk with. She is very gentle with extractions and strikes up good conversation during the extractions to distract from any discomfort (which was minimal relative to other facials I have had). Linda was also incredibly thorough but not invasive - my face was a little red overnight and I have had no post-facial break outs. After my facial Linda also gave me a nice shoulder massage and applied some extra treatments. She also worked a little on my eyebrows. It is a bit confusing the first time you go because she is in a room inside the Pilates studio and no one is there to greet you but once you get through that small hurdle she's the best. Before her I used to go to Zoey Van Jones and they are great but they are expensive but with Linda you get more of that 1 on 1 personal attention and for less $$$. I can't say enough about Linda, she is nice, respectful and makes you feel like you are her friend and she always does a great job on my eyebrows and gives me advice about my skin without trying to sell me anything. Linda has done an amazing job at waxing my eyebrows. I especially love that she uses hard wax since my skin has become to sensitive for hard wax. We moved to Riverside back in March, I tried a couple of places and they both ruined my brows. The last one left me nearly bald. We'll after nearly 6 weeks of letting them grow out, I made the drive out to Pasadena to have Linda wax them. She did not disappoint, she is a true artist at shaping my brows.
