I usually go to Sugared & Bronzed to get my sugaring done, but because they're all located so far away, I decided to try this place based on reviews. It is pricier, but wow! She took so much time and care to make sure everything looked good, but the biggest thing was that my sugaring wasn't AS painful as when I've had it at sugared & bronzed. Angie is amazing! HIGHLY recommend!! This was the first place I experienced sugaring at and I was REALLY pleased with the experience. This was probably a few years ago (before covid) and I wanted to sugar my neck area, which I don't think is as common, so I messaged Angie with a picture of the area, asking if it would be okay, and she went ahead and arranged a custom appt for me. When I arrived, she explained sugaring to me and had me lay down to get sugared. Since it was my first time, and the hair is thicker there, it did hurt but I knew that was to be expected. It was worth it though. She made sure to get all the hairs, even tweezing out some that were left and made sure it didn't awkwardly cut off with my upper back hair (really considerate). She also made sure to show me the results with a mirror so that I could see for myself. It was very clean. Before I left, she told me about aftercare, as well! The second time that I went, it barely hurt at all, which was a HUGE difference from the first time. I had to go to a different sugaring place recently, since clients aren't being accepted at this time (understandable), and despite the other place's high rating on Yelp, my experience was much different and extremely disappointing. They sugared me in an uncomfortable position, did it too quickly (not caring for detail), and didn't even show me how it looked like at the end so I didn't see for myself until I got home, and there was still hair. It was really frustrating, but I'm glad that my experience with Angie has made me aware of what GOOD sugaring service is. I hope to go back as a regular once she starts accepting clients again! read more

As good as it gets!! I've tried several waxing places, and Angie is the best, hands down. If you are a first-time waxer, give Angie a try. She is an EXPERT in her field and uses high quality products. Plus, her prices are very reasonable! I started seeing her back when she was working at a salon, and now she has this adorable space on Green. There are 90 minute free parking structures nearby, if you can't find street parking. I tried the sugaring recently, and boy is it awesome. The results last longer than waxing, and I had less issues with ingrown hairs. It costs a bit more, but it's totally worth it. Waxing/sugaring can be awkward, but Angie is great to talk to, and works quickly and with attention to detail. Bottom line, she cares, and does a great job every time. read more

I had waxing done with Angie (eyebrows, upper lip, chin, and Brazilian) for about a year. She is awesome, sweet, easy to talk to, and gentle! I'm fairly new to waxing (about 3-4 years) and I've been to several different places. Each place that I've left was because I wasn't fully satisfied with the service. Her energy is so calming which is essential since trust is paramount when you're baring yourself in the most vulnerable ways to a person in this situation... to avoid THOSE situations!
