Because having a Friday off from work. I automatically thought it was a Saturday, when I asked Kat do you have anything for tomorrow assuming it was for Sunday. My bad. I text her the night of and let her know of my mixup and apologized. She did have a later appointment but I wasn't sure if I would make it. There was a lot of back and forth but Kat was beyond accommodating and sincere. She assured me that she would still honor my Groupon past the expiration date but she would have to mark it as "re-deemed" fair enough. She even wrote on an index card I had a scrub credit and provided me with a picture of it. Fast forward to today. I had text her on 11/18 to see if she would be open the day after Thanksgiving. She said yes, so I asked what time she had available and that I would be free all day. She gave me a 11:30am time slot. Done. So I thought...Nope, I get a call today Wednesday 11/23 @ 11:40am asking me where I'm at. Huh? My appointment is on Friday with you, she says "no it's not". Um I for sure didn't schedule a scrub while working. Looking at the txt I asked for 11/26 but not paying attention to Kat's text where she wrote "see you on 11/23 @ 11:30" and me just texting back "Thank You". Anyways, what sealed the deal was when she said, "well just come on Friday, what time do you want to come, ok come at 11:30am then, so we can be done with this". With a bunch of other rude "mumbling under her breath". Sorry, I'll eat up the Groupon you already redeemed and save both of us the headache. Obviously there was communication issues on both our ends, but no one has to be rude about it.

I was told to stop shaving 3 days prior, & to confirm my appointment via text 24 hours before. I did as told. I arrived 30 minutes early to my first appointment, not knowing what to expect but assuming I had new customer paperwork to fill out. I was not told how long my appointment would be for, & I frankly didn't care to ask, was just excited to be getting free electrolysis through insurance, I made myself available. I walked in & Anh was in the back working on someone. I seen several cats laying around, & a guy sitting near the front. Anh told the guy "not yet" & the guy shooed me outside until 4pm on the dot, my scheduled appointment time. If it wasn't free for me with insurance, I would have went home. This place looks sketchy, nothing I would actually physically hand over money for. Paperwork was fast, & I was on the table in 10 minutes. I remember asking how long my appointment was for & she said 1 hour, to see how I react to it? Idk, didn't make sense to me but I didn't question it. I was worked on for about 45 minutes, & was scheduled for next Tuesday (today). I did everything as planned, stopped shaving 3 days prior, confirmed my appointment via text 24 hours in advance & arrived to my 2pm & waited outside to be told to come in. Now, here is where I think things started to go south. I rode my Segway scooter from Venice, where I live, to this appointment. I didn't ask at my first appointment, but this time I asked if I could let my scooter charge during my appointment. First she said no, then said this one time.. because she understood that was my transportation there & home. The way she acted made me feel extremely unwelcome, so I declined the offer & said I didn't want to be an inconvenience. I left it outside, just like the first appointment. I am completely understanding my scooters charge level is not her responsibility, but I guess I just expected a little bit of empathy as a customer? She's getting a nice check from me being here, letting me charge my scooter for my hour appointment sounded like it was a being inconvenience for her that I even asked, & she definitely made sure I wouldn't ask again lol. I took an up close selfie before photo with my phone while I laid waiting for her to start. She did not say a word. She started & worked, & at 2:47 I glanced at my phone screen to check the time while she cleaned off the tweezers? I'm not sure why she turns around periodically, I think that's it. She finished me up early at 2:50pm & said "next time, no phone while in session". I was confused by this, as I only glanced at my phone once for the time while she wasn't working on my face. I took a couple seconds to try to understand & said "I wasn't on my phone while you were working? I'm confused. I was genuinely confused, & I was shooed up off the table & told there was a mirror behind. My appointment was done for the day. I looked at myself & took an up close after photo & was told not to come back. I am PERPLEXED at this point. She says no photos allowed, & that she told me that & I didn't listen. She never once mentioned anything about photos, photography, anything. I start looking around for a sign I might've missed that said no photography, but nothing was there. I said "I can't take a photo of my face with my phone?" She said no! If you want that you do that outside. I am so bewildered at this point, I literally have no idea what's going on. I'm no longer a customer & I'm told I can't take photos of my own face? I start asking why, she doesn't have a reason, just repeating she's allowed to say that. On my way home (I had to take the train) I was thinking would could have possibly caused that reaction out of her? Is it insurance fraud? The timestamps on the photos showing I was only there for 1 hour again? She doesn't like before & after photos because it shows very little improvement? or is it because she has several cats in there & she's not supposed to? I genuinely do not know. Very strange lady. I'm disappointed, but I'll have another provider approved with insurance & life will carry on. I will mention, it is very frustrating the 72 hours no shaving, then appointment, & then no shaving for 72 hour after. That is 6 whole days, & then if you have weekly appointments, you have 1 day a week to be hair & scab free. It's just not feasible for most people. Back to the drawing board! EDITED. Careful with your comments Anna. Everything I said is 100% true & factual, & your cameras confirm it. Nobody demanded an outlet. I'd tread lightly with false statements, or we can see what a jury thinks about it love. & I have a scooter, not a bike. Scooters are much smaller, & fold. It's a Segway ninebot max to be exact.
