I can't believe I haven't left a review for this place. I have been coming to this place to send Balikbayan boxes, remittances or mail important documents. Sending air cargo through them is affordable. Much cheaper than FedEx or USPS. Most of the time I get a different employee to help me. Some are jolly and others are just too serious. Oh well as long as I get done what I came for, I'm good. The store is small. Inside is full of empty boxes for shipping but have enough space to accommodate clients. The employees area is separated by a glass wall. Limited parking which is challenging especially when you're sending boxes. No public facilities. read more

We send out a lot of boxes already with LBC. I try to request a pick-up as soon as I fill a box, and Alvin has been handling our box pick-ups for a while now. I can't say enough good things about him--he's always on time, incredibly efficient, and thorough in his work. Additionally, he is polite and honest- very professional. I hope someone from management notices his exceptional service, as Alvin truly deserves recognition. I wouldn't be surprised if he receives many positive reviews from other customers! If only I could give him 10 stars! Today, I had a doctor's appointment, and he made sure to arrive punctually and process quickly. Everyone here is very friendly and has always been helpful. Whenever I try to send something by air, and my box is underweight, they always suggest adding more items since the price is fixed to make my money's worth. And I appreciate that a lot. That means; they care about their customers. One thing I don't like is their parking. So I always go early or when it's not rush hours. Otherwise, sending something to the Philippines is quick and without any hassle, this is a very convenient way and the only way for me. Trusted when sending gadgets too. My son asked me to send some toys in the Philippine by air and somehow it's so lightweight, so she told me if I want to add more items so I can avail their Promo instead of paying regular fee. I havent had a bad experience with LBC yet. This is my second time sending a balikbayan box for our future travel to Manila. You know how filipinos roll....you give everyone something. Last month, I came to this location to send an extra large balikbayan box. My boyfriend was not with me, so no one could help me unload the box from my car. I went inside at 545pm (they closed at 6 pm) and spoke to the lady at the counter. I asked about pricing and told her that I was going to send the box that day. She wasn't too happy since she probably wanted to go home already. I also told her that my box isn't closed yet and would need help to unload it from my car. She called a man by the name of "Ariel". Kuya Ariel is the nicest and the best. He helped me even pack my box since it wasn't ready yet. He did most of the work as I took care of paying for the box and making sure it was going to be sent to the right address. Kudos to Kuya Ariel!!! I highly recommend LBC in Panorama City read more

As a Filipino with family members in the motherland we send stuff and money back home frequently. For decades this has been our go to. We send balikbayan boxes to relatives around the holidays. LBC is great about picking up and even giving a free box to replace the one they're picking up. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and timely. Since Covid hit we haven't had the time to go shopping for things to send back home. They are still open for business. There's a limit of 2 or 3 customers inside to observe the Covid guidelines. We sent some cash and a small package of vitamins to the Philippines recently. It arrived in less than a week. Pro's: they pick up boxes from your home and replace with a brand new one. Friendly staff. Fast delivery. Reasonable prices Con's: the parking lot sucks! It's located in an outdoor complex with 8 other establishments. The parking lot only consists of no more than 15-20 spaces. The worse part is, if you're lucky enough to snag a spot, there's inconsiderate people that will double park and lock you in. Sometimes they have a parking attendant but it's rare. Don't be sneaky and park by Jollybee or Seafood City next door because they have a couple parking attendants there that keep a close eye on people walking to the complex. An Amazing woman helped me send 2 packages to the Philippines yesterday. One was a ukulele in an odd shaped box and the other was a small box which they put into one of their bags. The woman took the uku out of its box and carefully wrapped it in bubble wrap and then after returning it to its box she taped the box shut. The prices for both were MUCH cheaper than the post office and the delivery time was estimated to be 7-10 days. I went there because my post office recommend them after I'd mailed two boxes to the same address 2 months ago and they never arrived. The post office charged me $25 for regular service and $37 for expedited service for the same size box that LBC charged $12. PARKING - they have a very small lot and if one or more of their trucks are loading up at the time, you can drive one block and park in the residential area and walk back if your package(s) is not too heavy, which is what I did. Inefficient operation at Panorama branch. There are no local phone # and call is directed to answering center service. I went last week at noon to buy a balikbayan box. There were 3 customers ahead of me in line and at the counters. There are 2 employees at the counter. Then 3 more customers came behind me. I was waiting for about 10 minutes. Then one of the employees carried a sign to the effect of "closed will be back in 30 minutes". He then stated in an upset tone that they have not have lunch and will be going to lunch and we will just have to come back. I was wondering why can't they put a sign earlier that they will be closing for lunch then lock the door so that we don't have to stay in line and also loss our order in line? When I came back, they told me that they are out of stock of large and extra large balikbayan boxes. read more

Every time I go here I'm disappointed. I've been going for 3 1/2 years because it's basically the only place I can go to ship things to the Philippines. At first it was OK I guess but then they started randomly selectively enforcing their policies about checking packages and what can be shipped and what cannot be shipped. I have yet to see them search the package of a Filipino but because I'm Caucasian they think I'm a criminal? it's only a matter of time before LBC gets a nice big fat class action lawsuit for this kind of double standard and treatment. They lost my business and if there's ever a lawsuit, I will be right there suing them along with everyone else I'm tired of the way they treat Caucasians. read more

The LBC Driver is rude. He blocked my number after he texted me that he wanted to pick up my box at an earlier time and I was not able to reply to him right away. I texted and called him up several times but he blocked me. He did not arrive at the scheduled time for pick up. Fire this man because he is not fitted for the job! He is lazy and very manipulative!!! Blocking the cellphone number of a customer is not right! He is very unprofessional and unreliable. For sure he did this several times to some customers. Why wont he follow the assigned schedule for pick up and why did he make his own schedule? The worst thing, he blocked a customer's number for not replying to him immediately! If you cannot handle stress in that job then find another job because you ruined the reputation of the company! Make sure to find this driver and fire him! read more

I have never used this combination before. Of course LBC says they don't sell your personal information. Well that is a total lie! Because after 6 months of being a faithful customer and spending at least $3000 on shipping boxes using LBC services. Last week I started receiving spam mostly porn and other kinds of junk mail. And those porn junk are addressed using my first name and middle initial and last name. If I would of known this were to happen. I would of never used my real name or real email address. I would of made a temporary email and a fake name! Their service is prompt and the delivery guys are nice people. But this B.S. of selling my customer name and email is total B.S. and I cannot give them a good score. I asked before my first shipment if this company gave out my detailed information like my name and email. And the front desk clerk told me that the company doesn't do that ever!
