    gloves and tart tray
    Jules B.

I enjoy baking. I especially love and enjoy baking with my Mom. Over the holidays I baked pecan tarts and my mom's pecan tart baking trays made kinda shallow tarts. So I decided to check out Chefs' Toys to buy a baking tray that would make deeper tarts and my Mom requested rubber cooking gloves. Chefs' Toys sells all kinds of restaurant and kitchen equipment (see my pics). Of course they had mini muffin nonstick 24 tray for $24.99 each and a box of small clear powder free vinyl gloves (100 per box) costed me $8.99. Parking is a little bit of a pain, as it's street parking only. Service from Javier was direct, asked if I found everything that I was looking for and rang up my purchase.

Martin is the man!!! Got two Pitco propane fryers and the casters. Came out to way more than I thought with the hoses and wheels but the customer service was great. Super happy with the product. Hope it lasts

Do not come here to sharpen your knife. I've had these expensive knives for 10 years now and have had them beautiful and well maintained. Thought I'd give this knife sharpening a try here. I wish I hadn't and I'm a little sad at the inconsistency and scratches all over my lovely knives.

She came up to me and stated didn't you have something else in your hand that you were going to take and was eyeing my purse. i completely forgot i left it by the glasses and stated where it was at and that i'm purchasing it as well. i had a question about a product and went up to another worker and she was helping me and being so genuine and nice and the most unbelievable thing happened is that the worker that was hovering over me decide to cut into my conversation with this lovely lady that was helping me and was just looking at us. AND also hovered it was unbelievable. Did she think i was going to steal just because its Rodeo Drive and i was dressed in comfortable clothes that did not meet her expectations ? The lovely lady that helped me was robin and the disrespectful worker that should be more helpful and less judgmental is Denise she's from upstairs.

Walked in and were greeted by 2 of their employees. They were nice and helpful. Wanted to know what was it that I needed? I told them few things.. My main visit to Williams-Sonoma was mostly to get a knife set since the ones that I have are dull and not sharp enough. I also needed to get few spices/baking spray, and baking pans. I am a good baker, when I feel like baking cookies, cake, scones, muffins, croissants, etc.. Also needed tools for the kitchen. Whisk, spatulas, measuring cups/spoons etc..just to name a few. They also have great deals on certain items. Well, since I haven't been there in a long time, I saw exactly what I was looking for and purchased them at a very affordable, reasonable price. For everything that I got, I spent $75.00 including tax. Occasionally they have chefs that are good role models and demonstrate healthy cooking for the community. Store was fully stocked according to their items, and was SUPER CLEAN!! Glad I found the items that I was looking for..Parking structure available for parking with validation. Thank you all very much for serving the community all these years!

CUSTOMER WARNING: THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING FROM THIS WILLIAMS SONOMA LOCATION…read more It's all about the bonuses, right? The General Manager and staff at this location apparently thought improving their store sales was more important than being transparent with the customer. Here's what happened. I placed an online order for a coffee machine with pickup at this store. The same day, a salesperson from the store called me and explained that the store had been struggling with sales and asked me to let them cancel my online order so I could purchase the machine directly from the store instead. They told me not to worry about anything, that they would cancel the order themselves, keep the machine for me, and all I had to do was show up and pay in the store. I agreed because I genuinely wanted to help. I could have simply kept my online order and picked it up at the store, but I chose to support the local store instead. Three days later, after actually using the machine, I realized it wasn't right for me and wanted to return it or exchange it for another model. That's when the "used item" rule suddenly became the reason they refused. But how exactly is a customer supposed to determine whether a coffee machine is right for them without using it? You cannot evaluate espresso quality, milk drinks, temperature, consistency, workflow, or the overall experience by staring at a sealed box. When I pushed back, the manager told me that because I had used the machine, I should contact the manufacturer. So I did. The manufacturer confirmed that the machine was sold exclusively by Williams Sonoma, that they were not the seller, that they could not issue me a refund, and that the return needed to be handled by Williams Sonoma. So I was sent in a circle. And this is what makes the whole situation so disturbing: the store actively asked me to abandon the online transaction and convert it into an in-store sale to help their sales numbers, without telling me that doing so could materially change my return options. Had I simply kept my original online order, I would have had the online return process available to me. Customers are not stupid. But this General Manager seems to think we are. If a store is going to ask customers to change how they purchase something for the store's financial benefit, the customer deserves to know exactly what they may be giving up in the process. My advice: if a Williams Sonoma store ever asks you to cancel an online order and repurchase the same item in-store, STOP and ask about the return policy first. Get it in writing. I have escalated this to Williams Sonoma corporate and am filing a BBB complaint. If you have experienced similar tactics at this location, document everything and report it. Sales targets and bonuses should never come before honest and transparent treatment of customers.

I highly recommend the experience from product information to purchase to installation. Product Info and Discovery: I was surprised to learn that not all Sub-Zero retailers are the same. Given that we already had a Sub-Zero and were replacing it after more than 30 years of usage, we started our process at the Sub-Zero showroom in Costa Mesa. This location was purely informational, as they don't sell at that location, but we were able to see and compare every unit. We visited a Ferguson Home but was disappointed at not being able to see the unit we were looking to purchase and because the salesperson was not fully aware of all the features of the model. We ultimately purchased from UAKC because the units were were interested were not just side by side, but powered on to the same level of coldness that you would have in your home. That was huge for us as it helped us understand how cold our drinks would be and how cold our foods would be chilled in each compartment. Purchase: I worked with MD Rayhan on the purchase process. MD was helpful in providing "crowd sourced" feedback from his other customers to help me choose between the Pro and Classic models. Specifically, I wanted to understand if the Pro freezer was going to be too small (it runs about 50% smaller than my prior Classic freezer) or if it was simply moving along with the consumer trend toward more fresh foods. Given that Sub-Zero pricing is fixed regardless of retailer, MD helped me find manufacture rebates that I qualified for and was market competitive on installation costs. Lastly, MD helped find inventory and schedule my delivery so that I could get the new unit installed as soon as possible. Installation: UAKC sent a four person team of certified installers led by Juan and Alex. The certified expertise was helpful because it got us a longer 3 year warranty, but the expertise around the equipment was also invaluable. From unboxing the unit on our driveway to carrying the 650 pound unit up a few stairs, removing a door and leaning the unit through our doorway, everything was done professionally, cleanly and with no scratches to home or refrigerator. They even polished the unit and removed all the plastic film covering the stainless steel panels so that the refrigerator was ready to be used. The entire process took about two hours. Couldn't ask for more.

I already wanted to purchase from them, but after this experience, I'm even more confident in that decision. Their service made a stressful situation so much easier, and it's the kind of experience that builds long-term loyalty. I absolutely plan to make future purchases with them. Thank you, Marlene and Darryn, for going above and beyond!
