Guy at the counter wiped his nose with his bare hand and shirt while handling someone else's food and handed a customer a handful of plastic utensils to refill the tray outside.....bare hands of some customer that just walked up From the boardwalk with kids. I didnt see him wash his hands. He didn't work there. My food was taking 20 minutes for 2burgers and a chicken taco. FiJi water bottles (worst water on the market) or tap water for free. 6 Oz cups for soda at $5.00 a cup. $23 for a regular burger. $19 for the chicken tacos. $69 for crap food. If my daughter wasn't autistic and wouldn't have had a tantrum at walking away (once we set a plan in motion, it has to be completed or she has a meltdown. She is non verbal) I would have left. Horrible customer service and I watched my food from grill to plate to me. They saw me watching and made sure they handled it right. I watched another person's hot dog order get handled raw with bare hands and adjusted in the bun after being cooked with bare hands. Blecchh! Was in the area for a Yelp Event and was starving so LBK was the first stand I came across. I was hungry crunch for time so tacos it was. Nothing to rave home about but they did hit the spot and held me over for the event. Service was a little on the slow side but nothing to complain about. I understand that any restaurants on the beach charge more for the location. However, the simple choices on their menu shouldn't take them much effort to prepare. Especially since you get no service from the staff. I ordered a Chicken Cesar salad, that had a few strips of grilled chicken breast and filled with wilted, old lettuce. The croutons were so hard and stale, you could have chipped a tooth biting into them. The salad and an iced tea cost over $25! Better to walk 10 minutes along the boardwalk where there are so many other options to eat. This place is the equivalent of a bad, greasy fast- food place with low quality ingredients. read more

The food is great here but wait times are soooo long! was told 45 minutes for food on a busy night but took over an hr and a half. the burgers, chicken nuggets are good. They forgot a few items in our order but corrected after we mentioned. I wish they would expand so they can accomodate the amount of customers that saw the line and left. The manager was so nice, he saw our kids were starving and gave them fries to hold them over. The staff really tries, its just that their staff cant handle the demand. Insanely overpriced for snacks off the beach. My kids got dogs which were cold and $5.00 each. I had pastrami tacos which were good but not worth the $. The garden salad was also quite expensive , which was 99% lettuce and wilted. First and last time there. read more

So didn't really know what to expect from this joint but boy was I surprised! They didn't have any indoor dining which was interesting, but I guess when you're on the boardwalk that is the move. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, pulled beef sandwich, a Reuben sandwich, and a corn dog. To be honest I think the Pastrami in the Reuben was out of this world it had an amazing amount of black pepper to give it a nice kick. the corn dog was what I imagine a corn dog to taste like. I didn't know what kind of sauce to add to it as on its own it was left wanting more, thinking back I would have liked something like a maple bacon aioli for it. I could see that working well with it, but they don't have that there. already recommended it to several friends and look forward to returning soon! read more

This place will have fresh cut fries one day, and shoprite frozen fries on the next. No consistency AT ALL. Ordered a chicken Cesar Salad and it was great! Ordered it again the next day and there was literally 1/4 the amount of chicken. I went to manager who said there is nothing he could. LOL how about some more chicken so it looks like the one you gave me yesterday? In summary, as much as I enjoy the food (when it's good..) I can't take the chance to splurge for a $60 lunch with my wife, when I don't know what kind of mood the chef is in that day. Too lazy to slice potatoes, to lazy to add chicken, EXPENSIVE, and TERRIBLE Customer service to boot. Stay away, plenty of better, cheaper alternatives in the area. read more

Well this place defines greasy spoon but not in a good way. There's no quality in their ingredients. The chicken tacos are overcooked tidbits of dark meat swimming in some bland sauce. The pressed Reuben sandwich is chopped greasy beef grissle and onions, but the onions barely make an appearance in the onion rings. Avoid! read more

$20 for a "fried chicken sandwich"?? I ordered and figured ok, pricey but paying for location too etc. how bad can a fried chicken sandwich be?? The bun was HUGE and STALE-so the sandwich looks big but all bread. The "fried chicken" was 3 chicken NUGGETS under the bun. Tomato was barely red in colour and was awful. I wish I could give zero stars, by far the worse place I've tried on the board walk. I was willing to spend the $23 dollars on hamburger, with no fries included, because I thought it would be exceptional, it was, exceptionally bad!! The bun was cold and stale, I could not identify the meat as beef. I swear the tiny 3 brisket spring rolls, I think was $15 tasted like it was filled with dog food. The Kosher burgers here are excellent! We have them every time I come to the beach. Buy a burger, get their slush drink and enjoy the beach!

We went there with expectations of a good pastrami sandwich. Unfortunately it was just the opposite. We ordered the pastrami reubens which were SUPPOSED to have onions and kraut. One sandwich had a few strands of kraut, the other had none! Worst of all, the pastrami was not sliced but cut into little CUBES! We also ordered chicken tacos which was very skimpy with an extremely spicy sauce that rendered it inedible. There was no sense trying to complain or explain because we had already seen in our experience and observing that of others that mgmt. & employees were very curt with a "take it or leave it" attitude. We will of course not go there again and recommend that others not bother. They'd be setting themselves up for disappointment, big time. It is in a nice location on the boardwalk. The menu offers a wide variety of unique options. I ordered the BBQ brisket sandwhich, which I thought was a little too smoky and rich for my taste. My company's orders, however, were delicious. Together, we order the corn dog, fries, Marinated Grilled Chicken Sammich, the Chimmichurri Chicken Sammich, the Pressed Rueben Sammich (not pictured), and the Pulled BBQ Beef Brisket. I would definitely recommend stopping by at this restaurant on a beach day, or even just to walk on the beautiful boardwalk. Overall, it was a great experience. Excellent needed kosher fast food restaurant. The prices are obviously over prices firstly because it's New Jersey and secondly it's on the beach prime location. Food is always fresh and worked extremely fast to get your order out. It is fully 100% only outdoor seating they have no indoor seating even pre/post covid. As well you have a brand new arcade place opening up 10 feet away and an ice cream place there as well. read more

We arrived at LBK grill to find an area that was overcrowded without any social distancing of the tables or patrons. When I got on line to order I noticed the staff behind the counter (who were handling food) were either not wearing a mask or had the mask on their neck. This location is under new ownership and has taken a nose dive. The menu is severely overpriced, they charge $15 for just a burger, without sides, and no cheese. We stopped by because there were long lines at every other location except here, and now I know why. The food was mediocre at best and not worth the high prices. They didn't have most drinks on their menu, which offered frozen drinks and lemonade. The only thing they had available was coke and water. The man who took my order kept interrupting me. I almost felt like I was bothering them when I asked for to-go containers because they just kept moving me from window to window and just motioned to where it was (behind the window) so I can grab it myself. The metal tables in front of the location were hot and for some reason, the owner wouldn't let anyone open the umbrellas, he had them all zip tied closed. We got a burger, an order of tacos, chips and guac and a very basic, very bland order of nachos. $84 later, I wish I had just braved the long lines elsewhere because this food, hot tables, and terrible service wasn't even worth $5. read more
