Listen, those fries are good but the wings listen I almost went back there and hugged the cook

Had a delightful late lunch before a party on the boardwalk. My date and I shared a Caesar salad, wings, and an order of jalapeño poppers. The salad was huge, perfect for sharing, not too much dressing and just enough chicken and croutons. The wings were impressive: smoked, fried, crispy and savory. The buffalo sauce was excellent, and I also enjoyed the honey BBQ. The jalapeño poppers turned out to be the stars of the show. You must get them! Stuffed with tender pulled pork and wrapped in bacon then fried up nice and crispy, these bad boys are a million times better than the frozen TGI Fridays crap found at many places. Heart and soul went into these heavenly delights. Try dipping the tip in your favorite sauces for maximum enjoyment. A few $6 Gansett tallboys were perfect to wash down this hearty meal. Only at the end did I realize that I hadn't tried any of their signature BBQ dishes! That will have to wait until next time. I can't wait to come back.

I got the pork belly burnt ends, and it was like "meat dessert," savory with a sweet glaze.

The presentation of the food was excellent as well with a smoke show. The food was incredible too. I followed the reviews and got the smoked chicken which was a great choice. We also got the ribs and brisket. I definitely liked the brisket more than the ribs in case you are looking to make a choice. I got their special fries and I absolutely loved them. They were so lemony and garlicky. They have sauces that they serve with the food and some that are on the table as well. I think the sauces are definitely necessary. The meat is delicious but mildly seasoned. I live a bit far and I loved the food so much that I got brisket and smoked chicken to go as well. The brisket makes such an amazing sandwich with some sriracha aioli and cheese. The service was excellent throughout. We were seated immediately and everything was taken care of efficiently.

We arrived on a Saturday the place was absolutely packed but we were seated within about 5 minutes. We were seated right near the smokers and it was so cool to watch them prepare each dish. The presentation here is phenomenal as is the quality of all the meat here. A fresh salad with oil was brought complimentary to the table and it was delicious. We ordered the Buffalo smoked chicken wings and Baba-Ghanoj for appetizers. The chicken wings were so tender that as you picked them up the meat literally fell off the bone! The sauce was subtle but had a nice Buffalo kick at the end. The baba-ghanoj was served cold and was perfect with a little sprinkle of salt. The fresh pitas paired perfectly with it. I'm glad I did my research on this spot as everyone recommended the fresh mint lemonade. Wow amazing and refreshing I love that it came out as a slushy like consistency. I could easily drink them all day and they're probably amazing to eat outside in the warmer months and enjoy. We each ordered the meat platters in 1lb portions which are served with fresh smoked rice that is so good and filling. I wanted the beef shank but sadly they were out and ordered the smoked beef short rib. They served everything on a platter for us which the presentation I must say is outstanding . My boyfriend ordered the smoked brisket and it was so tender and flavorful he kept saying "it's terrible you won't like it because he didn't want to share it at all LOL". We had no room for dessert but I cannot wait to return for our next dinner date night! I would definitely give it 4/5 stars. Nothing was terrible the only complaints I had is once we were seated and our order was taken our server asked if we want appetizers first which we said yes and everything came out at once. Which is fine not terrible just our table was packed and hard to eat. Additionally once our food came out it was hard to get anyone's attention for more drinks but it was no too much of an issue that it ruined the night as they were definitely way too busy and seemed to be short staffed. I definitely want to return and check out the rest of their menu. I highly recommend making the trip to Kanoon!

I felt safe walking inside of The Smokehouse today, no unofficial doorman. The second thing, this used to be a few seats for dine-in, but I can understand why it's strictly in and out. They are very busy, I would say, too busy to deal with cleaning the dining area. That is a good thing for business. I didn't see what I wanted and the young lady, ( I appreciate her so much) was kind and sweet. She informed me of the type fish they serve. I got Whiting, Mac n Cheese, and Greens. The Food* The greens were very tasty, properly seasoned and proportioned well. The Mac n Cheese is always compared to moms. Though the Mac n Cheese didn't hold together like I'm used to eating it. I did find it quite D'licious. What ever they are doing? They, are doing! I had the fried whiting, it had a bit of spicy kick. Very tasty, moist, not over fried or dry. The cornbread was silky smooth and held together on its own. I've never had cornbread that was like butter yet held together and didn't break apart, even when you bite it. I got three pieces, of course for an extra cost and it was so worth the purchase. To sum it up, this is the exact kind of meal, taste included, mind you, that I'm used to eating down south. The smoke house has duplicated a fine Southern dish. Just thinking, if they decided to offer a full sit down experience, like severs, a hosts or hostess to greet diners, table service, what a wonderful world this would be. Pro-Tip: Make sure you get the peppers and onions on top of the whiting. You can thank me later. Inspire more, Yelp more!

Tried to get a seat at other restaurants, and ran into either no beer or no seats. So Smokehouse wasn't the first choice. But even then, it was disappointing. They were out of almost all the sides except fries and slaw, out of 3 of the 8 beers on tap (pro tip: take the tap handle off so people know and will stop asking for those beers) and probably the worst nachos I've had outside of a convenience store. Seriously, I've gotten better nachos at a baseball game. The nachos weren't heated, just the nacho cheese and meat. So there was unmelted cheddar cheese inside, with warm nacho cheese poured over the top. The "smoked beef" was rubbery and the whole thing was just disappointing. As far as airport food prices go, it was a decent quantity of food for $22. However, the quality was lacking. Eating at the airport is always disappointing because of the cost, especially if you want a beer. It's doubly so when the food is subpar.

I was pleasantly surprised against an admittedly very low expectation that the brisket was edible, solidly tender. It wasn't really flavorful, but I'm a pretty picky eater and at least it wasn't edible. The side salad was solid, actually nicer than most restaurant salads. Service was mediocre even by airport standards. Staff was kind, but not the most attentive. Ambiance probably average to below average for airport restaurant. At least it wasn't crowded at dirty.

The place is veteran owned and has been in business for a while! All the choices on the menu are mouth watering good! After serious consideration we settled on sharing the Trinity platter which came with brisket, spare ribs and sausage links. We opted out of the sausage and upgraded the platter with pastrami. The Texas Trinity platter also comes with choices of pickles, one small sized side, we had Mac and Cheese, and 2 rolls. The portions were satisfying and good to share. The meats, oh my! All were smoked and cooked to perfection! Moist, juicy, and tender! Even better, they were seasoned so well there is no need for the also perfect sauces they offer! What an amazing experience at Red White n Que Smoke House! From the friendly and attentive service to their amazing smoked meats! All was top notch real at this place! I ordered a 1/2 pound pastrami sandwich and a side of creamy slaw. I did ask for a cup of water too, since they can give you free tap water. But back to the sandwich, it game on a tray where it was a puddle of grease on the paper. I don't normally eat so greasy so it took me by surprise and I pushed on through since I wanted to try it. Biting into it, felt like a struggle for some reason. Maybe it was too much meat but it was also just salty to the point where I was coughing a little. They have several types of sauces that helped it come together nicer. And the creamy slaw washed it down. On its own, I just could not finish the sandwich. Someone at my table got 1/4 pound pastrami but not the sandwich. It should have been similar to my sandwich but I had them try it. They said my sandwich was so salty that they may have even salted the bread too. It made me think I was just unlucky with my order as the salt built up in my sandwich. It is a very popular place, so I think I should try a different item, but my sandwich did not sit well with me.
